I remember back in the early 90's the American news media reporting that Iraq was starving it's people, that Irag was not treating their people very well, and that human right violations were abundant.
I remember the American News Media reporting that Iraq was a nuclear threat to the world

I came to find out ....it was all lies.

Now I see the same thing happening with North Korea, and a lot of what the guy in the above video tends to be along the same party lines as CNN.
How is the above video any different than any other yankee propaganda that we have come to enjoy?

I listened to the interview. It seems what Pieczenik is saying is that the situation is in fact serious. His complaint is the agitation propaganda coming out of the US (it's coming out of North Korea too). He indicates that there is a crisis and that the US is mishandling it.

He doesn't think North Korea would attack South Korea or anyone else; and he doubts the technological sophistication of their weapons systems. Fair enough, I agree.

They still have nuclear weapons though, and they are committed to continuing the development of their nuclear program.

Pieczenik also indicates that the North Korean regime is close to facing a collapse. Pieczenik opines that if this crisis continues to be mishandled then the North may in fact attack the South if they continue to feel pressured.

The only way diplomacy will ensue with North Korea is if they denuclearize. They won't. The conflict is inevitable. If the US (for some reason) agrees to accept them as a nuclear state then that would be tarnish US relations with Israel. There's no telling what would happen then, but the US isn't going to accept North Korea as a nuclear state.

It sounded like Pieczenik said that China may in fact distance themselves from the North Korean regime in this case. Maybe, I mean it looks as if they are. Yet, they are still treaty allies and I don't trust China (or the US government for that matter).

If China does cut them off then they would definitely feel more vulnerable and desperate. Maybe then they would be willing to denuclearize, or maybe they would become even more volatile.

It's not like this is all made up. I don't care what the news says or is hyping. I know the news does that, but it doesn't mean that this is all staged.
