View Full Version : The simple way

How to, where, when...all the questions of our mind in relation to be one with Source.
Ever watched someone doing something so marvelously that it looks as easiest thing in the world...
...when in fact on a tryout you see how difficult it really is?

That`s how it is with God.

But nevermind the human current mind, we`re called to action.
To be one again in mind, soul and spirit.

The simple way-being one with Source.
To love. To be love.

Seems like too many times talked about. But actually being LOVE... hmm...a rare occurrence nowadays.
From what I can attest, that single moment of presence, stillness, feeling of connectedness, being united...being one with God.

Understanding all and knowing all in a timeless second.
The simple way. Without a need of anything to be present now. Present with Source. One with Love-one with God.

It just happens all on its own-when we are present in now.
Simple as that.

:)

The slow cumbersome thoughts of the brain / ego can only take a man so far. Imagine a seasoned athlete, functioning in a zone where there is only him, his reflexes, and his immediate environment -- he reaches the "present moment". In this state, a Michael Jordan can slam dunk from the free throw line - without a thought, a baseball batter can hit a 100mph ball with a skinny wooden bat, a tennis pro can see the seam lines on a spinning tennis ball as it flys toward him, allowing him to see the direction of rotation, and adjust the racquet position appropriately -- all without a thought, but from their intentions brought forth in the present moment from which they observe.

At the same time, one not in this present state zone, on the receiving end of a high speed tennis serve, ducks and covers his head. He cannot even see the ball coming, let alone the rotation axis. The brain/body is slow and cumbersome and responds easily to fear, not the ideal state for excellence. Yet this excellence is what should be considered the natural state of humanity, and what we consider the normal conscious state is one derived from fear-based thinking. Allowing oneself to slip into the present moment, intentions are immediately turned into action of the highest quality, and absolute highest accuracy.

The thought of this present moment state causes fear in some who are not familiar, for the believe that if they don't "think", then something will control their actions -- the exact opposite is true -- when you center yourself in the present moment and allow intention to flow into action, you remove the middleman where "brainwashing", "possession", "mind control" all occur, as those things are accomplished with emotional response. Planting oneself in the present moment diminishes the emotional response of the body / brain, as we see so obviously in extreme athletes and highly enlightened people, who tend to function more from the present moment than most folks.

Food for thought ;-)

I gave a bit more of practical as opposed to spiritual explanation, I see the same concept, just different words to express it. ;-)

Imagine the day when the vast majority of humans have matured into this Human Being of excellence, I have a feeling it may happen sooner rather than later, but timeframes are funny things ...

There is a certain kind of rope, you may have read about it in fantasy or science fictions stories, it is designed to tighten when you struggle. If you are bound in such rope, the secret of escape is to stop struggling, cease movement and the rope looses its grip.

The monkey puts his hand in a jar to grasp the bait he desires, but his closed fist wont pass the neck of the jar. He has to release his desire of the bait, and release the bait to get free. (If he manages that, he learns to tip the bait out instead ;) ).

Removing the middleman is the key I think.
Middleman is actually anything that hinders you from the clear thought and stillness and presence.

...

Middleman is actually anything that hinders you from the clear thought and stillness and presence.

And vice-versa; anything hindering you from clear thought, or more-so stillness and presence, can be considered a "middleman" -- watch out for those ... ;) Thoughts tend almost always to be that middleman, except where thought is purely creative. Most people experience reactive thought based on emotional response 99.99% of the time. Little of that is useful. ;)

Anyone have any favourite techniques for getting into the present moment? Getting fully immersed in an activity you love is often one way that works for me.
