In the first half, retired investigative researcher Bob Fletcher talked about his contention that a rogue 'Planet X' or Nibiru is coming our way, and the disastrous effects it could have for Earth. He first became suspicious that something was afoot when he discovered that massive amounts of money were being funneled out of the government and the Federal Reserve. He concluded that these funds were surreptitiously used for the construction and stocking of underground facilities that will house the elite and members of the New World Order, while the arrival of Planet X wreaks cataclysms upon the planet's surface.

According to his sources, the knowledge of Planet X dates as far back as 1983, so the building of these underground facilities has been going on for decades. When Nibiru arrives (he believes it will be during a March-April time frame sometime within the next five years) it will initially come in like a comet. "It's going to be dragging millions of miles of space junk and debris, not even counting the basic four or five moons...we will go through the tail of this thing," and at that point we'll be hit by a savage meteor storm like the fire and brimstone descriptions in the Bible, he said. Fletcher suggested that the US government will initiate martial law across the country before amateur astronomers are able to easily see Planet X in the skies.

In the latter half, author and reporter Bob Mitchell was joined by multi-dimensional 'time traveler,' Jason Quitt, who has experienced stunning sequences of the past and future. Quitt described his adventures as a kind of "vertical time travel" that's enabled by being in an out-of-body state, and accessing the astral dimension. Beings (whom he later learned were his reincarnational/ET family members) guided his trips and took him to various destinations. In one trip to the distant past, he was in a volcanic 'fire world' in which there was a temple. The beings showed him that the Earth has been through five major epochs, and there have been civilizations in all of them, he said.

In one trip to an apocalyptic future, the sky was dark red, and the earth was scorched and desolate. He visited an underground bunker that contained ill people, and saw a prison camp for children. On an earlier journey, he was taken to a FEMA camp, and the families occupying it were grateful and happy to be there, as though they were being protected from something on the outside, he recounted. Quitt also spoke his most far flung trip-- to around the year 2700, when Earth was in the aftermath of a war with two different alien civilizations, and the whole planet was linked by an AI consciousness.

As we pass the fifth anniversary of the meltdown of three nuclear reactors in Fukushima, Earthfiles investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe discussed the ongoing issues of that disaster, and whether something similar could happen in the US. She also examined another potential threat from nuclear reactor-powered satellites orbiting the Earth, and a new NASA space propulsion proposal that would bypass nuclear problems altogether. In the first two segments, she interviewed Arnie Gunderson, nuclear engineer, and founder of Fairewinds Nuclear Energy Education, who has referred to Fukushima as "Chernobyl on steroids."

Gunderson recently traveled to Fukushima to conduct tests, and found alarming levels of radioactive contamination. TEPCO, the company that owns the nuclear plant, has done an inadequate job of clean-up, he declared. Though they've picked up some 30 million 1-ton bags of radioactive material, Gunderson discovered that areas they previously cleaned had become recontaminated, due to the movement of wind, rain, and dust. All atomic nuclear power reactors must be near large bodies of water to keep fuel rods and cores cooled down. But during earthquakes, tsunamis and hurricanes, their basement generators can become flooded with water, turn off and stop cooling. That's why three of the TEPCO reactor cores melted down in March 2011. Nuclear engineers have said, "Fukushima can easily happen here in the United States," Linda warned. Further info.

In the 1960s to 1970s, the Soviet Union and United States launched many spy satellites powered by Uranium-235. More than 30 different nuclear reactor-powered satellites still orbit the Earth and there is concern over a collision in space that would cause radioactive junk to fall to Earth and contaminate a large area. Prof. Karl Grossman proposes that we go up there with a kind of "garbage truck shuttle," locate some of these still orbiting nuclear space systems and take them down safely and eliminate them. In her last report, Linda spoke with UC Santa Barbara physicist Phillip Lubin about potential new space propulsion systems that would dramatically speed up travel time by using an array of lasers to beam an intense concentration of photons at a kind of tiny "wafer-sized" craft. These light-powered drones would not carry humans but could communicate back to us, and would be the first human interstellar technology traveling fast enough to get to Earth's nearest neighbor sun, Alpha Centauri, in a decade or so, Lubin marveled.
Morcellator Update

First hour guests Dr. Hooman Noorchashm and Dr. Amy Reed shared an update on their anti-morcellation campaign (related petition1/petition 2). The morcellator is a surgical tool that spreads cancer in one out of 350 cases of women having a certain type of procedure. And while Johnson and Johnson has pulled their power morcellators off the market due to such safety concerns, there are some gynecologists who still prefer to use the tool because they feel the benefits outweigh the risk, Noorchashm reported. The FDA sometimes places marketing concerns ahead of patient safety when it comes to the approval of surgical devices, he added.

Born: Sioux Falls, South Dakota, 1957

Education: B.A. in Biblical Studies and Philosophy (John Brown University.), M.A. in Historical and Theological Studies (Oral Roberts University), and Ph.D. in Patristics of Pembroke College at the University of Oxford.

