'The Met Office is to hold an emergency meeting of experts to discuss the increasingly
unusual weather in the UK, it has been reported. It follows the coldest spring in more
than 50 years, as well as droughts and floods in 2012 and the freezing winter of 2010.
Climate scientists and meteorologists will travel to the forecaster's headquarters in
Exeter on Tuesday for the unprecedented meeting, the Guardian said.'

The Military's Mystery Machine - Haarp Weather Modification Technology *update* why
this cuts out .. not sure. *uploaded* part 2 -- see videos to continue ...
A short documentary on how Haarp operates using concentrated radio waves on the
ionosphere to affect weather and as many believe--start earthquakes. Haarp stands for:
High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. Haarp is located in Gakona, Alaska
and researcher and author Nick Begich refers to it as "Military's Pandora's Box".

It's been reported too by many authors working with
chakras and higher energies that HAARP could very likely
be an orchestrated attempt to keep earth's frequencies
on a low cycle to hold people (and the earth) down in consciousness{?}

The weather has been so unusual over the past few years that the Met Office is
concerned that the repercussions of climate change may already be upon us.
The forecaster is concerned by a sequence of increasingly strange weather in the UK,
which includes the coldest spring in 50 years this year, the wettest summer in a century
last year, as well as droughts and the prolonged winter. It has called an unprecedented
meeting of experts to discuss Britain and Europe’s increasingly unpredictable weather
patterns in a bid to determine if the they represent a fundamental shift as a result of
climate change or simply come down to variable weather.

Climate scientists and meterologists will travel to the Met Office’s headquarters in
Exeter on Tuesday for the summit, which will be chaired by Stephen Belcher, Head of
the Met Office Hadley Centre.

Mr Belcher said: “We have seen a run of unusual seasons in the UK and Northern
Europe, such as the cold winter of 2010, last year’s wet weather and the cold spring this year.

“This may be nothing more than a run of natural variability, but there may be other
factors impacting our weather. For example, there is emerging research which suggests
there is a link between declining Arctic sea ice and European climate – but exactly how
this process might work, and how important it may be among a host of other factors,
remains unclear.“The Met Office is running a workshop to bring together climate experts
from across the UK to look at these unusual seasons, the possible causes behind them,
and how we can learn more about those drivers of our weather.”

The meeting comes after the National Farmers' Union reported that wheat harvests are
likely to be around 30% lower than last year as a result of the extreme weather over
winter, making it the second below-average harvest in as many years.

Beekeepers have also reported that a third of honeybee colonies failed to survive the
winter following last year's wash-out summer and continuing bad weather into 2013,
exacerbated by the late arrival of spring.

While they're at it, they might as well also start using the right stuff to clean up the Gulf of Mexico instead of the toxic rubbish they're pouring into the sea, to get the Gulf Stream going again, bringing warm weather to Europe and the northern hemisphere. That would go a long way, but I doubt either of those are going to be on the agenda. I'll bet a fiver that the blame is going to be put on badgers or some nonsense like that

Nah, even though the machine has been used since Vietnam, they will blame it on President Obama.

Scapegoat President of the United States of the American People, NOT corporate UNITED STATES OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE.

So it's in Alaska, and it shoots heat in the air, and people are wondering why the ice is melting in the North why?

Because as long as they've had it, they've speeded up the process for offshore oil drilling contracts. Russia and US. If they would have given the people a chance to store some of the chunks of ice in drought areas, it would have been nice, but as usual, the big corp middle finger elites, just point at what they want, and sign the check.

Bye bye pristine waters.

As usual, the Fox-owned History Channel only tells half the story (forgive me if I'm wrong here, just can't bother to watch anything on the History Channel). It's not only in Alaska, there are MANY outposts around the world to increase its effectiveness and achieve a truly global reach, being able to affect weather and quaky things around the world on every continent... Let your imagination go wild on what it could do... It's worth it and you can't be too cynical in that respect, honestly

I agree soulboy- (first post). The Gulf Stream is, if not broken, damaged, and, since Britain is on the same latitude as Moscow the warm current that warms the UK has been disrupted.

Personally I feel that HARP is a huge red herring in this particular case. The weather is changing, and the warming was always going to, paradoxically, cool the Gulf Stream, (something to do with salinity and warm water (I think) sinking) and thus the UK would be cooler too. The Gulf accident just emphasised what would probablly happened anyway, but over years, not so quickly.

What a good thing for BP that HAARP, in this case, is a ready made scapegoat! And then- there's always the badgers!

I don't think Alaska would be having anything to do with England's weather, especially if these systems are designed to target specific geographic location, but who's to say that Russia or China are experimenting with similar technology in this constant global tit for tat, that is spreading everywhere you look. Push will soon become shove, everyone is investing a lot of expectation on the future. And we all know what that means...

The UK's weather has been so strange recently that today
the country's top experts have been meeting at the Met
Office to try and find out what's going on.
