Very funny bit on pressure cookers. I can just see all the little old ladies (my age) lining up with their canes and walkers to register for their pressure cooker approval. After that let them be D.C. lobbyists and wander the halls of Congress and ask each Congressman's office where the office is to sign up for their million dollar salary as a lobbyist. Maybe laughing at TPTB is what we need to do!

Good point! At least partially. And yes I see the humour and the ridiculousness of how governments try to deal with things. The only difference with guns, particulary ones that fire multiple rounds in seconds, are that guns are designed to kill things. Pressure cookers are designed to cook food.