The culmination of his work is his four volume magnum opus on the Great Schism between East and West, with its cultural consequences for the resulting two Europe's, entitled 'God, History, and Dialectic'. It has yet to be peer reviewed by any major scholarly journal.

Another major set of works deals with alternative archaeology, physics, technology, history and alternative history. The subject of theoretical physics and obscure scientific research has been a life-long passion of Dr. Farrell, and would be his secondary choice of education. As a primary researcher, especially in documents research - he has launched innovative hypothesis on different areas such as substantiating that the flying disc crashed in Roswell, New Mexico, may have been a terrestrial produced vehicle, primarily from postwar nazi scientists. From his studies into the Antediluvian research, he formulated the weapons hypothesis concerning the pyramids at Giza, continuing Christopher Dunn's research (he states that his books on Giza "takes off where Dunn's 'The Giza Power Plant' left off"). Huge 'Godzilla' iguana swims alongside scuba divers in stunning underwater footage

A diver swimming off the coast of the Galapagos Islands crossed paths with an incredibly enormous iguana that nearly matched him in size.

Videographer Steve Winkworth captured the breathtaking encounter with the beast, filming the lizard as it foraged for food and swam through the water.

Eerily reminiscent of a horror movie monster or a reptilian alien of UFO lore, the creature appeared to be no threat to the divers, although we wouldn't blame them for making a hasty retreat after spotting it.

Time - it's the one thing that unites all of humanity. Animals have a sense of time, but they don't really care about measuring it as much as we do. We humans are obsessed with time, and for the majority of us it seems there's never enough of it. Having dedicated so much effort to measuring time precisely, however, it's kind of ironic that the passage of time can still be so incredibly subjective. "Time flies when you're having fun," isn't just a saying - when I'm out with my wife, I look at my watch once and when I look again in five minutes, it's been three hours!

Depending on what is going on in your life, your experience of time and progress could vary hugely from someone else. Some people might feel like their lives are staying put while everyone else seems to be moving on with life - it's a feeling single people in their 30s often have as their friends all settle down and start families.

Israeli artist Jane Bordeaux's song "Ma'agalim" deals with these exact issues, and is accompanied by an absolutely gorgeous music video by animator Uri Lotan, also from Israel. If Uri's art style looks familiar, it's because he's also done a lot of work on various Disney/Pixar projects, most recently Hotel Transylvania 2. "Ma'agalim" means "circles" in Hebrew, and the video is a beautiful reflection of the song's lyrics, which deal with feeling stuck in time while the world keeps moving around you.

Scientists: Earth Endangered by New Strain of Fact-Resistant Humans

MINNEAPOLIS (The Borowitz Report) – "Scientists have discovered a powerful new strain of fact-resistant humans who are threatening the ability of Earth to sustain life, a sobering new study reports.

The research, conducted by the University of Minnesota, identifies a virulent strain of humans who are virtually immune to any form of verifiable knowledge, leaving scientists at a loss as to how to combat them.

“These humans appear to have all the faculties necessary to receive and process information,” Davis Logsdon, one of the scientists who contributed to the study, said. “And yet, somehow, they have developed defenses that, for all intents and purposes, have rendered those faculties totally inactive.”

More worryingly, Logsdon said, “As facts have multiplied, their defenses against those facts have only grown more powerful.”

While scientists have no clear understanding of the mechanisms that prevent the fact-resistant humans from absorbing data, they theorize that the strain may have developed the ability to intercept and discard information en route from the auditory nerve to the brain. “The normal functions of human consciousness have been completely nullified,” Logsdon said.

While reaffirming the gloomy assessments of the study, Logsdon held out hope that the threat of fact-resistant humans could be mitigated in the future. “Our research is very preliminary, but it’s possible that they will become more receptive to facts once they are in an environment without food, water, or oxygen,” he said."

Author and mechanical engineer, Matthew Stein, is an expert in what individuals can do to prepare for worst case scenarios on all fronts including the economy, global climate change, and unexpected disruptions in central services. In the first half, he discussed the ongoing debacle of Fukushima - including background radiation rising, food chain contamination, and the targeting of whistleblowers. Conditions are far worse in Japan than the media is letting on, and the government there has placed a gag order, such that whistleblowers can go to jail if they reveal information about the dire situation, he reported. Further, doctors who submit a diagnosis of radiation poisoning from Fukushima victims, won't get paid by the government, he added. "The truth of the matter is that the health effects are horrendous, but we'll never know how bad they are because the government is obliterating any long term medical records," he lamented.

America is facing the same dangers that the Fukushima disaster brought to light, as many of its nuclear plants are either in flood zones or on fault lines. Additionally, many of America's nuclear facilities have gone past their life span of 40 years, and need to undergo an expensive decommissioning process, he cited. Stein shared accounts of brave whistleblowers in America's nuclear industry, and the negative consequences that "doing the right thing" had on their lives and careers. He also spoke about the possible effects of an EMP attack, and battling antibiotic resistant viruses and bacteria with the use of homeopathic treatments and colloidal silver.

