A meteor that looked like an immense ball of fire streaked across the sky up and down the East Coast Friday night, astounding viewers throughout Massachusetts and beyond with its tantalizing tail of colored flames.

Following the internationally renowned meteor that burnt across Russia’s sky a little over a month ago, destroying buildings and injuring more than 1,000 people, Friday night’s meteor provided a brief, glowing spectacle that lit up parts of New England at around 8 p.m., according to an astronomer at the Clay Center Observatory in Brookline.

Maybe we are moving into the path of an asteroid belt, either that or these are the first volleys of an Orsen Well's 'alien confrontation' ala Kerry's Gordon Duff interview just posted...

There's an awful lot of stuff flying about out there suddenly!

Has this always been so, but we was never really looking/interested? Or have we really moved into this area of space junk?

more and more rocks falling from the sky, seems to be popping up all over, and our mainstream once again says zero about it ... they are so helpful...

Shucks! I missed it!!!! With all these meteors recently, it seems it's only a matter of days or weeks, not months, before one of these things make it to the ground and do some damage.....

I dunno, an engineered blast of huge rocks hurled at us, could make for the perfect excuse to launch stellar technology to counteract these acts of god, and program the minds of the humans towards the necessity for a big government to protect us from events which are acts of god and not engineered.

i say, it's just more mind programming and propaganda.

apparently this one was seen by many, many people. here's another article that i found about this:

http://easthampton-ct.patch.com/articles/did-you-see-the-2013-northeast-fireball-115e800a#photo-13768234

"The American Meteor Society got more than 500 reports of people seeing a bright meteor around 8 p.m. Friday, all along the Atlantic coast from Maine to North Carolina:

For those not familiar with meteors and fireballs, a fireball is a meteor that is larger than normal. Most meteors are only the size of small pebbles. A meteor the size of a softball can produce light equivalent to the full moon for a short instant. The reason for this is the extreme velocity at which these objects strike the atmosphere. Even the slowest meteors are still traveling at 10 miles per SECOND, which is much faster than a speeding bullet. Fireballs occur every day over all parts of the Earth. It is rare though for an individual to see more than one or two per lifetime as they also occur during the day, on a cloudy night, or over a remote area where no one sees it. Observing during one of the major annual meteor showers can increase your chance of seeing another one of these bright meteors.

Sightings all over Connecticut reported to American Meteor Society

The AMS provides a heatmap of the sightings on their website, along with an estimated trajectory."

Same here...AND I've got a telescope!

On another note, Putin has been asking the US to join up with Russia and build a system to stop these things. LaRouchePAC has all the details.

Let's ask NASA. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, breath, hahahahahahahahaha. Whew.

Anyway, how is it that some of these "meteors" are able to fly upwards, change speed and direction. I didn't think they had a steering wheel.
