"'MOL Comfort sank due to yet unclear reasons, sailing from Singapore to Jeddah and after that to North Europe, leaving behind hundreds of drifting containers and a huge aftershock hitting liner sector and all of the maritime industry.
Even the scale of the consequences is hard, impossible, to estimate, not to mention consequences themselves. This is the 1st case in liner sector, when modern ocean-going liner container vessel (built in Japan!) sank in the ocean after breaking in 2 parts, like a poorly built and managed bulk carrier or over aged coaster. Nothing like this ever occurred, and no one believed it was possible, even theoretically. It just could not happen, but still, here it is.'"
My interjection... this is One way that 'Intervention' can happen.
Just a Theory ;)

Second link translated by Google Translate, confirming that it was indeed for the FSA, happened even earlier (5 days ago), but the ship did not sink yet:
" In the Indian Ocean sank the 4,500 containers of weapons to the Syrian rebels on board MOL Comfort (APL Russia). Anatomy of a sensation
Syrian Sham Times newspaper spread sensational information that in the Persian Gulf has split in two and sank one of the largest container ships in the world, MOL Comfort.
The team rescued, but the cargo - 4,500 containers of arms and ammunition for the Syrian rebels, went to the bottom.
The shipwreck happened on June 17, 200 miles off the coast of Yemen.
According to the newspaper, the American weapons were loaded on board the ship in Singapore. MOL Comfort followed across the Indian Ocean in the city of Jeddah. According to Sham Times, after a stop in Jeddah container had to proceed to the Jordanian port of Aqaba, to unload a deadly cargo.
The good news spread quickly on social networks Syrian (and Russian) loyalists.
The source of information Sham Times (which Sham Times wisely does not mention) is a resource Syrian opposition Al-Haqiqa.
Al-Haqiqa writes: "One of the world's largest container ships, MOL Comfort, crashed and broke into two parts in the Pacific (!) Ocean, off the coast of Yemen. It transported 4,500 containers with American weapons and ammunition for the Syrian rebels. "
Al-Haqiqa refers to the authoritative Russian website dedicated to maritime transport, portnews.ru: "According to information published on the Russian site Port News, container ship broke apart because of a storm, or perhaps as a result of sabotage. On board the ship, there were about 4,500 containers of arms and ammunition. They were sent to the warehouses of the American army in the Jordanian port of Aqaba from warehouses in Singapore. "
portnews.ru of the crash:
The message in the crash: June 18, 2013 14:58
Russian sailors from the wrecked container ship MOL Comfort is not affected
Eleven Russian sailors from a container ship MOL Comfort (flag of the Bahamas) that crashed, are alive and well and sent to Colombo on board Yantian Express. As the press service of the Russian Trade Union of Seafarers (SUR), said the vice-president of this Pacific Regional Organization of the Russian Seamen's Union Valery Berezina.
According to him, the Russian sailors were recruited through the ship crewing "Feskokontrakt."
"All the personal belongings of sailors lost, including marine instruments, - he said. - Seafarers' Union of Russia will have a crew needed help. "
Neither Al-Haqiqa, nor Sham Times did not mention the fact that the 11-member crew of a container ship carrying a mountain of weapons to the rebels, were citizens of Russia. Formerly called the ship APL Russia.
The collapse of the MOL Comfort has become one of the largest and unpleasant surprises for the marine industry. The ship new - built in 2008 and causes of the incident are not yet clear. Against this background, born the most incredible theories - including that the ship sank "after a series of explosions."
According to the Maritime Bulletin, "in the area of the crash continues to swim hundreds of containers."
It is expected that work on the site of the crash and rescue attempt will begin shipping on June 23.
The main carrier at MOL Comfort was the Japanese company Mitsui. Its losses are estimated at $ 83 million.

Comments from the editors:
Today in the morning it turned out that MOL Comfort did not sink
, however, broke in two. And now the two halves of the ship with containers on board a drifting on the surface of the Arabian Sea (Indian Ocean) in the area of the accident. The official statement of the owner and operator of the ship, the Tokyo company Mitsui OSK Lines, Ltd (MOL), President Koichi Muto (Koichi Muto), says that part of the cargo was lost, the containers have fallen overboard. Another part of the container has been damaged. further states that MOL immediately set up emergency headquarters, headed by Mr. Koichi Muto and takes a company-wide measures necessary "to address the issue properly". Mitsui OSK Lines to carry out the operation on salvage at sea. This is a costly affair. In the end, the ship and cargo are insured, and if MOL Comfort sank, it would have been easier. Especially because no one, fortunately, was killed. On emergency container ship company today provides the following information: Type of ship: Containership (8,000-TEU type) Containers loaded: 4,382 units (7,041 TEU) Seafarers: 26 (11 Russians, one Ukrainian , 14 Filipinos) Flag: Bahamas Built: 2008 We have noticed, however, that yesterday at about midnight in Moscow in this column instead of «Containers loaded» - «of immersed containers" - were the words «Capacity» - «Capacity." By the number of cargo "In okiyane-Sea" brought another figure - «Containers loaded» was 4500 units. It is likely that the original information was assessed, is not quite accurate, but there are other options. It is known that modern ships do not suffer excessive margin of safety, and the last feather can break the camel's back. It is possible that there will be an explanation of the accident MOL Comfort like the ones that were given about the tanker "Prestige": bow and stern tanker, you see, were on the the crest of two waves, and the rest of the body was hanging, then, in the air, laden tanker broke apart under its own weight. Recall of oil cargo tanks "Prestige" were flooded coast of Spain and France.