In the second half, on the evening of Prince's death, rock historian R. Gary Patterson talked about the lore, mysteries, and conspiracies surrounding rock star deaths. The passing of music icon Prince "is a terribly sad story," that along with the deaths of a number of generation-spanning artists is making 2016 an especially tragic year, he commented. Curiously, Prince had recently decided to write his autobiography and felt under a rush to do it, Patterson noted. Prince's ex-girlfriend and musical protege, Vanity, had just died two months ago, at the same age as Prince, 57.

Patterson also spoke about the preponderance of rock star deaths at age 27, including Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, and more recently Amy Winehouse. He pointed out the chilling numerological significance of 27, which translates as the number 9 (2 + 7 = 9), which represents accomplishment and being ready to leave or make a change. Patterson also talked about the occult interests of David Bowie, as well as a possible conspiracy involving the death of Hendrix. Jimi's death may have been orchestrated by his manager, who had taken out a two million dollar life insurance policy on him, he detailed.

Coast To Coast AM - April 28, 2016 Earthfiles Reports

"On Thursday's show, Linda Moulton Howe presented a report on oyster farms in the northeastern U.S. which are reporting that acidic ocean water is dissolving juvenile shells before they can grow to adulthood. Linda’s sources say that this is due to increased CO2 levels in the world’s oceans, which has also contributed to a 95% “bleaching” of the Great Barrier Reef, one of the world’s largest marine ecosystems. She spoke to a marine biologist who warned that," the only way I can imagine sequestering CO2 is actually by not putting it in the atmosphere at all.” More here. Linda then shared her interview with psychiatrist Jim B. Tucker, who is studying children who have apparent memories of past lives. One of the most remarkable was the case of James Leininger, who at the age of two remembered being shot down in a plane in WWII. His memories matched with the account of a pilot who was killed in a crash during the battle of Iwo Jima. Leininger’s description matched the type of aircraft, the name of the carrier he flew from, and the other pilot who was flying the mission. See the full report here.

Next was a bizarre story of possible ancient structures in the Alaskan wilderness. Linda spoke with former Army infantryman Jared Beeler, who told her of a training mission on a glacier near Mt. Denali. Beeler recalled that his training sergeant spoke to him about a "Sphinx, like in Giza” he had seen on a mission in the area. The sergeant said that there were armed men surrounding the statue and that it was about the same size as the famous Egyptian version. Next up was an interview with an anonymous USAF crew chief who claims ongoing experiences with strange phenomena involving UFO sightings and apparent beings. After a close sighting of a UFO near his home, electrical appliances and lights began to turn on and off by themselves. One night he awoke to see a small figure standing near his bed. When he lunged at it, he was hit with a “white ball of light with colors in it” which paralyzed him and knocked him unconscious. He says that the figure he saw matched a reports of a disturbing figure seen by many residents of the town of Varginha, Brazil in 1996.

Before taking calls, George asked Linda about her experiences over the years and what stood out. She said one of the most extraordinary things she witnessed was a glowing orb that moved over a field in England that she and others could only see with night-vision equipment, and that seemed to respond to their shouts for recognition. She mentioned that when the New York Times and other news outlets reported that all the circles had been created by two old men that they had done “no independent research” to confirm this. During call-ins, one listener asked about the accuracy of global warming levels. Linda replied that the rapidity of the temperature rise was unprecedented in history.

Zika Virus and the Death of Prince

First hour guest Dr. Gary Ridenour joined George to discuss the Zika virus and how it is spreading. Ridenour says that there are two species of mosquito in the United States that can carry the virus. The danger to unborn children is already a concern, and Ridenour believes that it may cause neurological damage later in life to adults who contract the disease. People returning from trips to South America are already bringing the virus to the U.S. He outlined a set of recommendations to prevent or decrease the likelihood of being bitten. George brought up the death of rockstar Prince the latest news that he may have died from an overdose of painkillers. Ridenour theorized that the musician may have also been emotionally drained and said "when you give up and get depressed, your immune system shuts down."

Coast To Coast AM - April 29, 2016 A Skeptic's Take on the Paranormal

"Professional paranormal investigator and feature columnist for Skeptical Inquirer science magazine, Joe Nickell, provided his skeptic's take on the paranormal. Nickell has investigated many so-called ghost sightings and experiences, and often is able to explain the anomalies in scientific terms. "What I'm trying to do with my work with ghosts [or bigfoot]... is to actually go and actually investigate... and provide the simplest and best scientific explanation for it," he said. Nickell noted how paranormal explanations are based on an argument from ignorance, or negative evidence—someone does not know from where a strange noise in the home is originating so it is ascribed to a phantom.

"The fact that someone else can't explain it means very little because it may be that there's not enough evidence of anything to explain," he continued. Nickell detailed his investigation of Atlanta's House of Blood, where an elderly couple claimed to have seen blood springing forth from the floors and oozing out of the walls. Working with crime scene photos from the Atlanta Homicide Task Force under FOIA request, along with a nationally-known blood pattern analyst, Nickell determined the blood had been deliberately squirted onto the walls and floor. The police also concluded the couple did it for attention, he added.

