Some aren’t able to make a clean break and walk away even when their inner knowing pushes hard. At an unconscious level, they foster an outside reason to create the last straw.

It’s been a long time coming. Every so often Gio expressed his desire to move on. I’ve watched his pattern over the years. In the last year or so, Gio pushed the envelop and be issued vacation(s).

Twice, I recall out of the blue there’d be an accusation towards another member. It was leveled at people that cared for him. It was a simple misperception of intent or miscomprehension of the material. He’d self-monitor with a short break, come back fresh and personable once again.

I think you posted some time back your were going to wind down this thread at some point and then retire it?
Is that still the plan....?

Believe it or not, two years ago i had requested closing the thread after i had moved on from living on the Eceti ranch. i had no regular access to the internet then, nor knew what my long term living plans were. At that time i had requested to close the thread then, but was told via the forum administration the moderating staff did not wish to do that. So instead i decided to stay on and persevere and continue my posting here. That is when i requested the thread title change back to the original 'Up at the Ranch' but with the added And Beyond included.

Over the last two years i have grown weary and disappointed at times from some of the forum post and also the stress related to being in a constant posting mode here as well. So several months ago i decide that would i begin to wind down my everyday posting towards this fall in about and around my seventh year anniversary here on Project Avalon. It has always been my hope some of the other ranchers might help fill in the void, but the sharing seems very few and far between.

i realize there are those here on the forum who obviously (just by their avoidance of the thread) would prefer i be off and gone, but that won't happen by any decision of mine. So since i am apparently the gas/monkey that gives this thread its get up and go, i will continue my residency here until the lights go out or my energies cease to allow. Some might call all this just ego gone amok, but there has always been a constant fire within that has called for my daily presence here. Though of course this a private forum, and my presence (like all of the rest of us) is in the hands and power of our benefactor and forum owner Mr Bill Ryan.

Yes, Gio was suspended for a brief while, and it was formally (and briefly) announced as usual to the members. Soon after, he sent us an e-mail asking to retire, and we honored his request. We deleted the suspension post, simply because to let it remain on record seemed unnecessarily unkind, and we wanted to do our best for him by retiring him with full honors.

He had twice before asked to retire, in recent months. The first time, we successfully persuaded him to reconsider. The second time, he changed his mind. This third time, we felt we should simply do as he wished. RunningDeer/Paula's post just above is really quite a good summary of where Gio was at.

Again, our sincere respect for him.

Federal Bill Seeks First Native American Land Grab in 100 Years

Even as the Dakota Access Pipeline protest in Standing Rock has galvanized Native Americans across the U.S., a bill entered in the U.S. House of Representatives by Utah Republican congressmen Rob Bishop and Jason Chaffetz seeks to take 100,000 acres of Ute tribal lands and hand them over to oil and mining companies. Will Bears Ears be the site of the next standoff?

The proposed bill also seeks to remove protection from 18 million acres of land in eastern Utah and prevent President Obama from designating the Bears Ears area a national monument.

Adjoining Canyonlands National Park and the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Bears Ears is an unprotected culturally significant region that contains more than 100,000 Native American archeological sites. These sacred sites are subject to continual looting and desecration. More than a dozen serious looting cases were reported between May 2014 and April 2015.

The area has been inhabited for at least 11,000 years. Many Southwestern tribes have longstanding connections to this land, including Navajo, Ute and Paiute peoples. The Navajo Nation and the White Mesa Ute Reservation border Bears Ears. Rock paintings and petroglyphs are found throughout the area.

The area is rich in mining deposits including uranium and potash with some deposits of tar sands present as well. Oil and gas companies are eyeing the area for drilling.

The area around Bears Ears, as well as Canyonlands and Arches National Park, are already dotted with oil rigs. Writing in the May/June 2015 issue of Sierra, Julian Smith reported on an area just north of Bears Ears. "The air was full of harsh mechanical noises and a petroleum smell," she wrote.

An unprecedented coalition of Native American tribes has come together to protect these lands. They include members of the Hopi Tribe, Navajo Nation, Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, Pueblo of Zuni and Ute Indian Tribe. The organization traces its beginnings to Navajo leader Mark Maryboy, who is credited with launching the effort to preserve Bears Ears. A long-time activist and one-time county commissioner, he has tried to broker a deal with a former moderate Utah Republican, but Tea Party conservatives and anti-public lands politicians have killed all prospects of a deal.

The proposed Public Lands Initiative (PLI) would appropriate 26 percent of Ute reservation lands and would favor mining interests over land conservation. In a July 23 letter to both Chaffetz and Bishop, the co-chairs of the Inter-Tribal Coalition wrote, "We do not see how further discussions can be productive." In a county that is half Native American, they note that under the proposed legislation, there is "only a weak advisory role for tribes" and that the "PLI bill is diametrically opposed" to their interests.

In an op-ed by Sen. Jim Dabakis (D-Salt Lake City), he calls the PLI "a flawed, political, one-sided, fossil fuel lobby dream piece of legislation."
Bishop and Chaffetz both oppose the Antiquities Act, under which President Obama could declare Bears Ears a national monument. Bishop went so far as to insert himself into Maine's discussions around creation of the Kathadin Woods and Waters National Monument.

