Hubbard invented nothing. The e-meter is nothing more than a stripped down variant of the polygraph except where a polygraph measures heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure and electrodermal activity, the e-meter measures electrodermal activity only (electrical conductivity of the skin reliant on moisture level). It was invented in the 1940s by a chiropractor named Volney Mathison (a fan of dianetics). The name on the patent application for the first e-meter was that of L. Ron Hubbard but according to Hubbard's son Ronald: "My father obtained the rights to the E-meter in1952 from Volney Mathison in the same manner that he does everything - through fraud and coercion." Hubbard's patent is for a modified version of Mathison's device that was developed by Scientologists Don Breeding and Joe Wallis in 1958.

At this point in time there is no empirical evidence that provides proof that this so-called miraculous piece of tech does anything more than measure whether you are “sweating” of not, and to what extent this is affecting the potential for electrical conductance of the skin. It can be used by a person who may or may not have innate psychic abilities, or an understanding of the human psyche to apparently “see” thoughts. One can imagine that the auditing process has made more than a few people sweat, and there are more than a few people who can read or see the thoughts of others without the aid of an expensive and fundamentally crude piece of equipment.

This is not my understanding of “miraculous”, and the e-meter was not invented by Hubbard, so I request the moderators change the name of this thread because it is misleading.


I already said the e meter is an ohm meter that measures a small portion of the resistance ... as for sweat and other factors like the person being processed there is sensitivity controls to determine how much read it should be getting whether they need to take some kind of lotion to get more connection and the auditor must be trained to know if the read is a casual squeeze of the cans or a real action .. there are marked 2 positions on the dial with an M and F .. 5000 ohms for a female body and 12,500 ohms for a Male body which are the reads you would get if the body was dead ... this is used to when an incident on the tract is erased the needle and dial will go down to male or female and float ... now .. as for authenticity
He was auditing people in the 50's who died .. and got a new body and they were picking up young 13 and 14 year old people and the usual lists that you could run on anyone and get reads were not showing up on these 13 and 14 year old kids because the were taken back and it was found they already ran these incidents in the 1950's and there are no reads on the meter ... if they didn't erase they should show up again these common reads everyone would get ... loke "pain in your elbow" "all pains in your foot"
you can make anything wrong because \you don't want to look .. doesn't mean it is not valid tech ... the thing is and why he hasn't been in communication with anyone here is .. at present time we do not have the instruments or the technology to clear everything in a spirit .. but understand this ... what gave him the idea of using an a meter anyway ??? he is being guided from the future and they are experimenting with all of this to try to find a way to salvage this place while they are observing what is happening . with the possess ... this time now has already happened ... we are doing it again to prevent an illegal alien invasion that not only effects this planet but the entire galaxy and more ...

we completed the work ... you just have to wait until they show up .... you can believe this or not but I am not asking anyone to believe me .. I am giving my story to see if anyone needs this data and anyone has a right to try to validate it with whatever means they think they can do it ... I already said .. this is all coming from perceptions I get .. but so many things in my life have happened again and again and again and again ... that even I have a herd time believing I did that .... I accept it because it continually happens from my thoughts .. so I can assume that I am the only real person here and everyone else is just my imagination in the mad dream ... or I can accept that my thoughts are happening.

So, another question from me. Can you be more specific what do you mean with: "to clear everything" . Can you specify, maybe in more detail what is "everything" ?

