warning, another incredible tearjerker, with a happy ending. I just had to share it. Turn the sound down if you really don't want to cry.

I have watched this youtube video over 30 times since January 2013, and every time this video still brings tears to my eyes! That's unconditional love and trust right there, from the people who cared for her and from Fiona herself!

awsome, keep up the good work! i have helped many dogs get rescued along the way ,i also still have 2 doggies i have that were rescue doggies, i have helped many doggies in my travels, along with burying a few dogs that i found dead along the side of the road that no one stopped to help once they hit them with their vehicles, shameful just shameful , at least i gave those a decent burial if no one thinks they deserve it, i do, i watched that movie about the sled dogs that got left behind in the arctic when the guide had to be air lifted out because of injury, the movie starred paul walker as the guide and it was told from a true story, a friend of the guide said it is important to honor the dogs for their life and their spirit, so few people live their lives with inegrity , honor, dignity and self respect any more, what is this world coming to? peace, dennis

My little brother, 42 years old now, has adopted a dog that was wandering around his house in a very rainy day and cold.
It was supposed to be temporary, but he failed to return it to the street.
Physically the dog is severely mistreated, I think the hard life she must have had over the years. The vet believes it already has over 10 years of age.
Days ago, my brother talking to me said that the dogs could speak or write, we would probably have the books with stories of lives harder and sad that we could imagine.
I agree with him. But I also believe that we would hear beautiful stories of love and courage.

Oh my God, that did make me cry.

I have a feral cat colony in my back yard. Some of the cats that show up are abandoned. One cat that showed up looked like he'd been burned. He had no ears, little long wisps of fur. He laid under my orange tree and when I tried to bring him food and water, he would run. He looked so close to death. He was the ugliest most pathetic cat I'd ever seen. And I've seen some.

Within a few weeks he was showing up for mealtime with the other ferals. I started giving him his own dish so i could treat him with antibiotics in his food. He had a terrible respitory infection, amongst other problems.

We named him van gogh.

All the cats have warm beds in my carport. 10 different beds plus chairs with fleece blankets on them. One day i went out and he was slepping in a little pink princess bed. so funny.

However, he had no bladder control and i had to wash any bed he slept. In the summer he slept in the dirt with flies on him :(

He loved his home here, and he loved the other feral cats. He would run up to them and rub on them, so happy. They tolerated it (Ha!) You could tell he was just a little too weird for them to be comfortable with him. I couldn't believe he continued to hang on.

He was with us for a year. A happy and safe year for him.

Over a period of a couple weeks he went blind in both eyes. One morning I went out and he tried to 'talk' to me...urgently. He must of had vocal vord damage because the sound he made was raspy and ragged. I knelt down and he let me pet him for the first time! He 'talked' to me for a few moments and then walked away.

I never saw him again.

I think he was trying to say goodbye.

There are so many abandoned and feral cats in this city, it is truely an epidemic. Its amazing how much love and connection an animal is capable of when treated well.

May all animals one day find their home.

Thank-you to all the animal angels out there who work to decrease their suffering.

I once tamed a feral cat too. It was a tiny little thing , a month old maybe, survived on the seeds that got missed by the birds under the feeder. I started putting food out for him long story short, 8 months later I got to pet him for the first time. He was flea and tick ridden, and had "cat fight" scars all over his face. Got him fixed up at the vet.... His name was persistence. He lived a long happy life.