In addition to robbing Native Americans of their lands, the PLI also gives anti-government activist Clyven Bundy what he wants: opening Recapture Canyon, another area with many sacred Native American sites, to motorized vehicles. Bundy supported San Juan County Commissioner Phil Lyman when they staged an illegal ATV ride though the canyon in 2014, desecrating Native American burial grounds.
A poll conducted in May 2016 found that 71 percent of Utah voters support the Bears Ears national monument. Support was widespread across geographic regions, age, gender and political party affiliation. The Salt Lake Tribune, Deseret News and Washington Post have all come out in support of the national monument.

The Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA) has been actively working in support of Bears Ears and protection of the red rock wilderness in Utah. In a Sept. 15 blog post, they call the PLI "the worst 'wilderness' bill we've seen in Congress."
Standing Rock has brought together 200 tribes, many sending representatives to the protest site from faraway states. The Chicago Tribune wrote, "Many of the Native Americans who have come here speak of a spiritual reawakening taking place." Their next battleground may be in southeastern Utah.

But of course the politicians, their string pullers and their fellow travelers benefit from the war of terror in a more straightforward sense. They get to use the terror scares that they themselves create to drum up billions upon billions in the name of fighting the boogeymen.

We’ve all heard of the $640 toilet seat and other ridiculous examples of Pentagon “overspending,” but these stories tend to trivialize the abuses by the military-defense contractors whose entire industry is built on providing overpriced solutions to made up problems. After all, the Pentagon itself just admitted it could cut $2 billion from its budget by shutting down some of the needless bases and defense facilities that have been built around the globe in the name of the American empire.

But $2 billion is chump change.

In the 15 years since 9/11, $1 trillion has been spent building up the police state in the American “homeland” itself.

Meanwhile, the Defense Department has been spending over $600 billion per year maintaining the American military in the post-9/11 era. $4 to $6 trillion of that was spent on the Iraq and Afghanistan wars alone, the most expensive wars in US history.

Combined defense spending, including Homeland Security, DoD, State Department, defense related debt interest and other defense costs, has reached the highest levels in modern history over the past decade. From a Cold War era high in the 1980s of $3500 for every man, woman and child in the United States to a 1990s low of $2500, that figure has since breached $4000. Just look at the chart; it isn’t hard to see exactly when the trend reversed and the good times began to flow for the military-industrial contractors: It was 9/11, the birthday of the war of terror and the new era of homeland security.

There are other numbers we could throw in here:

The billions upon billions in military aid sent to the co-perpetrators of the war of terror, including the $38 billion that has been promised Israel over the next 10 years.
The $1.5 trillion joke known as the F-35 fighter jet.
The $6.5 trillion of “year-end adjustments” in the ongoing, never-ending saga of the Pentagon’s missing trillions.

But we have to be careful not to fall into the psychopaths’ trap. The real costs of the war of terror cannot be measured in dollars and cents. They are not tallied in a ledger. They are not about money at all.

The real cost is paid in blood. The blood of a million dead Iraqis. The blood of the hundreds of thousands murdered men, women and children in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The blood that is being shed right now in Syria, in Libya, in Yemen, and in all of the countries that have crossed through the crosshairs of the NATO, American and Israeli terrorists.

It’s measured in the devastation of towns and cities that once bustled with life. In the families torn apart by drone bombings. In the havoc of the hundreds of thousands forced to flee their homes, leave their families and their homeland and their former life behind as everything they knew is torn to shreds.

It’s measured in the blood of the servicemen and women themselves. Lied to, propagandized and indoctrinated their entire lives, given a ticket out of grinding poverty by the military, shot up with experimental vaccines and shoved into the meat grinder for tour of duty after tour of duty. And then, upon returning home, left to rot in rundown hospitals and ignored by the glad-handing politicians and their military-industrial cronies as a suicide epidemic gradually thins their ranks.

This is the true cost of the war of terror, and it is incalculable. And none of it, absolutely none of it, will come to an end until the public stops believing the false narrative of the war of terror and the lies that have brought it about.

In the first half, Jimmy Church welcomed futurist and visionary author Caroline Cory, who discussed her principle that the planet and the universe is composed of an all-encompassing energy matrix. Cory began having spontaneous "downloads" of information when she was five years old. She said she was "able to sense energy and communicate telepathically with beings" which she believed was normal at the time. She recalled that the beings seemed like a "group of friends" and were different than her human family. She said that this first experience was with an intelligence that was not incarnate in a body and more like a universal consciousness that transferred information to her "as if you were downloading information" all at once.

In an effort to figure out what was going on with her experiences, Cory completed graduate courses in psychology in order to understand "the mechanism of" the human mind. She also described an "energy grid" which she believes surrounds and penetrates the Earth and other planets, and is the medium through which telepathy or even teleportation can occur. In the second hour, callers asked Conroy about how they could become involved and how this expanded awareness could help in their lives. Cory said that people could help to disclose the information of the planetary and universal grids and that the basic goal is "about us being in touch with who we really are."

SR 1230 – Virginia College Student Caught Registering Dead Voters

A Virginia college student has been caught red-handed registering names of dead people to vote in the upcoming presidential election.

Andrew Spieles, a James Madison University student working for Harrisonburg Votes, confessed to submitting 19 applications to register previously deceased people to vote.

Spieles was caught when he tried to register under the name of Richard Allen Claybrook Sr., who died in 2014 at the age of 87.

Claybrook was a former Fairfax County elementary school principal, and was known by a clerk in the Voter Registrar’s office.