Nickell explained why he does not buy into the concept of ghosts as energy left behind when a living person dies. The idea of life energy keeping the shape of a human after death, and sometimes including inanimate period clothes, is not a plausible concept from scientific standpoint, he asserted, suggesting apparitional experiences are closely related to dreams. He disapproved of the use of electromagnetic field meters and other equipment used for paranormal investigations. "I think most ghost hunters are detecting themselves," he said. Nickell also spoke about alien abduction phenomenon, pointing out the typical abductee is easily hypnotized and has a fantasy-prone personality, as well as the possibility of life on other planets. If advanced beings exist somewhere in the universe, it is not practical for them to travel here and buzz our planet, he surmised.

The Edge Makes Historic Appearance at the Sistine Chapel

"U2 guitarist The Edge made history on Saturday (April 30) as the first rock musician ever to play the Sistine Chapel.

The musician -- whose real name is Dave Evans -- performed an unplugged set backed by Irish teenagers. His appearance coincided with the Cellular Horizons conference on regenerative medicine, held inside the Vatican in Rome, Italy, according to NBC News.

Bono Wants More Realism in Christian Music: 'Write a Song About Their Bad Marriage'

In addition to acoustic versions of the U2 songs "Yahweh," "Ordinary Love," and "Walk On," The Edge treated the audience to a cover of Leonard Cohen's "If It Be Your Will."

In remarks to the audience, he poked a little fun at U2 singer Bono as the one usually called on for such duties.

"When I was asked to perform in the Sistine Chapel I didn't know what to say, because usually there's 'this other guy' who sings," he said. "So it took me at least, well, 30 seconds to agree to it."

The cause is close to the guitarist's heart. His daughter was diagnosed with leukemia in 2006, and one year later he joined the board of the Angiogenesis Foundation. Angiogenesis is the process of the growth of new blood vessels.

"I can tell this is a really cool audience, because normally when I mention angiogenesis people's eyes glaze over," he told the audience. "But you all understand what I am talking about."

He additionally thanked Pope Francis, who was not in attendance, referring to him as "the people's Pope."

"Being Irish you learn very early that if you want to be asked to come back it's very important to thank the local parish priest for the loan of the hall," he said.

Also appearing at the conference on Friday (April 29) was United States Vice President Joe Biden, who addressed the audience about the need to fund cancer research."

In the latter half, comparative mythologist David Talbott and Australian physicist Wallace Thornhill updated their lifelong investigation of "the Electric Universe" that offers a revolutionary view of the cosmos, our solar system history, the nature of the Sun, the behavior of comets, and stellar and galactic evolution. Talbott is convinced that the ancients saw things in the sky we don't see today. "In the latter half, author and researcher David Wellington reported on the use of drones, and robots in government and law enforcement capacity, as well for civilian spying and surveillance. He also touched on his research into transgenics and chimeras, in which DNA from different species are combined together. In his latest novel, The Cyclops Initiative, he explores what would happen if terrorists got hold of the military's drone technology, and used it to shut down America's power grids. "We have spent billions of dollars building these things and making them kind of the ultimate killing machine. They are absolutely silent when you are on the ground, and you can't hear them coming," he said of military drones. "Once the Hellfire missile is launched, it hits the target within seconds- -there's no getting away from it."

While drones have useful applications in disaster situations, such as being able to locate people in a flood, he expressed concern over their destructive capacities, especially as their technology becomes more advanced. The Big Dog robot, which looks like a headless horse, can move through any terrain, and carry hundreds of pounds of supplies, was being eyed by the US military, but it appears they are more interested in the Atlas humanoid robot, Wellington revealed. He described the development of "narrow AI," which is when a machine or robot becomes so smart, it can make decisions faster than a human being. While this type of AI has some real advantages, such as predicting algorithms, it could turn out to be a real slippery slope, he cautioned."

Chapman comes across as a quiet soul, someone colleagues might easily label the “office loner.” His conversation—typically one- to three-word answers—is torturously slow and delivered without expression.

Has he seen Ant-Man, the hit for which he created the credits—nearly eight minutes of scrolling names? He shakes his head. Then, very quietly, “Nope, some of my friends have.” Do they think what he does is cool? Another awkward silence. “Yep.” Ask him what the best part of his job is and finally Chapman cracks a tiny smile. “It’s when I walk home and see the Disney Tower characters illuminated,” he says. “It makes me feel like I did something magical today.”

Chapman is part of a new wave of digital effects artists: He has autism spectrum disorder (ASD), a developmental disability characterized by repetitive behaviors and difficulty with social interactions that affects 1 in 68 American children. He found his place in the entertainment industry thanks to Exceptional Minds (EM), a visual effects animation studio serving Hollywood that’s also a nonprofit vocational training program for young adults with autism.