I asked trey why they did not run these commands on the time track of theta tapes ... he didn't know ... OT 8 is the completion of OT 7 ... means you can't get any read anywhere on anything ... the the OT 8 is a check to see if it is completed ... but if they never do the commands "who else is holding your aberatons in place?" .. then they are not even looking there and this means none of the auditing is done on these other viewpoints operating other bodies either on the planet or not .. it is an incomplete ... because if these other viewpoints are not cleaned and audited too ... then you will be connected to their abberations .. even though you don't get any reads on this viewpoint .. the fact they never let you know is amazing .. they even sell you the tapes ... but no one LOOKS ... This spirit can have viewpoints that are connected to entirely different kinds of aliens and alien bodies than the one we have here ... and we have NO IDEA what to run on them ... it has never been applied ...so even if David Miscavage may have all the notes or data on the upper OT levels ... he will never be able to run them ...they will not be able to duplicate them ... and I don't think LRH finished them ... the first time I came on the ship in long beach when LRH found out about me he sent people down to let me know he opened up 8 new OT levels ... and they personally sat with me and said, "we are glad you're here." means he knew I knew there were missing levels .. so he was just trying to acknowledge me .... but I don't think he finished them I think he left to go to the galactic government to handle the illegal things the reptilians were doing .. it is really the dracos and the renegade grays doing this together ... while he is gone they kill him ... because they know he knew and it was there chance to take over the church ... this is also why I think LRH didn't put these processes on any line up ... because he didn't want them to know what we were doing ... they probably, (if I assume his beingness) .. stuck some drugs in him ... it is reported he had 12 or more needle marks in his butt ... and tried to force him to complete these upper levels .. which is amazing ... the story free zone says and what I think .. is different .. he knew he was being infiltrated .... it is possible he went to go handle this at the galactic government... but I know he has other bodies that can do that so why would he do it himself ... and alter the upper OT levels so none of it will work .... Yes ... I got an acknowledgement from LRH just now ... he is some how in communication with me ... and i don't know how he did or I did that.. ... so that is true ... ok what else ... he already had a stroke in curacao so all they would have to do is the same things they did to Peter Gillliam to turn all his property over to them which peter gilliam is suing them for it now and also to his wife to turn over the estate left to her by LRH ... I think using vicious statements like how she got LRH into trouble with the snow white thing ... just everything they could throw at them and he has a stroke ... so then they probably went to gamble .. and try to figure out a way to cover it up ... and use the church to have the autopsy refused ... yes ...it was something like that ... they made a mistake and killed him... now I know what they said ... they said IRS is coming after him and he needs to turnover the church to them .. really intense accusations ... really upsetting him and he has a stroke ..ok ... so you can see the aberrations of one of my other bodies can pass over to me ... so how could you say if you don't get any reads anywhere you are are clean when trey can run a command saying "who else is holding your aberrations in place ) .. means only this viewpoint is clean not the others ..

be back in a few days ,,, it takes too long to answer all the post that don't contribute a thing to the game I played . it is just some persons own painful experiences ,,, I was in Australia in the scientology org there ,, we were being attacked all across the country ,, those up there in the secret service and IRS and their buddies had hired people to go into scientology and do a simple course and then say it messed them up mentally and hit us with punitive damage law suits into the billions that would shut us down worldwide ,,, we found people trying to implanted disinformation in the orgs and video taped them doing the conversations of how they will come into scientology and put false documents in our files and then they can come into our orgs and shut us down ,another example like when the largest FBI force of men ever to attack an organization in the world come to our doors with chain saws and take all our records to find anything marked snow white ,, but their warrant was invalid ,,, it was a general warrant and you can't give a general warrant it has to be specific and it has to say where the materials are and what they are to take ,, it can't be a warrant where they take everything ,,, they were ordered to take anything marked snow white ,, and snow white was a program we made to go into the government and find out why we are being attacked so much and we found that they had a program to hit people they regarded as enemies and put false records in the entire government system ., this means these false disinformation goes to all government officials and even the police ,, and we had proof they had a conspiracy against us ,,, so they were looking for the false disinformation documents they had put in the government system that would prove they are doing criminal activities to try to destroy us ,,, so this goes to court and the court wants to know why they are trying to find disinformation that they had put in all the government systems ,,.. I mean this is no crime of us ,,, they are trying to get the information that proves they had an illegal progam run against us ,,and in a general warrant why did you take everything and what does this advertisement of a frizby have anything to do with snow white,
so we were given a fine for stealing 50 dollars worth of xerox paper ,,, and so we filed suit to all the FBI agents and when Reagan gets in president he drops all the charges saying they were just working for the government

now the court cases they had on all these people who were coming into scientology doing a simple communication course and telling everyone it messed up their minds and we had all these punitive damage cases as a class suit in the billions and when the Portland Oregon court case came out with the verdict that the government actually had a conspiracy against us when we showed the tapes of a person who was talking to one of our members trying to get him to help him put all the false information in our files so they can attack thinking this scientologist was a defector and told us of names and phone numbers all the way up to the secret service and IRS and other agencies who only wanted to steal the entire scientology network for themselves ,, and they proved the phone numbers were valid we won the court case in oregon
and a supreme court judge pulled all of it down to Los angeles and dropped all the charges and all the charges against scientology on the punitive damage suits were dropped too and we demanded that the case not be dropped because we had proof of a government conspiracy it was refused.