The student was working for Joe Fitzgerald, the chairman of the Democratic Committee for his Congressional District and veteran Virginia political operative.

Fitzgerald said he had no knowledge of Spieles’s actions and fired him immediately.
William Howell, the Republican speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates told the Washington Post that this shows the lengths that Democrats will go to in winning the crucial swing state of Virginia.

“Often times we hear our Democrat colleagues suggest that voter fraud doesn’t exist in Virginia or is a myth. This is proof that voter fraud not only exists but is ongoing and is a threat to the integrity of our elections.”

Election experts wonder how long this form of voter fraud has been going on because Democrats must have some way of exploiting these fraudulent registrations or they wouldn’t be doing it. There must be a previously unknown way to cast fraudulent votes on election day because Virginia is one of 7 states that has the most stringent identification requirements in the nation – known as “Strict photo ID required.”

Harrisonburg Registrar Debbie Logan said on Thursday that using a deceased person’s real name and address but a false social security number would not automatically raise the alarm under existing Virginia law.

The only way election officials would have recognized the deception is when the voter had to display a valid ID, which is required in Virginia, but not required in 18 states – 15 of which normally vote Democrat.

It would be interesting to ask young Andrew Spieles what the plan was to use these fraudulent voter registrations.

Certainly no college student could have been motivated to do it as a prank unless they knew it could be used effectively in some way without the guidance of veteran politicians steeped in a culture of the fine art of political corruption.

Imagine how much of this is going on in the 18 states with zero identification requirements to vote?

These states are:
Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wyoming, New Mexico, Nevada, , Oregon, and California

Voter fraud is considered a serious crime at both the federal and state level that includes stiff penalties.

Under federal law perpetrators face up to 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine for each act of fraud. State laws add additional years of imprisonment and fines.

Remember the Sept. 7 Commander-in-Chief Forum where Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton appeared separately but back-to-back for 30 minutes each?

According to an email forwarded to us late last night, which originated from a Comcast email address, the technical crew for NBC which produced the event is now speaking out about what took place moments after Clinton walked off the set – a massive profanity-laced tirade aimed at NBC’s host, Matt Lauer.

It turned out that Clinton had been fed all the questions for approval in advance of the forum.
But then, after the approval, Matt Lauer had had a change of heart and he started his questioning with an unapproved line concerning Clinton’s use of an illegal private server for her sometimes classified, work-related emails.

According to a Comcast official (the parent company of NBC Universal) who apparently was quoting those on the set:

“When Matt posed the one legitimate question about the FBI investigation concerning her homemade server and the unsecured emails, we could see she was beginning to boil.”
According to an NBC Associate Producer of the Forum, as soon as Clinton got off the set, she exploded.

“Hillary proceeded to pick up a full glass of water and throw it at the face of her assistant, and the screaming started.”

“She was in a full meltdown and no one on her staff dared speak with her – she went kind of manic and didn't have any control over herself at that point.”

“How these people work with this woman is amazing to me. She really didn't seem to care who heard any of it.”

“You really had to see this to believe it. She came apart – literally unglued; she is the most foul-mouthed woman I’ve ever heard … and that voice at screech level … awful!”

“She screamed she’d get that f…..ing Lauer fired for this.”

Referring to Donald Trump, Clinton said:

“If that f - - - ing bastard wins, we all hang from nooses! Lauer’s finished...and if I lose it’s all on your heads for screwing this up.”

So, Crooked Hillary fears the gallows, eh? Interesting.

Her dozen or more aides were visibly disturbed and tried to calm her down when she started shaking uncontrollably, as she screamed to get an executive at Comcast the parent company of NBC Universal, on the phone. Then, two rather large aides grabbed her and helped her walk to her car.

Matt Lauer was massively criticized for the rest of the week on air by the Clinton campaign and the rest of the MSM as having conducted:

“an unfair and partisan attack on Clinton.”

According to the email, calls were made to the New York Times, the Washington Post, Huffington Post and Twitter executives with orders to crush Matt Lauer.

One staffer on the Clinton campaign told the NBC staff that they all fear Clinton’s wrath and uncontrollable outbursts, and one described Hillary as “an egotistical psychopath.”

Since Hillary does not allow any staff to have cell phones when she is in their presence, no footage is available.

Interim DNC chairman Donna Brazile, the first black woman to hold the position, was singled out by Hillary during the rant. She screamed at Donna:

“I’m so sick of your face. You stare at the wall like a brain dead buffalo, while letting that f - - - ing Lauer get away with this. What are you good for, really? Get the f - - - to work janitoring this mess - do I make myself clear?”

A female NBC executive said that Donna Brazile looked at Mrs. Clinton and never flinched, which seemed to enrage Hillary all the more. The executive continued:

“It was the most awful and terrible...and racist display – such a profane meltdown I have ever witnessed from anyone, and I will never forget it.

“That woman should never see the inside of the oval office I can tell you that. She was unhinged and just continued to verbally abuse everyone – she was out of control.”

Why did Lauer ask his rogue question? According to sources close to Lauer, because:

“… the American people deserve an answer from the former Secretary of State.”

