This news story shows us how Nationalism can be a path that quickly brings destruction, and those that are caught up in it are easily lead to the slaughter. This has been the MO for many years now, and it seems that nothing has changed.
If the unity and oneness of humanity could be realized, without controllers, we could achieve amazing things.

This scenario is crazy - much to do about nothing - and is just another play in a dark game.

Tensions Rising Between China and Japan
Japan Warns Both Sides Not to Stir Up Nationalism in Boat Border Dispute

It started out as a spat over a fishing boat but has rapidly devolved into a bilateral crisis-- pitting the two great titans of Asia against each other in their worst diplomatic row in years.
Today, Japan's government warned that both Japan and China must beware of fomenting nationalism over the ongoing dispute.

"We should be careful not to stir up narrow-minded, extreme nationalism," Chief Cabinet Secretary Yo****o Sengoku told a news conference. "We should try to resolve the problem without escalating the situation, and we'll call for measures through all possible channels."

At the moment, that might be tough. China said today that it would be "inappropriate" for the countries' premiers to meet this week at the United Nations.

It has cut off all high-level government contact with Japan and suspended talks on aviation and energy exploration. Some 1,000 young Japanese who had been invited to travel to the Shanghai Expo, at the suggestion of Premier Wen Jiabao, have been told they are no longer welcome.

Just a few things come to mind regarding nationalism. It is quite the double edged sword, on one hand it's somewhat of a safeguard to one world government. On the other, it can breed hate and intolerance.

You also have to wonder too if 'nationalism' is being made the scapegoat all too often, so that there is further movement towards one world government. It's all just a slippery slope I suppose.

I, living in Northern Ireland, being born a Catholic, would be seen as a nationalist. I personally think that here in Northern Ireland, it has brought a real sense of community between a large section of the population!

However, their is the downfall that people become so stuck to it, that it becomes a tool for hate.

So it has its ups and its downs, but to say it is wrong, is in itself wrong.

Nationalism is OK and one should be proud of one's nationality. That said, pride isn't worth going to war over. That was proven by WW I (and many other wars before that one).
