Right now on Animal Planet there is a new show called "Mermaids the New Evidence". So far they've shown some extremely convincing videos. I highly recommend checking it out.

edit: Forgot to mention they're playing it all night.

This is fiction.

Are you sure? It's not being presented as such. What makes you say it is fiction?

There is lots of evidence throughout history in regards to Mermaids. There is more water than land currently and we are still discovering different life in the oceans. I have always loved the ocean and there's something very spiritual about it.

Is not, they're have been bodies of them carted off by the MIC.
They were using sonar and disturbing their areas of habitat in the Pacific.

I have not seen the new one, but I can tell you that the tribe was driven to the water during battle and every time they tried to get back on shore, the warring tribe would fight them back to try and drown them. Year and years they had to cling to sea caves and live off the sea, and eventually over evolutionary process of constantly hunting and swimming they developed their flippers again. Whales have been known to associate with them and are effected by the military sonar also.

If they weren't real, why would military industrial complex be carting off the bodies?

Hmmm.....
Check all before making the decision on what's real and what's not, especially in "this" matrix web of lies and deceit.

¤=[Post Update]=¤

Yes, that's the one I saw, and the witnesses that found it on the beach, thought at first it was a seal carcass?

Then the mic(who told em) came and blocked the people with cameras and took the body away.

Why couldn't mermaids exist?

Don't feel like a chump! Lots of fact is presented as fiction, and vice-versa.

This documentary is actually a "mockumentary".

It was already posted here on Avalon many times before.

Mermaids: The Body Found is a docufiction piece that originally aired on May 27, 2012, on Animal Planet and June 17 on Discovery Channel. It tells a story of a fictional scientific team's investigative efforts to uncover the source behind mysterious underwater recordings and an unidentified marine body. The show uses the aquatic ape hypothesis as "evidence" that mermaids exist, along with a digitally manufactured video. A sequel broadcast called Mermaids: The New Evidence aired May 26, 2013.

Yes it is. I was having a tough time with energy and storms coming two weeks ago. Knew something big was coming, but didn't know where.(OK) It's still going on.

Anyway, I kept flowing with what seemed to be unfinished sentences of thoughts. I needed to get to water to relax my mind and get quiet with God's natural sedative, water. The waves hitting the shore at the river, and the quiet sounds of bugs and birds was wonderful. I went fishing as the box was low on protein, just starches in the house.

I caught 2 nice Striper bass thigh long off the bridge after walking the shore for about 30 minutes in communion with nature.

Water is one of the many blessings we have for depression. it helps to clear the mind.

The subject is no different than the UFO phenomena. Some believe they exist, and some don't. Depends on what page you are on in your life book of evolution and mind growth.

Some people are stunted because of programmed fact presented by those who would make you think UFO's don't exist.

What makes you think, that they have not kept this secret also, when there are known pictures on stone in India showing a "Fish/Merman God"

Jeesh...have an open mind that you haven't been told the truth about everything. It works to allow other information come in. If you block one thing because of 3D belief, you'll block others.

Not good for your growth.

Seamen of all centuries have reported Mermaid sightings. I don't doubt anything that may have been hidden. If seamen have been reporting for millennia on it, I'll take that as evidence, over any videos today. Most of the hidden truth, is not hidden, just debunked.

I was guided here because I do question things they say aren't true, and am a witness to UFO in 1982 in JULY on the 13th with 30 people.

I was skeptical until that point and thought my connection to nature/green thumb and animals/they all come to me, was a little kooky. But it was not and up until the sighting did I begin to quest for ALL truth hidden. Been at it that long. Never belonged to any cult. I communicate with those who also "notice things. We have to have someone to talk it over with. Sure can't ask OUR government, because the ones on the DEM side have NEVER been in the loop, because IF we knew tax R&D money was going to Boeing, Halliburton, Skunk works or other, WE would have demanded accountability as KENNEDY did. They can't assassinate US all.

unfortunately the show last night kind of walks on the edge of real and possibly real for me, its like the documentary's i have seen in the last that are real have just a bit more " real time" element to them, but it comes real close to looking like a real documentary, it just lacked a tiny bit of something to make it totally believable, do i think its possible for them (mermaids) to exist? sure why not, stranger things have happened and still do , peace, dennis

No need to feel chumpy! I've always enjoyed the images and lore of the mermaid. Perhaps it's due to being born on the summer solstice, between an air and a water sign and to me the mermaid represents this rather well. In sea faring myths the mermaid was mistaken for the harbour seal. Also, there is the story of the siren, a passage of humanity that many must go through that is rather significant in literature in many cultures.

From the Heart,
Kristin

Hi ShamanShredder!

Noooo need to feel like a chump! You know what I did? I sent PMs to the automated geo-earthqake thread poster, when it is a software program ... not a member doing the posting lol.

I'll edit the title to include the word mockumentary, so people have a better idea what this thread is about.