Artists in Training

At Exceptional Minds, located in a nondescript building close to Hollywood’s major studios, visual effects artists on the spectrum are hard at work. Ant-Man and Avengers: Age of Ultron feature their talents, as do The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2; Dawn of the Planet of the Apes; The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip. On the small screen, their work is seen in Martin Scorsese’s new HBO drama, Vinyl. In Game of Thrones, these talented artists made every fake falling snowflake melt on the actors’ faces in postproduction.

Upstairs, students in the three-year training program learn the trade. Tiana Fazio, 23, giggles as she shares a picture of herself as a Simpsons character. The exaggerated cartoon likeness is spot-on. “My favorite thing is learning all the new computer programs,” says Fazio. “I like things that I have to figure out.” Fazio worked with classmate Noah Schneider, 21, on an animated short for Sesame Street called Benny’s Story, about a boy with autism. Next to her, Schneider, who is learning how to do animation sculpting in 3-D, shows off a bird flying through frames of changing backgrounds and textures. The bird seamlessly transforms from cartoonish to wood with leafy feathers. The precision work is perfect."

"In the first half, analyst of geopolitics and foreign policy Craig B. Hulet commented on the election cycle, current events, and the geopolitical landscape. The elite/corporate empire got snubbed with their pushing forward of Jeb Bush as their candidate, but in the end whether Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump becomes president, "on all the issues that matter, nothing will change," Hulet declared. Trump is not as much of an outsider as he claims-- "he's always been an insider funding the Republican party and that establishment of elite," he continued.

Regarding the possible lawsuit against Saudi Arabia in connection with 9-11, CIA director John Brennan says he wants to keep secret 28 pages of the 9-11 report that pertained to Saudi funding, as the information was uncorroborated. So no one's going to go after Saudi Arabia no matter who's in the White House, Hulet suggested. While Russian jets have recently buzzed US aircraft, he believes Vladimir Putin is not actively seeking war, and wants the US, China, and Russia to sit down and work out the interests of various nations.

Yet, "the corporate empire that's leading the western hegemony throughout the world has no interest in what the people of Syria, Libya, the Congo, Nigeria want-- they don't care what anyone thinks," he remarked. Various countries such as China, Russia, India, and South Africa are expecting a conventional war with the corporate regime, not with America per se, but with the forces that run the Western Empire, he posited. Looking ahead over the next four years, Hulet foresees North Africa as a new trouble spot, America betraying its allies, and China starting to make moves against Taiwan and Japan."

"You might have heard it said that the founding fathers of the United States of America would roll over in their graves if they knew what was going on nowadays. Corey Eib and Todd McGreevy from Agenda 31 agree wholeheartedly. Today I talked to them about Article 4 citizenship, sometimes called several states citizenship or common law citizenship. Their stance is that the framers of the U.S. Constitution would have never wanted the federal government to have the power that it does, and they advocate the switch from national citizenship to common law citizenship.

Corey and Todd met in 2012 at the Constitutional Sheriff and Peace Officers Association National Convention. From there, they formed the show, Common Sense Revisited, which was later named Agenda 31. "Richard Syrett welcomed John Hutchison, a self-taught Canadian inventor who has become known around the world for his remarkable experiments that show physical phenomena that are not explainable by conventional physics. He and wife Nancy, a former journalist, discussed their expeditions to sites of environmental disasters and how they claimed to have cleaned up those areas with a "ray gun." John discovered the usefulness of the device while experimenting with surplus electronic devices in the early 1980s. He described mysterious effects that included apparent transmutation of elements and anti-gravity in the area of his laboratory and said that "Effects were radiating out into the neighborhood, dishes were levitating, etc." Various organizations visited his facility, but most left because the effects could not be produced on demand, although one German group purchased his entire lab. "The Hutchisons discovered that the "ray gun" also appeared to purify and clean contaminated water, and when the couple heard of the BP oil spill along the Gulf Coast, they packed up a 25-foot trailer and towed 2 tons of equipment to Biloxi, Mississippi to see if they could help clean up the massive toxic contamination. Nancy indicated that she discovered a way to broadcast healing tones and frequencies that seemed to help clear pollution from water. Samples from before they arrived and after they commenced their operations were submitted to a lab. Nancy said that the impurities in the water that they sent to the lab after their operations started were "undetectable." After the Fukushima disaster, they believed that the gun could protect the west coast from leaking radiation. Their next stop was Gold Beach, Oregon, where they used another, larger version of their "gun," together with smaller devices to create what they said was a zone where radiation levels are decreased" ... He has recently been involved in explorations of the Tayos Cave system in Ecuador, a legendary vast natural underground network of caves spanning many kilometers, very little of which has been officially explored, as well as La Ciudad Perdida (The Lost City) in Colombia, and is particularly interested in the history and mythology of ancient sites as relayed by the local indigenous people of these regions.

April Holloway is a Co-Owner, Editor and Writer of Ancient Origins. She has also contributed as a guest writer for other media organizations, including The Epoch Times and iSpectrum Magazine.

April completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) degree and published research in the field of Educational Psychology. She has a rich and varied career, ranging from teaching children with autism in an early intervention program, owning and operating an online English teaching business, working as a research and project officer for a royal family, and co-owning a website design and development company.

