Medical
Zeolite-based oxygen concentrator systems are widely used to produce medical-grade oxygen. The zeolite is used as a molecular sieve to create purified oxygen from air using its ability to trap impurities, in a process involving the adsorption of nitrogen, leaving highly purified oxygen and up to 5% argon.
QuikClot brand hemostatic agent, which is used to stop severe bleeding contains a calcium-loaded form of zeolite.
Biomedical applications of zeolites include their use as detoxicants and decontaminants, as vaccine adjuvants, and as antibacterial agents. They are also used for delayed release drug delivery, as antitumor adjuvants, as antidiarrheal agents, in hemodialysis, to improve bone formation, and in the treatment of diabetes mellitus.
Zeolites are used as nutritional supplements. Some clinoptilolite-based dietary supplements have demonstrated antioxidant activity in humans.

MMS or silver will not take the toxins, but the bacteria out…
If I would be in a similar situation, then I would first try to get rid of the bacteria and then detox. That I would do by using first MMS therapy and then Zeolith powder therapy.

Horrizons, how has it worked for you? Have you been taking it long and what have you noticed from using the product?
Thanks
Ki

I have only used one jar so far - but I also use their other products - But I do fell better than I have in a long time. I will continue to use this on a daily basis as I do work in somewhat toxic environments. This is a long term use type of product, the more you use it the better it is for you. I trust the company as well.

How often per day and how many grams do you use...?

I take one Tablespoon every morning, and if I feel some exposure to a toxin has taken place I take another at night. I would take more, but with everything else I use it can get expensive.

I'd like to open this one back up with a few questions.
I've been taking the NCD (Original) liquid Zeolite for about 3 weeks with excellent results, however I concur that it is expensive.
From what I have read, what allows it to work so effectively is the molecule size of <.9 microns. As I understand, powdered zeolites tend to have a molecule size of 4-5 microns, but in order for zeolites to penetrate organic tissue they need to be 2.5 microns or less.
Is any of this true and/or accurate? I have been unable to find micron sizes of powdered zeolites. Can anyone offer any information on this?

According to Wikipedia
Zeolites are microporous, aluminosilicate minerals commonly used as commercial adsorbents...194 unique zeolite frameworks have been identified, and over 40 naturally occurring zeolite frameworks are known.[
Zeolite nanoparticles may be a different story, though. Recall that concerns have been raised about titanium nanoparticles in sunscreens penetrating the skin and ending up in different organs to cause trouble later. I haven't yet found articles which look into the risks of zeolite nanoparticles, though nanoparticles are slowly appearing in our food:

Ingesting zeolite in larger size particles is not much different from ingesting kaolin (clay), a product used for many years to stop diarrhea.

can some one direct me to any data showing what zeolites remove? I'd like to see some urine or stool sample analysis.

Bumped.
Im investigating this now. Most of the health leaders that I trust have recommended it.
Does anyone know that best place to buy these on ebay? Should be much cheaper than a prepared product...
Thanks.