Investment advisor Catherine Austin Fitts is backing Donald Trump. Fitts explains, “Michael Moore said in an interview that Donald Trump is a Molotov cocktail you can throw on the system.  Interestingly enough, if you look at the federal system, it has a negative return on investment to taxpayers.  If you believe you can never fix that, then throwing a Molotov cocktail into the middle of that is the most intelligent thing you can do for productivity.  It was when I wrote the theme for productivity for the second quarter wrap-up I realized . . . I may have profound disagreements with Trump’s style, but I can throw the Molotov cocktail (voting for Trump). . . . I was going to vote for Gary Johnson, but in the second debate when Trump said I will appoint a special prosecutor, I stood up and cheered.  For the first time, we were talking about real accountability in America.  Then, when he said if I were the President, you’d be in jail, I said that’s it, I am giving money to Donald Trump because that is the first time I have ever seen someone of national prominence on corporate media hold the leadership accountable for their actions.”

So, what needs to be done to fix the economy? Fitts contends, “The big issue in 2017 is how the government is going to get people to pay their taxes if the government is not viewed as legitimate? . . . We have a win/lose relationship between human productivity and labor productivity.  If we want to get more labor productivity, and if we want a stronger stock market, then we need to change those models to win/win.  The problem is you have folks like the Clintons who only know how to play in the win/lose model.  They only know how to slap out government money, and they are deeply corrupt.  They are very vested in the current model, and they don’t want to change.  They think if you change the model, you are going to have to change to different kinds of people, which is true.  You are going to need engineers instead of lawyers.  They (Clintons) are not willing to change.  They are not willing to bring more transparency to the system.  They are basically addicted to privilege.  The question is how do we change the leadership?  It now appears the leadership is not willing to change without a crisis.”

On the upcoming 2016 Presidential election, Fitts says, “A lot of this is going to come down to how the machinery is operated and rigged. If Clinton’s support is 10% or lower, it’s going to be really hard to rig it.  If you look at the turnouts at the Trump rallies or the views online, it’s hard to imagine he does not win in the popular vote in a landslide.  But again, this comes down to the machinery, and the machinery is controlled very much by the people who show strong support for Clinton.  I think it is very fluid, and I don’t know what is going to happen.”

The system is rigged against the common man, and it’s totally broken. Fitts adds, “If you look at the inhumanity rolling down on the average family, whether it’s heavy schedules of vaccines that cause autism, or GMO food that makes people sick, or spraying overhead putting Nano particles in our brains and cause us to be toxic with heavy metals, which produces all sorts of diseases and high health care costs, and I could go on, and on, and on.  Basically, what you are talking about is destroying humanity and the productivity of the general population.  It’s not going to work.  It can’t continue, and we’ve got to stop it.  That’s why I think if Trump is the Molotov cocktail, I’m throwing it.”

What do we have?

We have a pattern of confusion and bad judgement. This is typical of Parkinson’s Dementia. Remember the key elements in Parkinson’s Dementia is the inability to reason forward and to make good decisions. It also includes the inability to multitask where I’m working on one thing and new problem comes up I fit the new problem, I come back where I started. Can’t do that with Parkinson’s Disease. It just doesn’t work.

What is our outlook if by chance she is elected?

We’re going to have a president who is unable to work a full schedule. The decisions will most likely be made by staff not by her. She simply will not be able to take the 3:00 a.m. phone call. And guess what? It only gets worst. Parkinson disease only follows a downhill course. It doesn’t get better. So all this decision difficulty will only get worse and worse.

But the real problem we have here is since her staff are the ones making the decisions, are they going to be willing to blow the whistle and say she can’t do it? No. They are empowered. So why would they want to keep her in as long as possible making decisions that benefit them instead of saying she can’t do it? She’s out. Oh, by the way that means we’re out too.

I’m sorry she’s too sick to elect. We can not afford someone whose mind is this badly impaired in the White House.

All the immigration – legal or otherwise – is really hitting the lower working class very hard. Many of them are resorting to ever-more creative ways to perpetrate crimes – especially against women.

Here are three fake outs that Crime Stoppers and or the police have warned women about.

1. The Perfume Trick. Someone may approach you in the parking lot of a mall, a Walmart, or even a Home Depot and ask if you’re interested in some new perfume and gives you a paper saturated with it to smell.
The paper is laced with drugs that will make you pass out so they can kidnap, rob, rape, etc.

2. The Car seat caper. While driving on a rural you spot an infant car seat on the side of the road with a blanket draped over it. The idea is that there is probably an abandoned baby in the car seat. Nearby, there is some place to hide – tall grass, trees – something. All they want you to do is stop and exit the vehicle. If they are bold enough, just slowing down is sufficient, so beware.

This is also a known gang initiation trick. The police say do not stop or even slow down for any reason. Dial 911 immediately and let the cops check it out.

3. Eggs thrown at your windshield. A new technique used by criminals is to throw eggs at your windshield.

If this happens to you DO NOT stop for any reason and DO NOT spray with water from your windshield washer. Eggs mixed with water make a very dense, milky solution that will make you stop until you can see.

Just keep going until at least you are out of view of anyone who may have thrown them, and remember, they could try to follow you in a car as well.

Unfortunately, these are desperate times and criminals are now using more desperate measures to get what they want. These are among the fundamental changes President Obama was calling for.

In the video Melissa Dykes and Joe Joseph discuss the fairly muted reactions to Elon Musk’s comments about Artificial intelligence (AI) at the 2016 Code Conference.

I found the humorous edge Melissa and Joe brought to their own responses somewhat cathartic. If I don’t occasionally laugh I just end up hanging my head too often. AI is obviously a deeply serious subject, as they’re aware, since the technology is already impacting our lives.

