Thanks for posting this Viking, it was a very interesting discussion.

In the last two years or so my personal impression is that we are approaching disclosure fast. I see a lot of discussion about this, a lot of movies and TV shows that seem to prepare us for this kind of event. I was very disappointed that disclosure did not happen when Obama got the Nobel prize and I also think that will not happen in this October either. As the guest of the radio show says there is no motivation for the government to disclose anything unless they will be forced by something outside their control.

As for "A.D." (after disclosure) as the guest states the most important impact will be the shift from petroleum based energy to some other kind of energy capable of space travel. This would imply the collapse (or transformation) of the petroleum industry and all others that are based on petroleum... so a lot of jobs will become obsolete but maybe new ones will be created. So from an economic point of view it would be a shock wave :).

Another thing that could happen is like in Star-trek "First-Contact" :). Humans will finally unite being forced to realize that we live in the same big house. We will move all of our problems at "galaxy level". We will have galaxy terrorist, galactic borders, galactic climate change, galactic unions, galactic wars but hopefully back at our planet we will be a big happy family :).

Religion is another aspect that will be deeply changed/updated/destroyed by disclosure. And I think the Vatican is preparing for this with their discussions on the possibility of extraterrestrial life.

Also lots of things may come to happen that we can not even imagine at this time, being "limited" by what we think is possible using the current available technology or human capabilities.

I would like to say what I hope life to be after disclosure. (who knows, maybe at some energetic level it will make a difference :P)

First I hope disclosure will bring about sources of free (or extremely cheap install only costs) energy and converters for this energy into heat, cold and light. This in my opinion will solve many current issues that we have. If you have cheap clean energy and the appropriate converters you can do pretty much anything you want. You can build stuff, drill, mold or grow your own food.

Secondly I hope that currencies will become obsolete. All the basic survival needs will be granted by the source of free energy converted into stuff so why work your ass off in a job to make money?

Automation processes would free humans from work they do not enjoy performing. Products should be created by robots as needed without waste of material and resources. Of course if you still want to create/build something with your own hands nobody is stopping you!

Unrestricted and direct access to all information available, all designs, all patents and ideas for all those that are interested in pursuing them. No need to compete for funds anymore... no need to be the first discoverer of something.

I hope teleportation will be available for everyone to use, drastically minimizing traffic jams :D or traffic accidents and freeing up lots of space currently used for parking.

Humans would be completely free to choose how they spend their days:
- sleeping
- gardening
- eating
- cooking
- meditating
- making love
- jogging
- building something
- inventing stuff
- creating art
- discovering yourself
- dancing
- exploring deep outer and inner space
- sharing stories with our "alien" buddies
- levitating
- marveling at the real history of humans
- communicating with animals and nature in general
- having a job if that is really what you want :D
