In my travels researching astronomy this evening i came across a reference to a comet called Ison. And i found an interview with this man James McCanney a well known physicist and found him to be very knowledgable about this comet and it's effects on other planets our sun and our weather. I am wondering how many of you have heard of this man and what you think of his theories?. If you have not heard of him i suggest you type in his name and read about him he seems to be very knowledgable on the topic of comets amongst other things and has a different theory about them that the western world seems to have dismissed. Interestingly Russia has picked up his work and is teaching it now but NASA seems not to be interested in it even though he worked for them. And alot of his ideas were proven to be right from the data they have collected from deep space probes. Please leave a comment once you look this man up and let me know what you think of him, or if you know him and his work what are your thoughts thank you.

Yes, I've heard of him and I find his info viable also. A friend of mine here and I keep an eye on it, but you can look up China launch 2(on youtube) and look at the backround when it enters space and you see in the right upper corner in the 1pm position a blue planet/star/Kachina, making it's eliptic orbit towards the sun.
that was in February, so....there's no telling where it is, how close or anything from America, but plenty from other nations who have disclosed their UFO policies and contacts. RT news has a lot of sightings they are reporting from around the world.

I have been listening to Jim's radio show now for 6 months, in fact his show will be on today at 4 pm on WWCR.com station 2. He also records the show and you can listen to it later on his web site www.jmccsci.com. Beware his website is a little hard to navigate. He talks about many things from politics to science and supports his show by selling water filters and books he has written about comets and other science topics. He really dislikes NASA and calls them tier two scientists. He believes Comet Ison may electrically connect with the earth at a distance and possibly have big affects as it passes by this fall and winter. Give him a listen, you will learn many things about the sun, comets, weather and other topics that will be different than what you learned in school.

I used to listen to his radio show all the time, and I think he's brilliant. His book on prime numbers was quite a breakthrough, I believe, and his theories about comets make a lot of sense. I would love to see him and Nassim Haramein get together and compare notes sometime.
I got a bit tired of his ranting after awhile--a bit egotistical and tedious.
I hope he's mellowed out more since then.

I agree that some of thee people do tend to go on a bit but the basics of what they are saying is right i did listen to his radio show about comet Ison and found it very interesting which made me research him to see his credentials. It gave a perspective on our weather changing that i had not previously thought of before. One thing i find interesting is the interview i listened to was from november last year, in it he gave times of the year for 2013 that this comet would effect other planets in our solar system, and some of the time frames have coincided with changes in planetary activity this year. So his data about the comet must have some truth to it and i also found it interesting how this comet effects our sun which is causing our weather to change as well, i would advise others to look at his work it will give you another perspective on this.

I haven't heard of McCanney (at least not that I recall), so I'll have to check out his work. Thanks for the tip MadMax.

I do have a passing familiarity with ISON, however. IIRC, it is estimated that it will reach its closest proximity to Earth around November or December of this year. I have heard this linked to the Hopi Prophesy as well, for what it's worth...