what is coming now is coming from my perceptions ... I have felt LRH presence in the past so I do know the presence and it is here now ...which is a bit confusing because if I am he then I should know everything that he knows ... but the spirit Metteyya with different timelines means operating another body with a different thetan .. the thing is mettreyya the spirit knows all but that is what limits its ability to look into the physical universe because if it knows too much that part will be vanished ,,, so the memory records or knowingness must somehow be there ,, but the timelines or thetans operating other bodies have their own separate timeline of data ... I can't see them .. but maybe they can see me ... for example when cathy got in communication with her timeline on base 2 that timeline did not know there was another body operating on another planet ... and the LRH (not this LRH but from this planet but the metteyya viewpont there that might have a different name) ..there was her other timelines husband ... and he was not aware of this too but after some communication they now know ,.,., so the metteyya that is putting the bodies here ,,, might be metteyya herself and by opening up the connections by giving cathy a sec check (security check using the meter), let her see she had other time lines ,,, it was done on a sec check that she did not want to answer ,,, and my awareness of it was done asking the commands on the time track of theta tapes ... and maybe it wasn't done that well because I have no clear vision of those time lines ... maybe because it was the first time trey ask those commands ... but then there is the timelines in the future ... wow ... didn't look there before ,,, there are Metteyya viewpoints there ,.. but in the spirit ,,, or they have a make shift robot ... no they are not connected to robots there is another kind of labratory for creating GE's and programming them to operate stuff for them,,,,, ,,, looks like ,,,, that they run it exterior ... outside of body ... they have done something to protect their existence ,,, don't really know what it is .... they are creating the new spirit beings and programming them to do certain functions .... the indigos and crystal and rainbow is pulled somehow out of source in some other protected time portal hidden from view .... these time portals can protect them because they can see them trying to get through the time portal before it happens ... but reptilians have no ability to move their ghost and/or spirit through the portal ,..oh well there is no spirit for 80 or 90 percent .... so the ghost gets killed going through the portal ...... oh I get it ... these portals are setup to kill any GE that tries to come through it without first being approved .... something like that ... he wants me to tell something else ... don't know what ... it will probably come up later sometime .(ok he wanted me to tell the part about the portals can be setup to kill GE's that try to come through the portal).. anyway it isn't my intention to get in a battle with anyone here ,,, since youth I have always been so innocent of verbal abuse and I really don't know how to compete with it ...they would just end up making me look like the enemy so I really don't want to answer people's questions about some other persons ideas of some other tech I know nothing about or any of the attacks on scientology .. i don't know this because I haven't seen it myself ... I am here to share experience ... I never stopped someone from sharing their own experience ... but then I can say that is their experience ... not something they read ... you see I pick up intention .... I have a deft left ear that rings all the time .. and the right ear can't hear well on the higher frequencies .... so when they do roll call i miss my name every time ... because there is no intention there ... when a person reads a list he is not putting out an intention of the someone who he wants to find out if they are there ... so I miss the communication ... but if the intention is there I can hear them in the other room across the hall and answer the question and suddenly they say, "YOU CAN HEAR"

put me on the mainframe computers of the aircraft carrier USS constellation???? well in school I averaged 10 minutes a trouble ... and I had a chief petty officer there and he had 4 hash marks meaning he was there 16 years already and says he does A and B school of electronics technician .... well we are on a trouble and I find it in 10 minutes and I have to wait until he finds it ... so an hour or so later he says, "I got it I got it ... here it is. I said "no you don't ... you see this circuit with coils on it .. it starts and stops the pulse ... just move these 2 wires here and it should ;move the pulse back"
well I am just a technician and they are engineers
but 2 hours later they come up to me and ask me, "where are the 2 wires you talked about"
I showed them and they had to take the entire drawer out and open up all the screws on the back and move the 2 wires ..
put it all back together and the strobe pulse went exactly where it was suppose to go
this is just on a hunch

