This is beyond bizarre; what does Matt Drudge know? In the wake of Glenn Becks forthcoming announcement that ‘will bring down the US Government, read into Drudge’s tweets as you will. Is Drudge some sort of prophet? Watch the two videos below, one from Christopher Greene, and determine that yourself. He’s certainly WAY ahead of the ‘game’.

Drudgereports’ Matt Drudge and his ominous tweets – What does he see coming? Matt’s twitter account is here to verify: https://twitter.com/DRUDGE

In the last few weeks, Matt Drudge has come up looking like a prophet when he both warned us that ALL communications are being monitored, before the Edwards Snowden NSA leak, as well as stating that very soon, the internet was going to ‘destroy’ mainstream media as shared in the 2nd video below from Christopher Greene of Greenewave TV.

Warning: before you start stroking Matt Drudge's...um, ego...see: Glenn Beck & Michael Savage.

Do some homework. What is the "Drudge Report"? How long has it been around, when did it start getting "prophetic"? What is the agenda? And what other sensational stuff has appeared there?

Be wary. I'm not saying that no truth could ever appear there. I'm just sayin'

I would like to point out that Snowden was by no means the first whistleblower to come forward to report that all our communications are being monitored.

There were several before him. Just recently during the fiasco in Boston a guy from one of the 3 letter agencies admitted they could go back and retrieve all the communications the two brothers ever had. There was also another guy who provided detailed information on how all our phone calls were tracked & recorded.

I think YOU need to do some Homework...:pound:

Question for you...

What is the No.1 Alternative Media and probably the oldest and most trusted internet website in the world..?

I joined Linkedin to get a document readable/accessed.
I gave none of my details apart from e mail and name--I avoided every profile question.
Two days later I got an e mail with four possible contacts.
I have not had contact with them for 6 years and that time I lived in another town ---I did not have the same e mail address.
I had no reason to e mail any of them so I did not.
I did text them or phone them on my mobile. One I did not have on mobile but I did land line call them once and the phone was in my then partners name not mine.

I am amazed----Im not bothered---just surprised.

Chris

I posted that elsewhere but it is relevant here.
One time I had a bit of financial difficulty on a credit card.
I changed address three times after that and frankly forgot all about it.

Three years later I went to Orange mobile for a special deal--I was refused--no reason given.
I asked a credit agency for a rating and three days later got a threatening letter re the the money owed on the credit card which was quite a small amount.
Either the credit agency was accessed by the card people or Orange passed on the info/my address.
I am with now with another mobile company and there was no problem.
There are no personal secrets these days, nor has there been for a long time

Doesn't "being #1", make it not "alternative" anymore?

I'm old enough to rememeber it was the site where the right wing shock jocks got their "talking points" from during the W administration...

If Drudge is the "most trusted" site in the world for "news" these days, that explains a lot of the problems...

I'm not arguing though. Trust it. Apparently the rest of the "alternative internet news" reading consumers do. I guess that's good enough for you...

I have had a lot of that happen too ...suggesting facebook friends for me when the only way they could connect me to them is that their email is included in a mass email my husband receives! not even one he actually sends! that always freaked me out

Now I know this site is (or was, haven't kept up) as far "left" as Limbaugh is to the right, but to me, liberal/lefty politics were always a little more "service to others" and more concerned with trying to get truth out rather than winning arguments, as I would characterize the "right" at that time in our recent history. This is just ONE example, which should be pretty easy to fact check: DAILY KOS (http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/02/16/93152/-Is-Matt-Drudge-a-Gannon-quot-client#) ON DRUDGE'S "HANDLING" OF JEFF GANNON (remember him (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Gannon)?)

So if this is the alternative news source you trust the most, I wonder what kind of homework you do? I spent that past decade consuming every news item, then usually actually reading the bills and watching CSPAN to find back up, that came down the pike in the mainstream and "alternative" news sources. About halfway through, I learned to get more information from those I disagreed with, listening to endless hours of right-wing radio and following Drudge and Fox and such...before realizing I was just consuming the grandest most expensive "reality show" in existence: US NATIONAL POLITICS.

I swore of the crap once I realized how little of my actual reality it directly effected, and how the effects it did have were not at all like what the teevee and radio was presenting. I am contributing to these threads only because I have seen so much of these people (Drudge, Beck, etc.) to realize that even if they have had some dramatic change of heart and actually now care about people and freedom and such, that they have been part of the propoganda machine for long that it is silly to assume that they have any sort of freedom.

...now if all of a sudden Drudge is crushed or has a heart attack or they find kiddie porn on his harddrive or something, there might be something worth taking a look at, but as long as he's freely operating, you can bet like William said that there's "taint", like on all the rest of the info we receive...

Matt Drudge, over the years, has shown himself to be nothing more than a right wing muck-raker that seizes on or creates rumours that serve his agenda. He is no more credible than FOX "News" at the best of times, and is often worse in his shrill cries for the blood of his perceived enemies. He is only as powerful and as prescient as his followers believe him to be. Although this can be said for any "prophet", Matt Drudge's pronouncements are not to be believed by those who want honest, straightforward information; his claims are a smudge of smoke on the wind.

I have never trusted any news source implicitly... It is obvious that even those sources who try their best to reveal the truth can be mislead.

The issue is how YOU filter the information that you receive... from whatever source...

Do we really need tweets from alternative media personalities to see that things are getting bad in the US?