So according to this they were American weapons on a Japenese container freighter ship with a mixed crew of russian philipine and ukraine sailers is this correct?, if this is correct then they have gone against what they stated at the G8 summit. In an interview i watched live after one of the G8 meetings Obama stated that they would not supply arms to the rebels instead opting to try and instate the political talks. Can we get 100% confirmation on this that they are arms from America bound for Syria because if it is correct they have just been busted as big time liers.

Marvelous news. While all those toxic explosive might be a toxic hazard, they are hopefully less so, at the bottom of the sea.

my gut tells me, russia made a statement to the U.S. syria is not going to be the next Iraq ...there will be no sudan, lybia, Iran... no more nation building ... last time I checked syria is not one of the 52 states ...no wonder muslims have issues with America ... we have enough problems here at home, we should take care of home and leave the middle east alone, they've been at war for 2,000 years we know of ...

Containership MOL Comfort breaks in Two Off Yemen, crew rescued
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. reports that the MOL-operated containership MOL Comfort, while under way from Singapore to Jeddah on the Indian Ocean (12'30"N 60'E) at about noon JST (07:00 local time) on June 17, 2013 during inclement weather, suffered a crack amidships and ingressing water in the hold. This made it impossible for the vessel to continue on under its own power.
Some of the containers on the vessel were lost overboard or suffered damage during the incident. Details are being confirmed. The damage to the MOL Comfort is extensive, while the 26 crew members took to lifeboats. All were safely rescued by other vessel in the area.

MOL immediately set up the Emergency Control Headquarters (headed by President Koichi Muto) for the incident, and is taking company-wide measures necessary to settle the matter properly.
The latest report says that the vessel was fractured in two parts, fore and aft.
http://maritime-connector.com/images/mol-comfort3-1--20846.jpg
At about noon JST on Tuesday, June 18 (07:00 local time), the fore part of the hull is drifting around 13'00"N 60'40"E, and the aft part is about 19 miles southwest from that point. At present, both parts of the ship are laden with containers and drifting in an east-northeast direction. Mitsui O.S.K. Lines is also arranging tugboats to tow both parts.

So the incident occurred in mid Indian Ocean from Singapore on 17th June.
What is the travel time from Singapore to this location for a large super container carrier as this? One week, two weeks, four weeks?
Strong speculative theories of shipment bearing arms for rebels from the Americans to the Syrian (Zionist) Mercenaries implies the Americans are lying to the world with their procrastinations over peace talks in Geneva, which suggests, as usual, those proposed talks are just "press theatre" for the masses.
Here we have potentially hard evidence that the entire political process both sides of the pond are in cahoots to fabricate another annihilation of a Nation state.

Mixed cargo, I can agree with. 4,500 containers full of weapons, I find very difficult to believe.
If true and not mixed cargo, then someone needs to be asking our Pres. some very serious questions.
I would venture that someone should get on top of this, and be asking those questions.
I can also see impeachment proceedings, impending over this.
Everyone of note, should be all over this one...

In light of Obamas statements, ANY weapons sent would be an impeachable offense.

M O L = Massive Over Load
For a container ship to break in two like this, you have to ask why ?
Most likely, it was seriously over loaded.
Why would it be so over loaded ?
Too many containers ?....... probably not.
Too much weight inside each container ?... much more likely.
So, why would there be too much weight inside each container ?
False documents ?
Over enthusiastic packers ?

All vessels are, basically, structural tubes, using bulkheads to stiffen the tube, and are designed to a typical 4:1 safety factor in accordance with a 'worst-case' overload condition. The worst case scenario is where the waves are of such frequency and height as to, first, unload both ends (wave in the middle, with each end unsupported), and then unload the middle (a wave at each end of the craft, with the middle unsupported). If enough cycles of this occurs, then the metal in the beam weakens, and either crushes or tears. It appears to be what happened with this craft.
From the sea state in the photos, the 'worst case scenario' does Not appear likely. Moreover, this is a relatively new ship, thus it is highly unlikely to have been exposed to excessive overload cycles.
I Still think 'intervention' is an appropriate probability ;)