in the class at school the most brilliant student was on the computers for the entire day
someone comes up to me and says, "jim you better go down there and find the problem ... that genius can't find it"
I went down and found the problem in 10 minutes
the teacher said, "that is not the problem."
I checked again and said, "well you better look again ... "
he looked and says "that is not the problem we put in there"
they fixed it and I found the one they put in in another 10 minutes

what is coming now is coming from my perceptions ... I have felt LRH presence in the past so I do know the presence and it is here now ...which is a bit confusing because if I am he then I should know everything that he knows ... but the spirit Metteyya with different timelines means operating another body with a different thetan .. the thing is mettreyya the spirit knows all but that is what limits its ability to look into the physical universe because if it knows too much that part will be vanished ,,, so the memory records or knowingness must somehow be there ,, but the timelines or thetans operating other bodies have their own separate timeline of data ... they probably, (if I assume his beingness) .. stuck some drugs in him ... it is reported he had 12 or more needle marks in his butt ... and tried to force him to complete these upper levels .. which is amazing ... the story free zone says and what I think .. is different .. he knew he was being infiltrated .... it is possible he went to go handle this at the galactic government... but I know he has other bodies that can do that so why would he do it himself ... and alter the upper OT levels so none of it will work .... Yes ... I got an acknowledgement from LRH just now ... he is some how in communication with me ... and i don't know how he did or I did that.. ... so that is true ... ok what else ... he already had a stroke in curacao so all they would have to do is the same things they did to Peter Gillliam to turn all his property over to them which peter gilliam is suing them for it now and also to his wife to turn over the estate left to her by LRH ... I think using vicious statements like how she got LRH into trouble with the snow white thing ... just everything they could throw at them and he has a stroke ... so then they probably went to gamble .. and try to figure out a way to cover it up ... and use the church to have the autopsy refused ... yes ...it was something like that ... they made a mistake and killed him... now I know what they said ... they said IRS is coming after him and he needs to turnover the church to them .. really intense accusations ... really upsetting him and he has a stroke ..ok ... so you can see the aberrations of one of my other bodies can pass over to me .

he had a seizure and fell to the floor ... shaking ...so they had a chance to call some ambulance but it scared the life out of them
they had the autopsy refused so they wouldn't know all the other drugs they were putting in him.
then they ran with money they knew he had to gamble and get an alibi ... what do you do when you have something really bad happen ... you go gamble hopping for a miracle so you can leave the country
but they decided to come back and figure out a way they could say he belongs to the church and for religious reasons they don't want an autopsy done on him

no I got it ... ok well about the meter .. it seems they were doing everything they could to stop me from getting the training to let me go back and see my truth.
at Flag service org I started the meter course and was on it for a few days then I was pulled off and told I need to twin with a staff member not public ... they could only find one on the entire base of more than 300 staff and she comes one day .. then quits saying she had to get her statistics up ... ,,, so I don't have training on the meter or auditing ,,, I only know the little auditing they did on me and I could see how it works ,,.

I did my OT ability testing in 4 different organizations of their's and my postulates were senior in all 4 orgs ... so ... i had no idea what I was until I met cathy and she recognized me and she had an ability to see me or something in me or my spirit or whatever and both her and her friends thought I was another LRH in a different body .. the second friend right off the bat said ... LRH ... but we didn't have proof until I went to trey .I went to trey and on the question to check if i was him .... I had a blow down with floating needle though I didn't want to say yes ... but I did ... and blew down laughing for a long time ,, but I still couldn't believe it .. also trey would not have been able to ask these questions or do these processes if he was still at FSO .... so it must have really been strange for him to ask me if I am LRH ... and he could not hide the doubt in him until we did some more sessions and he cogged on something and shook my hand like for real when I left ...

so I don't know how to answer anyone's questions on the meter ... or auditing ... only the little I did ... I changed the idea to .. "god .. if I could only find some of these indigo or crystal or rainbow ... I think we can open them up with just the things I do in my space .. their beings can pick it up like I found in this rainbow over here in asia\
my postulates with her .. was almost instantaneous happen so quick I could almost see the being was getting it but the child wasn't

Thank you for pointing this out Wantsthetruth74, but most methodologies and paths say this. It's nothing new. This is not something I don't understand. I don't feel a lot of light coming out of the posts and I don't see anyone else actually saying: yes, this led to a great deal of spiritual growth in me, and I actually feel love pouring out of them via their post because yes you can feel highly evolved light.