I’ve heard Musk make the point (can’t remember if it’s in this particular video) that there’s a difference between advocating AI, and wanting to be fully aware of its development and potential impact, in an effort to be prepared.

In the interview segment that Joe and Melissa dissect, Musk says that AI, if it continues to advance, could relegate humanity to the status of a house pet, and he’s of the opinion that the best solution would be to insert a ‘neural lace’ in our physical bodies, an “AI layer,” so that we could interact with the AI, and not be left behind.

Whilst better alternatives may exist – who will be funding those and promoting them with the same cultural impact as those with a hidden agenda in pushing AI?

Personally, I’m not trying to single out Elon Musk. I don’t know his private agendas. He may genuinely believe that kind of modification to our bodies, essentially a merging with AI on one level, is the most viable way to survive an AI culture. He at least acknowledges that AI is a threat to us, and claims to be trying to keep this field of research relatively ‘open.’

What’s disconcerting is the lack of ethical and spiritual debate, let alone of any depth, on public platforms where people have the opportunity to raise deeply searching questions. I guess where we can’t find it, we have to create it for ourselves.

When it comes to technological inserts in our bodies – between concerns over its potential to increase population surveillance and behavioural influencing, and its potential conflict with organic, psychic and spiritual development – I see people readily absorbing so-called ‘smart technology’ into their lives, and can’t help but wonder how many are questioning the breadth of AI’s implications for our future as a race. Do we want faster lives, or deeper ones? Does it come down to a difference of opinion on what constitutes ‘deeper’ or ‘beneficial’? Or are those pushing for AI and foreign technology in the body, and conditioning people to assimilate it, simply determined to do it regardless of the number of people advising caution?

Found this lovely story, apparently from an interview with Bonnie, where she is quoting what her mother told her :

Physicists, biologists, and chemists are relentless in their pursuit of consciousness as a function of the brain. It has to be the brain. All those synapses and neurons and chemicals…and underneath them, the atoms and the sub-atomic particles…somehow these tiny particles conspire to produce consciousness and awareness.

Yet these same scientists deny that a sub-atomic particle carries any trace of awareness. The particles flow. They obey laws. That’s all.

You, sitting there right now, reading these words—you understand the words; you KNOW you’re reading them; you’re not just processing information. YOU ARE CONSCIOUS.

If a physicist wants to say that you, knowing you’re reading, are just a phenomenon of atoms in motion, let him try, let him explain. Let him do more than bloviate.

Imagine you were the chief of a CIA section called Consciousness Covert Ops. What would you try to do, given that your motive, as always, is control?

You would try to convince the population that consciousness isn’t free and wide-ranging and powerful and independent. You would try to narrow the popular belief about consciousness.

What better way than to focus on the brain as the seat of all awareness?

“The brain functions according to laws. We’re discovering more and more about those laws. We can determine when the brain is malfunctioning. We’re learning how to correct those malfunctions.”

Indeed.

You’re spinning narrative about the brain as if it were a car that has to visit the shop. That’s what you want. You want to make people believe their brains need fixes, because, after all, you come out of the long tradition of CIA MKULTRA mind control.

When the brain comes into the shop, you can try to reprogram it. You can experiment. You can apply the latest technology. You can attempt to insert controls. You can place monitors in the brain, in order to observe it in real time.

At a more basic, yes, philosophic level, you want to eliminate any sort of movement claiming that consciousness is separate from the brain. You want to snuff that idea out. It’s counter-productive, to say the least. It could give rise to a renaissance of an old outmoded notion called: freedom.

What could be more free, more independent, more unique, more creative than individual consciousness that has a non-material basis?

You want to do everything you can to equate consciousness with the brain and, thus, the modern idea of the computer. Yes, the computer. Perfect.

“Consciousness is a computer operating at a very high level.”

“All computers can be improved.”

“All computers can malfunction. They can be repaired.”

And then, the ultimate coup:

“Consciousness? A very old idea that, in light of the progress of technology, has no merit. It’s really information processing. The brain handles that. The brain is a computer. We’re learning how to build a better brain…”

You’re shifting the focus of the old 1950s MKULTRA program, which mainly involved drugs and hypnosis, to a new arena. You’re coming at the territory inside the skull from a number of angles. You’re the next generation of Brave New World.

And right across town, the Pentagon and its research branch, DARPA, is deeply involved in a number of allied research projects. For example, the cortical modem, a little piece of equipment that costs about $10.

The gist? Insert proteins into neurons, and then beam photons into those proteins, thus creating image displays that bypass the normal channels of perception.

Virtual reality with no headset. The project is still in its early stages, but the direction is clear: give the “user” an image display beyond his ability to choose.

It’s touted as an overlay. The person, walking down the street, can still see the street, but he can also see what you give him, what you insert into his visual cortex. Of course, as the technology advances, you could take things further: block out physical reality and immerse the person in the virtual.

DARPA’s enthusiasm about this project, as usual, exceeds its current grasp, but its determination to succeed is quite genuine. And the money is there.

Think about this. Which way is a bright college student going to go? He can study ancient philosophy, in the least popular department on campus. He can read the Vedanta, and plow through its explications of consciousness. Or he can study biology and physics, and then try to land an entry job with the Pentagon, where he can fiddle with the human brain for fun and profit. This student has been thoroughly immersed in computers since he could crawl. He understands what they do and how they work. He’s been taught, over and over, that the human brain (consciousness) is a computer. So what path will he take?

