View Full Version : What are the best things in living on Earth?

This world is a total crazy mixture, also thanks to our presence on it.
There is nature, so harmonized and balanced, integrated, on its own cycles..
There's the planet itself full of everything necessary for us all to live..
And there are the human beings, a strange thing created suddenly, put here, a being that interfer on nature's rhythms, creates its own padrons, breaks nature's original programs.
But how many wonderful thinks we're able to create! How far our imagination goes! And our endless learning hability, defying our own limits, expanding our visions...
I imagine we mirror a part (or totally) of what our creators are.
I never stop marveling on our infinite talents, as well as our ignorance and rebellious nature that many times only separates ourselves from our essences.

My purpose here is to talk about all the best qualities we're able to have and how we're able to create incredible things/situations.

I think the experience itself of living on earth is such a gift that its invaluable, the issue is that most folk don't look at their lives that way and then their lives are full of confusion,i think the school of life is such an amazing tool to polish ourselves so we can learn about our weakness and better understand our true nature wich is being human, the learning process can be slow and painful sometimes to most of us,its a long road and for the most majority of us takes many many lives to start to grasp what being here is all about.Life is a precious gift we presented ourselves with,we asked to come here it was our choice to be here at this moment of pain suffering and division,so make the best out of it and enjoy the ride, because no matter how you look at it in the end its well worth it !

Our compassion for strangers. When I am lucky enough to experience the joy someone has received from a total stranger, the look in their eyes allows me to see into their soul, for it has been opened through kindness of others.
This never ceases to amaze me. We are very compassionate beings, and withholding this compassion does us harm. Compassion is in our nature, not just for our fellow humans, but for all living entities. We are not meant to ignore anyone who may be suffering more then ourselves, and I see more compassionate people around me now, then I ever have.
We are amazing, we are strong, and we will pass this lesson with flying colors! :cheer2:

I think one of the best things is that every single second is a precious gift... to spend exactly as we choose.
It's all choices in the end. Most of them not easy ones, but choices nonetheless. In choice there is learning.
I would fill Avalon with threads like this if I could... It serves as a constant reminder to me, that every false video, every false testimony, every fear raised in vain is time lost that will never be regained.
Why not instead choose to spend our 'awareness' focusing on the beauty of humanity, the importance of community and what we mean to each other.
The only disclosure I feel we need is 'We don't get out of this alive...'. None of us. there is no preparation or escape from that absolute fact.
So how wonderful instead to breathe in that beautiful landscape and the scenery of our lives as we pass through it. Experience everything fully as we can. And be glad to be alive. For it is still a wonderful gift, in spite of its hardships.
Blessings on us all.

yeah, eternity is kinda boring. I miss it in ways that those who do not recall it cannot understand... and I have to remind myself that limitations can be fun as well. Perspective..and value. The highs are higher and the lows are lower, here. Not a better circus ride to be found. That's what keeps us coming back. Inter-dimensional Drama Queens. Everyone's got a habit! What a blast, what a rush!
Anson recalls having to deal with guiding spirits into the light and she nearly looses it when she has to be that close to the light. At least at first. I have to be in their heads when they go to the light. Ouch! Thus forgetting can be a good thing.....sometimes.

The earth is a very beautiful place.
It's those beaches and sundowns that 'do it all' for me. I live for those yet I have not, in this life, lived close enough to the water to enjoy them. Anytime I'm close enough to get to 'big water', I go to it...and stand there... for hours.

None I can think of.
I have looked at this place and I have seen a corpse.
I'm not depressed (at least, I don't think I am)- I'm just doing my time, making the moves, going through the motions, wondering what the hell is the point and trusting that there is one.
This may sound acutely depressing for some - but I know that this is just a shadow world. I wrote this yesterday and if you're not sharing the same zone with me, then it may sound a tad suicidal -which it's not:
"Release me.
For I am heartily sick of this small self that entraps me,
Of this dead existence that most call living.
Free me of this physical prison moving this tiny self through these monotonous motions.
Monotonous play.
Monotonous lessons.
What I have learned is that I am done with this ghastly death,
Done with this artificial life.
I want to go home."
I know there are many beautiful things on earth - but it is also filled with so much horror and cruelty and depravation. So may lives hurting and destroying other lives - it's just so very sad and so stupid.
Hmmm, maybe I am depressed after all - but for a bl**dy good reason. :-)

i love this post...mainly cause you can create what ever you want...it may not menafest it self when you want it but it will come forth..it certainly has for me...im concerned about the other poeple who to say are caught up in the mainstream matrix of going to work eatinf\g popping on the tube lol....for mr the road les traveled has created some wonderfull paradigms...just for instant birth is beauty...my daughter i just found out that she is going to have a child.this is true beauty in its fullest....plus im going to be a grand dad...my intuition tells me my grand child wil be a indigo child...avolon is beauty and a place full of abundance if you look for it...these are great times we live ...our generation has seen more thing than any other human being would see in five thousand years....i try not to focus on the media and tv just flat out dont watch it ...i can go outside and see mother earth and her boutyfull gifts and they are thier ....we just have to open our eyes and heart to see the wonder and amazement just from mother earth.....love light and abundance thirdeye......

I could give some long drawn out hype as an answer but I will stick to what I know.
Emotions and death, emotions are the schooling of life in preparation for death. All the good ones such as happiness and sadness , the love in a Childs eye , that deep down feeling of being loved and needed, the beauty that nature impresses on your soul. All the good things your life has taught you are amplified way beyond belief upon death and it goes with you all those good memories. All you learn and do now is preparation for a more intense mind blowing life after death. Earth is but a stepping stone of life.

Hello Teakai
Please do not be so downhearted; we all have times like these and when feeling at a low point sometimes the only way is up ... I am reminded of a short verse which I paraphrase here: Two men in a prison dark one sees only bars the other more enlightened and looks towards the stars. I would just like to say that there are many on this forum who would be delighted to call you a friend – me for one – there are some very beautiful people on Avalon and I am sure you will find them in time.
All my love and peace to you. JP