When there is a lot of talk and not much compassion or love, I have my doubts. I have yet to see any quick fixes that work. I don't see a plethora of people coming out of this in a truly enlightened high state. They can claim to be in a enlightened high state, but that doesn't mean they are. People may change, but to what? And there is a lot of outward emphasis and not a lot of inner work going on.

My belief is that all of this drama going on is currently there for a reason--to awaken and transform people; the form it takes is superfluous. Choosing a path out of anxiety is probably not a good idea. Some Buddhists have so transcended and surrendered that they can burn alive without anxiety. I don't claim to be enlightened, although I am learning. : ) We are all at different stages of it. That said, I don't think love and light is the purpose of jiminiis journey here. Its to empower us to stop being prisoners in our own home. I don't know about you, that that is what I would like to see happen. Because in my opinion, life on earth sucks, from what I have experienced thus far, and its not exactly an environment suitable for breeding enlightenment. but we do the same .,, I could have decided to run the hurricane across the safe place of georgia and back out to sea instead of running it up the coast ... I don't feel a lot of light coming out of the posts and I don't see anyone else actually saying: yes, this led to a great deal of spiritual growth in me, and I actually feel love pouring out of them via their post because yes you can feel highly evolved light.

When there is a lot of talk and not much compassion or love, I have my doubts. I have yet to see any quick fixes that work. I don't see a plethora of people coming out of this in a truly enlightened high state. They can claim to be in a enlightened high state, but that doesn't mean they are. People may change, but to what? And there is a lot of outward emphasis and not a lot of inner work going on.

My belief is that all of this drama going on is currently there for a reason--to awaken and transform people; the form it takes is superfluous. Choosing a path out of anxiety is probably not a good idea. The pain is there for a reason, and what I see are a lot of people trying to find quick fixes that allow them to avoid the pain and anxiety. They are running like crazy from one quick fix to another to avoid pain. I still go with: The only way out of pain is through it.

My belief is that surrendering takes us to higher states. Enlightenment is an eternal process (we never arrive at an end point) going from one state to a higher state, and surrender is a part of that, going from more surrender to more surrender. Unfortunately, facing all that life/existence dishes out is a part of it, and work and persistence is also a part of it. And just like life is what IS, higher states come to us through work and patience and time and a divine grace and lifetimes, not through some quick fix. It's our egos that think: Oh, this, this is the one "miracle" fix that will deliver me out of my misery and I won't have to face this any more.

My belief is that Jesus and Buddha were trying to tell us that by facing trials (nailed to a cross/whatever) head on and surrendering, we can transcend (we are in a body on this planet for a reason), but I have yet to run across any high teachings that said there was an easy way out--and yes there are adulterated teachings, but discernment is a part of the process, too.

Some Buddhists have so transcended and surrendered that they can burn alive without anxiety. They certainly aren't going: "Ouch, ouch, oh ouch; I think I need to try something else besides Buddhism because I'm in a hurry, there must be a quicker way out of this pain." I'm laughing. Sigh. I don't claim to be in a highly enlightened state, and frankly, I could utilize my time better for my own growth because being on a forum doesn't necessarily make any of us candidates for a highly enlightened state. Because in my opinion, life on earth sucks, from what I have experienced thus far, and its not exactly an environment suitable for breeding enlightenment. I think that is the whole point of Jims mission. That is my interpretation of it anyway. I don't think he is here teaching enlightenment skills.

I also believe that surrendering takes us to higher states. My own experiences of higher steates have come through meditation or once, when I was getting a body massage.

I think some of the hardest spiritual work is seeing the value in every living thing and not getting caught up in the drama of the time frame in which you've arrived here.

I think the idea of 'saving the planet' or the human race, or whoever needs saving is seductive and possibly too physically based to be part of a spiritual path. The idea that 70 % of the earth population is of no worth (paraphrasing ) is disturbing. Those two ideas together seemed rather ego-based and somewhat elitist.