Over and above everything I’m pointing out in this article, there is a human capacity called imagination. It’s the wild card in the deck. It’s the greatest wild card ever known. It is, in fact, the cutting edge of consciousness. It invents new realities. It releases gigantic amounts of buried energy. And it’s entirely an individual proposition.

I built my second collection, Exit From The Matrix, on that basis: the liberation and expansion of imagination. Not just in theory, but in practice. There are dozens of imagination techniques to work with.

Brain=computer=consciousness is the greatest covert op on the planet. It’s supported with major money and labs and journals and armies of psychiatrists and neurological professionals and physicists and the military.

And the op is completely false, because, again, the very scientists who push it are saying the brain is composed of sub-atomic particles THAT CONTAIN ZERO CONSCIOUSNESS.

Think about that.

They’re saying consciousness arises out of particles that have no consciousness.

Clif High-2017 Predictions on Everything

Internet data mining expert Clif High says forget about the rumors and predictions of Donald Trump being blocked from taking office. High says Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President and explains, “I don’t have any data that says, hard stop, Trump is assassinated.  I don’t have that . . . . I am willing to back my data with real money, an ounce of silver, and I have an ounce of silver, and I would be willing to bet the inauguration part goes through smoothly given the emotional data sets we have now.”

High, who calls what he does “Predictive Linguistics,” mines the internet and collects billions of data points to produce forecasts of the future.  On the financial markets, High simply says, “We’re screwed. . . . The equity markets in our data sets are highly manipulated.  So, if you ask will there be a crash?  I say there already is a crash.  Everybody that is not part of the financial system at the top end is currently living in a depression, and the media does not acknowledge this.”

On the U.S. dollar and its purchasing power, High predicts, “The purchasing power is going to be eroded away fairly quickly. I suspect the erosion (of the U.S. dollar) is going to start in March or so. . . . The turning point for the Trump euphoria will hit at the end of February and carry on through March and April.  There will probably be people that will define this as a crash. . . . In our data sets, around March and April, the erosion of the dollar continues . . . The Fed, in a laggardly way, starts to chase interest rates. . . . We may jump to 9% or 10% interest rates as quickly as March or April.”

On Real Estate prices, High’s data tells him the entire market will eventually “fall by 90%.” High explains, “The language is about the high end crashing first, and then, it meets the middle tier, and then they crash to meet the lower tier.  So, it’s not going to be the high end coming down and then stabilizing.  We are seeing a generalized property price crash that is really just going to coincide with the inability of the banks to circulate enough money and create enough debt to blow the balloon up again.  Real estate will drop for what I am calling a credit freeze for lack of a better word.”

On Gold and Silver and Bitcoin, High says they will start moving up at the beginning of the New Year, and Obama will see the beginnings of a market crash before he leaves office. High contends, “Our data sets show that there is a lot of upward pressure on Gold and Silver and Bitcoin as the currencies go into a crisis mode. That basically is already happening.”

High’s data is pointing to Silver and Gold prices starting to takeoff in early 2017. High says data is showing a possible “$600 per ounce price for Silver” at some point.  High says before that happens, he sees “$125 per ounce” price for Silver on up to “$345 per ounce.”  High’s data also repeatedly says the “gold price per ounce will eventually be equal to the Dow.”

High also predicts, “There are going to be so many of these flash crashes they are going to be called ‘flashies.’ We are going to have these flashies as a repeated component of our technological age here for at least the next few months.  We are going to have these especially as we move into January.”

High’s latest report is titled Sci-fi World and has data about Antarctica and new technology discoveries from the continent at the bottom of the world. High says, “We called this Sci-Fi world because we are going to be getting into things . . . like re-looking at our history that will go back 7,000 years.  That’s going to upset a lot of people whose thinking is so ridged that they are not going to be able to accept the developing reality around them.  A lot of this is going to come from this discovery that has already occurred in Antarctica.  It probably occurred 20 years ago, and we are just now going to start hearing about it over these next few years. . . .We are going to start seeing the real information of where trillions of our missing dollars have gone.  We are going to start seeing new inventions pouring out all over the place as they have been officially allowed to because we need them now.  A lot of this is going to pivot on whatever it is that has been discovered in Antarctica.”

According to a new study just published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, one or two sessions of moderate-to-vigorous exercise was sufficient to reduce death significantly, from all causes, including cardiovascular disease (CVD) and cancer.

The World Health Organization recommends that people aged 18 to 64 should do at least 150 minutes a week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity; or 75 minutes a week of vigorous exercise.

However, more research was needed to determine the effects on “weekend warrior” exercisers – people who took all of their moderate or vigorous exercise in one or two days on the weekends.

A new study was done by lead author Dr. Gary O’Donovan, of Loughborough Univ., in Loughborough, England in collaboration with Harvard University and the University of Sydney.

The study surprisingly found that 150 minutes of moderate, or 75 minutes of vigorous activity in one or two sessions per week – like one tennis match – cut the risk of death from all causes, including CVD and cancer by 30% compared to inactive adults.

Those who spread their exercise out over more than two days – or exercised more than the recommended minimum got only a small increase in benefit. They were 35% less likely to die of any cause.