You have a failure of the political system to face and manage and deal with what is going on. . . . We have managed this system by being more and more and more secret. George H. W. Bush said the other day that the American people can’t handle the truth. I think they can handle the truth, and one of the reasons I am encouraged by Trump is he is going to start bringing more of it out. That’s what we need. It’s the only way we can get out of this. We are being killed by a politically managed system that is being driven by more and more privilege and more and more secrecy. We’ve got to go to transparency, and it’s going to be a very painful process for the American people. It’s not going to be pretty. The game of musical chairs is upon us. It’s not coming, it’s here.”

"In the first half, documentary filmmaker, writer, and radio host Alex Jones discussed a variety of topics affecting our nation, including the race for the presidency, the Zika virus, and the latest on the Illuminati/Global Elite. During his interview with Donald Trump, Trump told him he was aware of the New World Order. "There's something real" about his campaign, and "the establishment is scared of him because he's spent no political money," said Jones, who added that since Trump's got the globalists so upset, he's decided to cautiously support his candidacy. Jones also announced that he was pleased that a lot of the issues which he, George, and Coast to Coast have been bringing to light over the last decade plus are now more widely known.

He described the Illuminati as cultural shape-shifters, with a Jekyll & Hyde demeanor. "They want a planetary government. They want humans dependent on the system. They want seeds that don't produce new seeds. They want humans sterile, so you have to have a test tube baby. They want control of the reproductive system of humans, animals, and plants." He shared details of his interview with Vivian Kubrick, the daughter and protege of the late filmmaker Stanley Kubrick, who told him that everything in her father's last film "Eyes Wide Shut" (about a powerful secret society) was basically real."

"In the latter half, Whitley Strieber talked about his encounters with the 'Visitors,' his alien implant, and the political climate for UFO disclosure. He also discussed the inspiration behind the new SyFy series, Hunters, which is based on his recent series of novels. The underlying theme of the books and TV show has to do with what it would be like to be a non-human yet exist in human form. Based on his interactions with a staffer on a Senate intelligence committee, he believes there is actual concern that non-humans could somehow infiltrate government, he reported.

The unexplained implant in his ear, which has been there since 1989, seems to turn on at certain occasions, causing his ear to turn bright red, he cited. Most recently, this happened when he was rehearsing his alien-themed lecture "A New World if We Can Take It," which he'll be presenting at the Contact in the Desert Conference in June. Regarding disclosure, Strieber surmised that recent comments made by John Podesta, former Chief of Staff to Bill Clinton, and Hillary's current campaign manager, suggest he's aware of specific classified UFO documents, and that the law requires after 30 years they be released if they don't have any national security significance."

"In the first half, holistic doctor and energy medicine specialist Keith Scott-Mumby talked about the electrical nature of biology, and how the universe is made up of plasmas. As an example, he cited how some humans are able to produce powerful electrical effects, such as a frail child named Angelique Cottin who was able to move heavy furniture across the room by touching it. Nicknamed the "Electric Girl" she was also said to give off electric shocks. Scott-Mumby believes that plasma effects may be behind such mysterious phenomena as crop circles, poltergeists, and even alien abduction. If ball lightning or a cold plasma ball gets near a person it could affect their consciousness or knock them out, he explained.

Referring to "Radio Human," he noted that people can transmit and receive various frequencies. The double helix is a radio transmitter, and it's as if DNA was telepathic, he added. Speaking of the latest electro-medicine approaches, he reported that Microcurrent Therapy (MCT) is a refined version of the Russian SCENAR devices and helps to reduce pain, and speed up healing. Vagus Nerve Stimulation has also been showing a lot of promise, as the vagus nerve reaches most visceral organs and reduces inflammation, he stated."

"In the latter half, psychic Joseph Jacobs returned to the show to share his observations about how 2016 is unfolding and what he sees on the horizon. He explained that he uses a Soul Life Reading technique, and each person and day are represented by one of the 53 playing cards. Interestingly, he noted that both Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are represented by the three of diamonds, which indicates they both need to express themselves, and could have problems with women. He suspects that Trump could lose his cool during the debates in the fall.

Jacobs foresees trouble with Russia, and "some acting out" by them going on between May 18th and August. July and September are going to be rough months, he announced. He sees health issues, heavy weather conditions, and ocean problems in July, and recommends not going on a cruise during that month. "September is going to have some heavy material losses. It could be through the stock market, or the weather. It's going to be a very dramatic month," he cautioned. 2016 will continue to have advances and updates about space, he added, and there could be some news about ET contact by the end of this year, or if not then, nine years from now."

Cannes Review: Steven Spielberg’s “BFG” is a “BFD”

"Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The BFG recaptures the spirit of “ET” some 36 years later. It’s not a huge coincidence since both screenplays were written by the late Melissa Mathison. And as part of a continuum The BFG is set in 1982 when Dahl published his book and ET was released.

This film may begin more slowly and dream like than “ET” but soars in its second half in every way. Mark Rylance and Penelope Wilton are just wonderful respectively as the big friendly giant and Queen Elizabeth. Ruby Barnhill makes an impressive debut as Sophie based on Dahl ‘s real life granddaughter.