Reducing the effects of the ego on one's life opens the heart. Maybe thats why there's not much heart energy to be felt on this thread.

In fact, I'm only responding so there will be a variety of veiwpoints - variety is good :)

Yeah, I really haven't decided how to take the 70% comments. but my own opinion of the population, is that 85% (roughly) are not "equipped" (be through DNA, or there lack of it, or through brainwashing through TV and Chemically induced conceious coma). Thats different than being worthless IMO. The other 15% (or less) are not from here, or have had our DNA tweaked. And I even think it might be possible that if one can open their mind just enough to see but one worm escape from that proverbial can, then incoming "information" might even assist in the changing of our DNA. Who knows. Its really speculation at this point, but the fact is, we do live on a prison planet, and many of the people "tending fields" do NOT do it by choice.

if you have multiple timelines running other bodies from the same spirit with their own memories separate from the timelines .. that is I don't know the life experiences of my other timelines like those other bodies I am running they each have their own memories

the only one that has all the memories is the spirit himself

so to make a better definition you would have to say the thetan is one of the viewpoints of the spirit and has it's own memories
and the spirit has all the memories of all the viewpoints it can use to do whatever it does ...

and one more thing LRH separated the definitions of spirit to allow us to see there is 2 separate entities running the body

jim, this was in response to Turiya's not so positive feedback from an Osho guy providing the evidence that both LRH and Osho are talking of the same thing.

These are the definitions from LRH collected from various lectures, books and bulletins from before and up to 1975 and published in the Tech Dictionary.

I'll be very interested in his own answer because, as far as I am concerned, Osho is advocating the very premise of Scientology, the philosophy, since Scientology is an applied philosophy that has taken on the "religion" label because it deals with "theta"/"spirit"/spirituality which, by definition, is the domain of "religion":

Most individuals that attempt to simply sit down & meditate will come away with a very frustrating experience. They will instaneously see that the house (the head) is filled with maddening unpleasantries. And the body is unable to sit still because of this. Most will not want to look at how much insanity exists within themselves.

I do agree with some of the methods that are used in Scientology are quite similar to the cathartic therapies that Osho has used to clear the body-mind mechanism of its collected crap. These therapies are used in conjunction with periods of silent meditation. I don't know of any other mystic or mediation 'guru' that has combined these two things together.

The important thing to point out is that Osho's emphasis is on meditation - relaxing into one's own being. As one goes deeper into meditation, one will find that innate "gifts" - greater intuition, psychic abilities, opening of the third eye etc. - one will find arising out of this. One can certainly become distracted with these so-called gifts, but it is not to be considered an endpoint that meditation leads to. As long as their is a small drop of the ego that remains, such 'gifts' can be used for ego gratification & darker purposes. Absolute death of the ego is the ultimate endpoint, only then - when the 'I' of the ego is not, when 'you' are not, will the 'music' of Existence be able to be expressed through the body-mind mechanism.

That's the technical part of it, unfortunately there was the organization that came along with it, the "church," which is the part that screwed up everything. No qualms with that.

Become maturer and wiser spiritual beings, simply by consciously choosing to, and acting on it... and put your very own innate abilities to work for the betterment of all humanity...simply because you can and are much more able than you accept...accept your abilities in gratitude of realization now and use them with wisdom and love. You are 'highly' capable.

Yes, but that seems to run counterproductive... to associate it, and to call it "The Church of Scientology". He seemed to be intent on establishing Scientology as an 'established religion'. At least he should have been aware of the conflict that would arise with this. Perhaps he would have been better off calling it "The Yoga of Scientology". ;)

I do understand LRH's purposes for calling it a "Church", since the AMA & the Psychology/Psychiatrist Organizations & possibly the FDA were in 'hot' pursuit of closing his instiution down. But these same agencies have never bothered with going after 'Yoga' Organization & Institutes. Seems he should have had some insight or foresight as to where this would end up going.

from these definitions you can see if we use the definition of thetan is the spirit
then viewpoint is a point he views from

in the time track of theta tapes LRH says a thetan can operate more than one body

therefore .. it must have more than one viewpoint ...
and each viewpoint has it's own individual track
and it's own individual memory banks

that is how I see it ... if we are operating more than one body