Previous studies had labeled the weekend warriors as “insufficiently active” however this new data, collected from over 63,000 adults in England and Scotland over an 8-year period – from 1994-2012 – but not analyzed until 2016 – showed that even weekend warrior exercisers derive a significant benefit.

The bottom line: any amount of exercise is good for you. The human body was made to work. Sweating out the poisons through the skin probably eliminates toxins that are difficult to get rid of in other ways.

- And the foremost and primary rule: If your gut tells you somebody is foocking with you, or you feel uneasy around them, trust it. NLP people almost always seem “off,” dodgy, or like used car salesmen. Flee, or request they show you the respect of not applying NLP techniques when interacting with you.

- NLP is a technique of layering subtle meaning into spoken or written language so that you can implant suggestions into a personʼs unconscious mind without them knowing what youʼre doing.

NLP or Neuro-Linguistic Programming is one of the worldʼs most prevalent methods of mind control, used by everyone from sales callers to politicians to media pundits, and itʼs nasty to the core. Hereʼs ten ways to make sure nobody uses it on you... ever.

How exactly does this thing work?

To oversimplify an overcomplicated subject, it more or less works like this: first, the user (or “NLPer,” as NLP people often refer to themselves—and I should note here that the large majority of NLP people, especially those who are primarily therapists, are likely well-meaning) of NLP pays very, very close attention to the person theyʼre working with.

By watching subtle cues like eye movement, skin flush, pupil dilation and nervous tics, a skilled NLP person can quickly determine:

a) What side of the brain a person is predominantly using;

b) What sense (sight, smell, etc.) is most predominant in their brain;
c) How their brain stores and utilizes information (ALL of this can be gleaned from eye movements);
d) When theyʼre lying or making information up.

After this initial round of information gathering, the “NLPer” begins to slowly and subtly mimic the client, taking on not only their body language but also their speech mannerisms, and will begin speaking with language patterns designed to target the clientʼs primary sense.

An NLP person essentially carefully fakes the social cues that cause a person to drop their guard and enter a state of openness and suggestibility.

For instance, a person predominantly focused on sight will be spoken to in language using visual metaphors —”Do you see what Iʼm saying?” “Look at it this way”— while a person for which hearing is the dominant sense will be spoken to in auditory language—”Hear me out,” “Iʼm listening to you closely.”

By mirroring body language and linguistic patterns, the NLPer is attempting to achieve one very specific response: rapport.

Rapport is the mental and physiological state that a human enters when they let their social guard down, and it is generally achieved when a person comes to the conclusion that the person theyʼre talking to is just like them.

See how that works, broadly? An NLP person essentially carefully fakes the social cues that cause a person to drop their guard and enter a state of openness and suggestibility.

Once rapport is achieved, the NLPer will then begin subtly leading the interaction. Having mirrored the other person, they can now make subtle changes to actually influence the other personʼs behavior. Combined with subtle language patterns, leading questions and a whole slew of other techniques, a skilled NLPer can at this point steer the other person wherever they like, as long as the other person isnʼt aware of whatʼs happening and thinks everything is arising organically, or has given consent.

That means itʼs actually fairly hard to use NLP to get people to act out-of-character, but it can be used for engineering responses within a personʼs normal range of behavior—like donating to a cause, making a decision they were putting off, or going home with you for the night if they might have considered it anyway.

From this point, the NLPer will seek to do two things—elicit 
and anchor.

Eliciting happens when an NLPer uses leading and language to engineer an emotional state—for instance, hunger. Once a state has been elicited, the NLPer can then anchor it with a physical cue—for instance, touching your shoulder. In theory, if done right, the NLPer can then call up the hungry state any time they touch your shoulder in the same way. Itʼs conditioning, plain and simple.

How can I make sure nobody pulls this horse**** on me?

Iʼve had all kinds of people attempt to “NLP” me into submission, including multiple people Iʼve worked for over extended periods of time, and even people Iʼve been in relationships with. Consequently, Iʼve developed a pretty keen immune response to it. Iʼve also studied its mechanics very closely, largely to resist the nonsense of said people. Hereʼs a few key methods Iʼve picked up. 




10 Ways to Protect Yourself From Neuro-Linguistic Programming

1. Be extremely wary of people copying your body language.

If youʼre talking to somebody who may be into NLP, and you notice that theyʼre sitting in exactly the same way as you, or mirroring the way you have your hands, test them by making a few movements and seeing if they do the same thing. Skilled NLPers will be better at masking this than newer ones, but newer ones will always immediately copy the same movement. This is a good time to call people on their ****.

2. Move your eyes in random and unpredictable patterns.

Such NLP. So sociopathy. Wow.

This is freaking hilarious to do to troll NLPers. Especially in the initial stages of rapport induction, an NLP user will be paying incredibly close attention to your eyes. You may think itʼs because theyʼre intensely interested in what youʼre saying. They are, but not because they actually care about your thoughts: Theyʼre watching your eye movements to see how you store and access information.

In a few minutes, theyʼll not only be able to tell when youʼre lying or making something up, theyʼll also be able to figure out what parts of your brain youʼre using when youʼre speaking, which can then lead them to be so clued in to what youʼre thinking that they almost come across as having some kind of psychic insight into your innermost thoughts. A clever hack for this is just to randomly dart your eyes around—look up to the right, to the left, side to side, down... make it seem natural, but do it randomly and with no pattern.