What a treat this film is. And the production values, special effects, animation are some of the most exquisite ever. This is not just a family or children’s film. But like ET or Fantasia may capture the hearts of several generations.

UPDATE Just a little more at 12:06PM Eastern from Cannes– Spielberg does not make sequels really (aside from Indiana Jones, which was supposed to a satire of afternoon movie serials). “The BFG” is not a sequel to “ET” at all but Spielberg, so prolific with an amazing canon of work includes a few nods to the 1982 movie. At one point Sophie and the Giant touch fingers much like Elliot and ET, and it’s simply an acknowledgment.

I have always been of the opinion that the original Spielberg movies– not the biographies like “Lincoln” or “Schindler” or “Bridge of Spies”– has a very distinctive style that is very much auteur like. He has always been a commercially successful but he isn’t a “commercial” director. He said today in his press conference that making an original he felt “free”– his imagination run wild.

“The BFG” is such a compassionate movie, and very much an American one too. It’s also got something in common with “AI: Artificial Intelligence” in that it’s two movies — very Sondheim-Sunday in the Park with George. And while the first half is very artful, the second half is what makes the whole piece work. Rylance is great but I think we’ll see Penelope Wilton get acclaim in the supporting actress category too.

Movie opens July 1st from Amblin-Disney for July 4th weekend. It will set a record for an original non sequel film. Just wait."

"For years, strange phenomena have been reported by people at sea. Although many of the USO (Unidentified Submersible Objects) files of the Soviet and Russian Navy remain secret, some have become available due to the painstaking efforts of dedicated researchers. UFO (and USO) experts Paul Stonehill and Richard Dolan joined George Knapp to discuss encounters by the Soviet and Russian Navy with things that are not supposed to exist including the "swimmers" of Lake Baikal, as well as strange interactions with nuclear submarines, and inexplicable events within the forbidding Arctic Ocean. In the late 1960s, the Soviet Navy became aware of objects moving at extremely fast speeds in very deep waters that defied explanation, Stonehill reported.

Some of the objects had a "croaking" sound, and special teams were assigned to study the problem without ever reaching a definitive conclusion, he continued. In 1982, at Lake Baikal, an ancient massive body of water in Siberia, Soviet armed forces were conducting training for their frogmen, when they discovered mysterious 9-ft tall beings also underwater, which they were not able to capture, Stonehill cited. Similar beings were also studied in another part of Russia in 1992, he added.

A commander in Soviet naval counter-intelligence reported an incident in the Pacific Ocean where a gigantic cylinder was observed in the sky that separated into smaller pieces which submerged into the water before returning to the cylinder. Dolan noted that USO cases occur beyond Russian waters, but are generally hushed up by the various navies that observe them. There are also many cases where UFOs have flown over bodies of water or interacted with subs, such as an incident involving nuclear submarines in the Soviet Pacific Fleet, in which six objects came out of nowhere and began following the subs from above before vanishing, Stonehill detailed."

While he suffered from alcohol and drug addiction, she still grew up admiring much about him and his groundbreaking career. "Theoretical physicist Sean Carroll has recently worked on the foundations of quantum mechanics, the arrow of time, and the emergence of complexity. He shared the latest on physics research, and also probed some of our deepest personal questions: Does God exist? Who are we? Is there an afterlife? Does human purpose and meaning fit into a scientific worldview? Carroll suggested that our lives are a process that lasts on the average of "3 billion heartbeats," but after that, that's it. "If you think that that's the entirety of you life, everyone of those heartbeats becomes quite precious, and you should do your best to make the life you're actually living right now something special," he mused.

He argues that there is no God, no spiritual or supernatural realm, and no ghosts or an afterlife, and what gives our lives meaning is the tangible impact we have on our world and those around us. A number of callers to the show challenged him on those assertions. Carroll has been studying the intersection of quantum mechanics and gravity, and "what we're beginning to catch on to is that space and time themselves are not going to turn out to be fundamental." They're going to be approximations that are made of something else, in the way that material objects are composed of atoms, he explained.

He hinted at the possible discovery of a new particle at the Large Hadron Collider. It would be 800 times the mass of a proton (the Higgs boson is 150 times the mass of a proton) and decay away very quickly, he reported. Carroll also touched on his work as an advisor for some of the recent Marvel films such as Thor: The Dark World. While such superhero stories routinely break the laws of physics, he suggests ways in which their fantastical worlds cohere to the laws they do set up."

"First hour guest, Emmy winning television personality and host Leeza Gibbons discussed her experiences winning NBC's Celebrity Apprentice, her thoughts on working with Donald Trump, and her new book about optimism. She found Trump to be a paternal figure, and during the show she discovered traits she had in common with him-- loyalty and placing a high value on one's family. She views optimism as a kind of emotional competence-- a mental style that allows a person to be more resilient and focused on problem solving. "It's not about the glass being half full or not...you have to say, I own that glass...it's up to me to keep it filled up," she remarked."

