View Full Version : Russell Brand handles MSM!

This is fun, interviewers try to do a hatchet job on Russell which backfires.

He may be mad (in a good way) but he's sharp.

I really enjoy Russell. He's a lot sharper than people think he is, though a bit confrontational, still someone I'd love to talk with.

I wonder how he came up with the term "Messiah complex" ;)

I had mixed feelings about Russell after he took part in the Olympics opening ceremony. He must have known what it's all about, really. Then he broke up with Katy Perry, the dummy who openly talks about sellilng her soul to the devil and all that jazz - good move... I heard about that without following any tabloid media or any other media... I know... I wish I could remember how I found out while staying away from TV and papers and all that... Still a miracle to me even...

Then he had Laura Eisenhower (mad person that she is), Icke and others on his show, giving them a mainstream platform, which is great, so he's in my good books again.

Also, he propagates vegetarianism, spirituality, the Vedas, consciousness, ends his shows with the words "Hare Krishna" and provides a positive role model to the younger generation (as in someone who is articulate and uses words most 18 year-olds have never even read about and is sort of an intellectual guy) which is GREAT... And his autobiography is quite hilarious, too.

Keep it up, Russell!!!

Edit:

One more thing, funny how the host reacts when Russell drops the word Eeeeteeee, considering this lovely pic of her daddy who looks like he could use some daylight (vitamin D) and perhaps some some other vitamin supplements along with it... No suggestions intended at all

He uses some shock humor but overall I find his uncensored and direct nature refreshing. Not many people speak their minds or tell you how it is. It's human nature for most to adapt to those around them. He is himself regardless of who he is around.

Funny to watch but I bet he'd make a majority of people extremely uncomfortable with his mannerisms and directness.

I can see something kind of ground breaking here.
Russell is doing things no one else in front of the big cameras is doing.
In this case he broke the newscaster interveiw paradigm for these folks,
turned them into relaxed humans being themselves.
All with the tools of improv performance and what seems to be scads of awareness,
and the creepy tool of charisma used for all the right reasons.

YEAH MAN!

LOVE him! ..... also think its amazing to watch someone who many might think a 'fool' who had a lot more important info to share than they did...honestly when the guy says " I have a serious question now"......and then goes on to ask whether he prefers tv, movies or standup ?? WTF !
He did a brilliant job of showing them how its done! and he sure is pretty!

I notice the more relaxed he gets , the more uncomfortable the others get, ya know, he's looking around at everything instead of sitting like a robot staring directly at camera one or two, and making sure all is picture perfect ... the other folks are no match for his intellect or quick humor ...

Russell is one to keep on your radar for sure.
Yknow the saying about always listen to the old and the quiet, well I know he's not quiet in his typical flighty Gemini persona, but you get the feeling what he reveals is only the tip of the iceberg.

Sometimes the wisest people are not those who shout their facts loud and pompously, dropping names and belittling the ones they presume can offer nothing to their presumptuous standard, but those who remain confidently subdued and ask those with facts the right questions.
Russell does this with a hint of mercurial humour and wit, making him ten steps ahead of those oh so serious types.

The court joker was the only one allowed to tell the King the truth without loosing his head.
We need more Russell Brands!

I think that he is softselling an idea that is pure dynamite.
If people really understood iconicism on a mass scale, and how it displaces their creative energy.
Many more would start practicing real freedom.
Also, they would start laughing, and keep on laughing, and Russel would be even richer.
But how can you put a handle on this guy?
Does anyone see any strings on this guy?
Maybe he is too easily discounted, cuz he is so wild and crazy.
But seriously folks, a comedy show on how we give away our power?
How is that not a sign that we are in the age of more shall be revealed?

I like Russel Brand, and I was very pleased that he dodged the Illuminati bullet in the admittedly shapely form of Katy Perry.

Lol, he kissed the bullet, it bounced off.
This is one guy who keeps showing up in MSM,
who to one extent or another knows how to wash this stuff off,
while bathing in it.

Being a brit I allus thought RB was a bit of a d!ck when he initially emerged on the scene, several years ago. However, he has matured very nicely and is growing in my eyes (ooooh Matron). That video is what RB does best imo. On the spot humour and now with his enlightened view of things he is just getting better.

Russell Brand set for Question Time

Russell Brand has scrapped a number of dates in the Middle East after being told
his safety could not be guaranteed. He had been booked to perform in Abu Dhabi
and Lebanon on his Messiah Complex world tour. His routine deals with figures such
as Malcolm X, Gandhi and Jesus.

"Those gigs have been banned, pulled because of threats from extremists that if I
went there there would be problems," Brand told Radio 5live.

"The venue contacted us and said we can no longer guarantee your safety."

Brand told Richard Bacon the nature of the comedy material led
to "fundamentalists" threatening to cause trouble at the venues.

He also believed the promotional poster for the tour might have played its part in
the cancellations.

"The image by the brilliant artist Shepard Fairey depicts me as looking a little Christ-
like....so there's an indication that it might be offensive," he said.

"If you are in some sort of fundamentalist group and Google my name and watch a
few things on YouTube you might just think 'don't bother having him here'."

The tour was due to open in Abu Dhabi in August but it will now skip the Middle
East and go to the US, Canada and South Africa as well as European venues.
Meanwhile, Brand is appearing on the panel of the BBC's political programme
Question Time on Thursday, alongside London Mayor Boris Johnson and MP Dame
Tessa Jowell.