This will drive an NLP person utterly nuts because youʼll be throwing off their calibration.

3. Do not let anybody touch you.

This is pretty obvious and kind of goes without saying in general. But letʼs say youʼre having a conversation with somebody you know is into NLP, and you find yourself in a heightened emotional state—maybe you start laughing really hard, or get really angry, or something similar—and the person youʼre talking to touches you while youʼre in that state.

They might, for instance, tap you on the shoulder. What just happened? They anchored you so that later, if they want to put you back into the state you were just in, they can (or so the wayward logic of NLP dictates) touch you in the same place. Just be like, oh hell no you did not.

4. Be wary of vague language.

One of the primary techniques that NLP took from Milton Erickson is the use of vague language to induce hypnotic trance. Erickson found that the more vague language is, the more it leads people into trance, because there is less that a person is liable to disagree with or react to. Alternately, more specific language will take a person out of trance. (Note Obamaʼs use of this specific technique in the “Change” campaign, a word so vague that anybody could read anything into it.)

5. Be wary of permissive language.

- “Feel free to relax.”
- “Youʼre welcome to test drive this car if you like.”
- “You can enjoy this as much as you like.”

Watch the f*k out for this. This was a major insight of pre-NLP hypnotists like Erickson: the best way to get somebody to do something, including going into a trance, is by allowing them to give you permission to do so.

Because of this, skilled hypnotists will NEVER command you outright to do something—i.e. “Go into a trance.” They WILL say things like “Feel free to become as relaxed as you like.”

6. Be wary of gibberish.

Nonsense phrases like “As you release this feeling more and more you will find yourself moving into present alignment with the sound of your success more and more.”

This kind of gibberish is the bread and butter of the pacing- and-leading phase of NLP; the hypnotist isnʼt actually saying anything, theyʼre just trying to program your internal emotional states and move you towards where they want you to go.

ALWAYS say “Can you be more specific about that” or “Can you explain exactly what you mean?”

This does two things: it interrupts this whole technique, and it also forces the conversation into specific language, breaking the trance-inducing use of vague language we discussed in #4.

7. Read between the lines.

NLP people will consistently use language with hidden or layered meanings.

For instance “Diet, nutrition and sleep with me are the most important things, donʼt you think?”

On the surface, if you heard this sentence quickly, it would seem like an obvious statement that you would probably agree with without much thought.

Yes, of course diet, nutrition and sleep are important things, sure, and this personʼs really into being healthy, thatʼs great.

But whatʼs the layered-in message? “Diet, nutrition and sleep with me are the most important things, donʼt you think?” Yep, and you just unconsciously agreed to it. Skilled NLPers can be incredibly subtle with this.

8. Watch your attention.

Be very careful about zoning out around NLP people—itʼs an invitation to leap in with an unconscious cue.

Hereʼs an example: An NLP user who was attempting to get me to write for his blog for free noticed I appeared not to be paying attention and was looking into the distance, and then started using the technique listed in #7 by talking about how he never has to pay for anything because media outlets send him review copies of books and albums for free. “Everything for free,” he began hissing at me. “I get everything. For. Free.” Obvious, no?

9. Donʼt agree to anything.

If you find yourself being led to make a quick decision on something, and feel youʼre being steered, leave the situation.

Wait 24 hours before making any decisions, especially financial ones. Do NOT let yourself get swept up into making an emotional decision in the spur of the moment. Sales people are armed with NLP techniques specifically for engineering impulse buys. Donʼt do it. Leave, and use your rational mind.

10. Trust your intuition.

And the foremost and primary rule: If your gut tells you somebody is ****ing with you, or you feel uneasy around them, trust it. NLP people almost always seem “off,” dodgy, or like used car salesmen. Cathy O’Brien - The brain instinctually shuts down the neural-pathways when there’s trauma so the rest of the mind will function normally. I couldn’t think to bring to mind that trauma. I couldn’t think to remember it at all because that’s just the way the brain works.

When my father would sexually abuse me again, the part of the brain that would open up to deal with that abuse over and over again as needed. That kind of natural compartmentalization within the brain is what the governments figured is that would be a good place to store government secrets because what better place to store it in the mind of someone who couldn’t think to tell the secrets.

So I couldn’t think to do that with no conscious mind happening. The more trauma I experienced deliberately, the more deliberate compartmentalization and mind controlled programing that I endured in MKUltra mind control, the less room in my mind anymore for conscious thought. And without conscious thought there’s no ability to reason, to question, to consciously comprehend, to critically analyze, to apply any knowledge. I could only robotically do what I was told to do as I was triggered into different modes of operation.

Cathy O’Brien - Without conscious thought, there’s no awareness of conscious thought. Because a concept of time equates to a concept of awareness. And not being aware of what was happening or not having any control over that or any conscious thought, I didn’t know from one event to the next what had happen before. So there was no continuity of thought and no continuity of time in my mind. So it was totally timeless to me. So much so that if I was completely physically exhausted by in one compartment of the brain that the next compartment of the brain had no conscious awareness of the exhaustion where it would be fresh and new again.

It can even move to that extent which is why my controllers used [it] on the US military because it gives them super, super human capabilities. It also allows for super human traits like 44 times more visual acuity. Because when there’s no conscious thought it’s as though the subconscious mind will develop heightened senses in other directions to make up for it. Much the same way a blind person has acute hearing. The brain will make up for it.