I just tried looking into the Dr on the documentary last night. The website below has been seized by the department of defense. Why would the government seize a website? A Mermaid website? Why would they have any interest on this subject? The PTB only seize what they want to remain hidden from the public.

Another site by the Dr. Paul Robertson seized by DOJ

So far there seems to be no evidence that mermaids exist, and if they did they would look very different to the slim. long-haired elegant creatures of legends, and more like seals and manatees. Stumpy, with layers of blubber and bald, or possibly covered with fur. It is freezing in the depths and they would need the insulation. There would be others differences too.

That mockumentary is well done, but the actors and producers are the same people as actors in other TV programs. However it challenges us, and makes us think and debate our unique humanity.

I for one think this is real, the documentary and this weekends show had new film footage from a few different sources, one in Israel, Another off the scandanavian coast with a research group that was doing exploration for oil drilling. These individuals were also told to keep quiet about there experience. Another sighting was the british rescue team was doing a nighttime practice in the seas and it appears a mermaid swam in front of them as well all caught on film.

With all the tales of the giants that use to be here and some may still be here , bigfoot who I believe walks in and out of other dimensions like walking around your house and to the seas where now there is evidence of mermaids . Why not ? I have my big toe in for this one and say yes this is real.

Reminds of Rudyard Kipling story, of how the elephant got it's long trunk. Entertaining propaganda as fiction, to maintain the underlying subliminal theme of Darwinism, a freemason counter culture movement that was attempting to undermine the Roman Vatican control system of it's time (before they ultimately infiltrated them under one Satanic power seeking agenda). It then evolved (excuse the pun) into a political agenda to be instituted into the university and school systems, (another freemason feeding trough). What do you expect, who else would fund something that looks like a 're-enactment' of 'possible past' in the form of a National Geographic special as a substitute for lack of anything more substantive to present... kind of like "I can't believe it's not butter!" products... It looks like butter, (almost) tastes like butter, but it's not! ... but oh so satisfying to the tastebuds!

They should make a mockumentary about the Piltdown Man. One of the biggest events to push the 'Darwinian' movement into the mainstream education system... ;)

Hi. I wanted to add something to this thread. It seemed pretty obvious to me when this film titled, "Mermaid The Body Found" first aired why it was created. Also standing out to me was that a lot of money went into it's development. But upon pondering why someone would go to this expense to create a fakeumentary in main stream that was so good it caused many to inquire and ask over and over about it and if it was legit or not to the point some of the sources cited had to come out and deny it for folks. I think it was then that it dawned on me that there can only be one reason for this really, and it was not sonar testing or to bring attention to it but simply for plausible deniability! This film will now become a tool to discredit 'future proofs' and by that I mean anything shown now as proof of something, no matter if it is about UFOs. aliens, Bigfoot or six inch aliens will be shot down by tie backs to this film in reference to show just how convincing a fake can be! They will point out how it contains apparent data and and witnesses and all the works so that no matter how convincing the proof this film will now be a tool to shoot it down.

It does but when you inquire with Discovery or anyone at the NOAH or whatever they called the national service involved, they deny it flatly saying it is simply entertainment. I suggest its more about plausible deniability for future evidences brought out before they are wanting to reveal them. In a way this film is a thermostat to control the reveal if there actually will be a reveal of any kind. Some say its going on now but honestly does everyone forget that Von Braun's warning about the agenda and alien invasion and all fake? Steve Greer is either in on this fakery or he is in the dark being mislead into believing this stuff.

I've noticed no one has posted the video, so here it is. Better watch fast they may take it down.
The description below was taken from the New York Daily News (see source for more). Check out the joking by the News. Looks like the episode did very well.

Mermaids: The New Evidence 'Nets ratings record for Animal Planet — but smells fishy to critics'

Special reels in 3.6 million viewers and, seemingly, almost as many complaints from skeptics.

Animal Planet has fished out some great ratings from its ‘Mermaids’ specials, but critics are skeptical about the program’s informational content.
Animal Planet reeled in a heck of a catch.
The telecast of “Mermaids: The New Evidence” — a special that examined the plausibility of the existence of the mythological creatures — drew 3.6 million viewers, an all-time record for the cable network.

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x10hkcf_mermaids-new-evidence_news#.UauUDir5w6g

The show also drove Animal Planet to the No. 1 slot in the key demographic among 25- to 54-year-olds.
And the ripple effect is being felt across social media platforms, where “Mermaids” is still a trending topic. One and a half million streams of Mermaids-related video has surfaced online since Sunday’s telecast, according to the network’s figures.

“The phenomenon of 'Mermaids' has truly been a watershed — and a water cooler — moment for Animal Planet," network president Marjorie Kaplan said in a statement.

Not everyone, however, bought the televised fish tale hook, line and sinker.

The special is a sequel to last year’s controversial “Mermaids: A Body Found” special that hinted at a hidden truth to a subject that mainstream scientists have long ago debunked. Much of the supposed footage in both specials has since been debunked as essentially hoaxes.

“No evidence of aquatic humanoids has ever been found,” the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said in a statement after last year’s special.