"Imagine that you could float into space as effortlessly as a helium balloon floating from a kid’s birthday party. That’s the dream of Jose-Mariano Lopez-Urdiales, whose company zero2infinity is pioneering a new type of space tourism in the form of a vehicle he calls a “bloon”.

If his vision is realised, you would first enter the pod from a giant dome-shaped launching pad. A 96m-tall (315ft) balloon would carry you aloft, taking around an hour reach around 36 kilometres (22 miles) above the Earth’s surface. There, the bloon would drift for a couple of hours, as you take in the view of the Earth below from four huge panoramic windows – perhaps while sipping Martinis or enjoying a talk from a former astronaut.

When it comes to the time to descent, the bloon would vent some gas, before discarding the balloon sack altogether. A parachute would then open above the pod to slow the landing, and as you reach Earth eight airbags would cushion the impact. Using meteorological data and atmospheric simulations to plan their path, the bloon pilots could ensure that always landed in a safe location.

At least, that’s the plan. Admittedly, it won’t be reaching the heights of the flights offered by the likes of Virgin Galactic, which hope to send space tourists to 110 kilometres (68 miles) above the Earth’s surface. But Lopez-Urdiales says it will still be high enough to see the curvature of the blue planet below, framed against the blackness of space. Astronauts say this produces a profound feeling known as the overview effect – and Lopez-Urdiales says the “change of perspective” will encourage passengers to take more care of the Earth after their trip.

"And the bloon may offer other advantages. It should give you longer to linger over the view, for instance – whereas a rocket-powered flight may only spend a few minutes at the peak of its arc. “It’s like either watching a trailer for a movie – or watching the whole movie,” says Lopez-Urdiales. “That’s a critical difference between spaceplane and balloon.” What’s more, the bloon will save burning so many fossil fuels, making it more environmentally friendly. Since it will not be carrying explosives, it should also be a lot safer.

Monica Grady, a planetary scientist at the Open University, says the general concept “sounds amazing”, although she does question the scheme’s green credentials. “Helium is not called a rare gas for no reason, and it is a non-renewable resource,” she points out.

Ultimately, Lopez-Urdiales does not see the bloon as direct competition for other forms of space tourism, but an alternative experience.

Frederick Jenet at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and a director of SpaceX’s partner Stargate, agrees. “Zero2infinity’s bloon project provides another avenue for people to connect with the dream of space exploration,” he says. It may not appeal for people who have dreams of “Captain Kirk/JJ Abrams style space travel”, he adds. Instead, he thinks the bloon is better suited “for customers that want fewer bumps, shakes, and free-falls, and more of a quiet and meditative environment that would allow careful contemplation of the world we live in”.

Lopez-Urdiales is now seeking approval with the European Aviation Safety Agency and the US Federal Aviation Association, with a plan to launch the first flights in 2018. “I’ve got a spacesuit tailor-made for myself and I hope to use it sooner rather than later,” he says."

Free Energy/ Mind Potential

"In the first half, consultant Joel Garbon discussed his 25 years of travels through a fascinating international scene some call the free energy underground. He reported on the various stories of energy breakthroughs, as well as attempts to suppress them. While there are a lot of good things going on with wind and solar, the types of technology he focuses on are "new forms of generating energy that go far beyond the conventional renewables. So these may be frontiers in physics, new understandings; it may be learning how to finally measure and deploy forms of energy that always existed" but only now do we have a technology platform to convert them into a usable product, he detailed.

Cold fusion technology is becoming more robust and closer to commercialization, and he believes we'll possibly see the deployment of the first industrial applications of it within the next three years. Using either hydrogen or water, there are many variants to the cold fusion process, but generally they're seeing 3-4 times as much thermal energy coming out as the electrical energy being inputted, he cited. A company out of Seattle called Global Emergent Technologies is developing the work of a German inventor, Marcus Reid, that involves a self-charging crystal power cell and nano-structuring. It results in a continuous output of electrical current that is thought to be operating out of the "quantum fluctuations of the vacuum" or so-called "zero point energy," Garbon enthused."

"In the latter half, psychiatrist Dr. Norman Rosenthal, who first described seasonal affective disorder and pioneered the use of light therapy for its treatment, spoke about maximizing the mind's potential via meditation. The type of meditation he recommends is Transcendental Meditation or TM, a simple technique in which people sit comfortably twice a day for twenty minutes at a time, close their eyes and repeat a specific mantra or sound. "What you find is that the time you spend doing it is actually repaid in terms of being more efficient and also enjoying your life," he remarked.

People from all walks of life can benefit from TM, said Rosenthal, who cited such examples as former SF Giants pitcher Barry Zito being "in the zone" when pitching during the 2012 playoffs, wealth fund managers finding their work in the finance world enhanced, and a ballet dancer whose fainting spells ceased when she became a practitioner. TM, which can be thought of as a body-mind practice, can also do a lot for a person's physical health-- it has been shown to lower blood pressure, and improve heart health and sleep patterns, he added."
