TSA agents in Lambert - St.Louis International Airport singled out a three-year old
handicapped girl and threatened her with a pat-down. When her mother, Annie Forck
started recording TSA agents' actions, she was told she can't film security personnel.
Nevertheless Annie told agents that they can't touch her daughter without her
videotaping their actions. After that the Forck family was surrounded by TSA agents and
only thirty minutes later allowed to board their flight.

I observed a TSA agent harassing and bullying an extremely frail, elderly white haired woman going through a major American airport less than a year ago. The woman had a cane and she was moving very slowly and with difficulty. I estimate the woman was in her 80's and she was traveling alone.

The bullying by the TSA agent was so shocking to watch that people standing in line, including myself, spoke out and the TSA agent realized that her harassment of the shaking, elderly woman was being observed so she finally let the woman through.

When my turn came the TSA agent was extremely rough with me and I assumed it was because I had spoke out in defense of the elderly woman. I was in considerable fear that I might sent to one of the private rooms and harassed out of the public view.

I am sure it makes all Americans much safer that a white haired, frail 80 year old woman was harassed by TSA agents. (*sarcasm*)

I am ashamed to say that I decided not to report the TSA agent because I fly to US destinations from time to time and I was afraid that if I reported the TSA agent my name might end up on a no-fly list. Sorry to all good and decent Americans out there, but I felt that was a very real possibility if I reported the TSA agent so I did not file an official report about the gross misconduct I witnessed.

I feel bad about that, but that is how things work in a police state.

That is a horrible video and I hope everyone feels very safe now.

I do know why they inspect wheelchairs though, and it was happening before Sept 11. Some bright spark was smuggling drugs in the hollow frame of his (own) wheelchair. Later, in a different case, a dismantled gun was hidden the same way. My husband had to use a wheelchair and we were given these reasons for him having to have his chair totally searched, and this in the days before it was common to see people being searched! We felt like criminals. But I suppose there is a reason. However there could have been some way to make everything easier for that little girl. I suppose that it will all get even tougher at the airport in the US now, but does it make us safer really?

First they came for the ██████ , and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a ██████ .

Then they came for the ██████ ██████ , and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a ██████ ██████ .

Then they came for the ███, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a ██.

Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

I think there are two reasons why people don't speak out -
1. ignorance
2. fear
The reason I did not speak out when I saw the TSA agent harass that elderly woman was because I was afraid I would be targeted if I did.
And that is how we are all enslaved by tyranny - when good people fail to speak out purely due to fear,
and this is what the US has become.
I do not say this to condemn Americans because I have visited the US many times and I absolutely love the American people I have met. They are the salt of the earth, smart, creative, hard working, very good people. But America is very, very close to being a police state and what is perhaps most frightening is that many Americans are utterly ignorant of what is happening right in front of their eyes.

And just in case anyone is wondering why I am focusing on the US, is that when the US falls under the darkness of tyranny, what country on this earth will stand up to carry the banner of freedom?

Hi.
Your comment is so understandable. Hopefully your action you did take will help others to act as well. If we could just show each other that we are not alone I realy feel main more people would take action.

Remember fear is very powerful, but can be over come.
Respect and in peace.

I have to laugh at how ridiculous the TSA is.... A 3 yr old terrorist.... imagine that.
And has everyone noticed how no more fake bombers seem to be around anymore? Mission accomplished. Inconvenience and humiliation for everyone; and fright for the children.... Thanks, TSA! Thanks US govt! (These are MIA's - Morons In Action)....

I wonder if any of the Airlines are wishing the TSA would just go away...? They're not good for business....
