With all of the wonderfully diverse experience, knowledge, and observation on this forum, I would imagine that one thing we could all basically agree on would be that we exist presently in a heavily manipulated realm. I think Bob Dylan describes it well in a song when he says: "Every truth in the world adds up to one big lie".

Peeling back the layers of manipulation is fine, and important to a certain degree, so long as we realize that we are merely exposing one level of manipulation, with a deeper and more refined one. It's surely fractal in nature, never ending. The ultimate rabbit hole to nowhere.

Now you all know I'm not a big Bible guy, but when the supposed Jesus character says: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well", I think what he is saying is: "Seek the truth within, that's where it is, and everything else will fall into place for you from there".

Our DNA is not "us", it's our conduit to the Source Field of all that is. Like a lamp plug is to a receptacle in the wall. Whether it has been tampered with (I believe it has) or not is irrelevant, because that basic connection can never be broken, only hidden or obscured. Simply setting the intention of re-connecting with Source, will catalyze the dormant parts of our DNA to start re-lighting up like a Christmas tree, and we will have begun the process of knowing/remembering, not wondering and/or speculating.

It's right there all the time, patiently waiting, but rather bored and indifferent shall we say. Think of it like you're a beach ball floating in the middle of the ocean, all alone. The moment you re-connect, dolphins find you! (LOL)

Thank you Fred, I couldn't agree with you more. There are wonderful threads of knowledge on Avalon and wisdom which has assisted me in understanding many things in our reality. I have learned to use what I have learned from Avalon members as tools to guide my own understanding of who I am and the reality we all live in.

I know that we are all on our own journey of understanding and discovery of who we are. I have learned that the real answers lie within each one of us should be take the time to explore who we really are. I rarely post comments in the last while; I have intuitively been guided to listen and explore from within myself and have begun to trust that spiritual part of myself which has never failed to guide me, even when what i might have to deal with was not
necessarily pleasant of all that comfortable. I am a work in progress LOL. I think we all are. The journey for me has been shattering, over the last five years of so. But I would not change a thing, because all that i have learned and all that i am has brought me to this now moment.

I am not the person i was. None of us are. But i also am aware that this is not a time to see on my laurels and pat myself on the back. The journey of self discovery is infinite, always changing, expanding and deepening our understanding of ourselves and other selves. So the journey continues. And i love it!

It seems that Bruce Lipton and others would agree with you about setting intentions. They discovered that genes are in default mode until they receive directions from outside them. Instructions can be given--via your thoughts--to turn genes on or off.

I believe the power of intention should not be underestimated.

Hi Fred and all
In my life I have met many many people who have had lives that few would wish for their worse enemy. Things...that used to tear me apart emotionally...made me question the purpose of such pain and despair in the lives of these people I met...my own life was very similar. I have been in contact with many of these people later in life and most of them have told me they would not change a thing in their lives. I too have seen the purpose of the hard times in my own life. When I finally came to realize that the hard times are there to prepare us for what lies ahead...and actually started to accept this, things started to change dramatically in my life.

I have come to realize that the harder our pain and suffering the harder we need to work at these things. But there is a wrong way and a right way...which became very evident to me...and the word is acceptance. How can we accept hardship and pain?...by observing the very things that seem to cause it...Not to fight the hardship and pain directly by going out and, for example, beating up the guy who just stole your girlfriend...but by observing the emotion which we experience when we have conflict in our life. By understanding the nature of our own emotions and the things which we do not like...we can begin to see the real cause of our pain and hardship. When we begin to accept that all of our pain and hardships and emotional traumas are all a result of our own lack of understanding our own personal nature...we begin to learn to accept who we are and then we can start working at the source of the problem and not the effects of the problem

This simple solution...which is not so simple to accept...because we fight ourselves and believe we are not the wrong party...is also the answer to one of our greatest battles in life...overcoming the hold that the so called controllers have on us. Controlling a persons emotions gives people access to their entire life...if we are aware of our own weaknesses we can see the enemy miles away...and prepare better.

In time you will start to notice a change in your reactions because it starts to become more and more familiar and you know the answer...walk away...a new moment awaits...what will it bring?

Although enjoying so much of the content here on Avalon, I find myself becoming Ok with not having the answers, to me ultimately it really doesn’t matter and in many ways I don’t care what happens, it is so much more about my journey on the inside.

Whatever may be going on in this world one belief that I hold to is that I chose to be here, to be tested and to learn.

Yep, and once the re-connection starts really taking hold, there's nothing that can be done about it. Game over. Still though, I don't see this happening en masse, but rather individually. Quite likely it's always been this way, and always will be, each in their own time. Of course there is no hurry, because there is no time.

How much you want to bet we'll be grateful for this experience as we turn out the light, and close the door behind us on this chapter of our eternal existence?
