On MSNBC - O's speech tells the the public that his administration is creating brand new laws for indefinite detention - in case you do something wrong!!
This means you can be forcefully held (legally) without charges being laid, if anyone has any reason to believe that you are a threat to security..... WTF
The length of time is not spoken about however, he says people can still be a threat to the "security" of the USA 10 years later!!!
This despotic meglomaniacal bast#$d should be locked up - he has no accountability, is out of control and is clearly totally insane.
Please watch
HkSkQgnEV-Q
I think this occured in February - so the laws will be just about ready.

that creep looks so smug in the thumbnail of this video ... bummer is that he isn't in control, he's just enjoying the ride a bit much with so many of his dreams coming true, for now ... his toss under the bus is gonna be ugly I think
These kind of laws combined with Big Sis and her 'see something, say something' campaign are a real trip to witness.

I just cannot beleive that there is NO consultation, NO debate, NO nothing!!! A complete dictatorship.
When did this happen before...ummmmmm. I think it speaks volumes that the MSM picked it up
Who is going to stop the madness....enough people are awake now....so now what happens? do we just sit back and watch it all unfold......... the clock is ticking

witchy...I am afraid most of the people I see around me are NOT AWAKE at all about what is happening. Here in the south if the average joe can get beer, watch college football, and deer hunt without trouble, then life is well.
I used to think that people would come to their senses and stop the madness, but I now fear we as a country and people have traded liberty for protection. Protection for terrorists, protection from poverty, protection from making your own decisions about such things as your health, etc. I just do not see any push back from the public. The recent disclosure by Snowden about the wholesale tapping of our phones, emails, and communication seems all ok by Joe Six Pack. Just protect me from these guys. Anything you use is fine with me. The cameras are here, but the drones in the US are just starting. Soon full time, as it is happening surveillance will be here and the use of all this technology will be to PREVENT something from happening. I'm afraid the madness is those of use that are aware of of this thinking the majority will wake up and help.

What house did these bills that were passed into law, begin?
Who is sponsoring them and how did they slip them in? I think all that Bengazigate and vengeance towards the voters for the 10% approval rating, has them sticking this crap in bills, passing them like they did the abortion law, and distracting US from paying attention. Sometimes the "waive the reading of a amendment or bill" and we end up with stuff like this. Remember that guy that slipped the reversal of GlassSteigel.

AlaBil I agree with you fully, and find the very same here in the North West. Also, my family all live in Central California, and think the very same. As long as the beer keeps flowing, and they can go ride their motorcycles all week end, or go deer hunting, they could care less what happens around them. I used to drive truck for a living before I retired, and found the very same thinking across this country.
Gimme a beer Ethyle, the games on!!! Across the board, I found that whatever their brand of "Fun" was, that is all they cared about!
And what is even more scarry, is the fact, that they "Believe" the nightly news.
Couple of days ago, I was tellingmy friend about something wrong with my car, and she said don't worry, I'm gonna win the lottery, and then buy you a new car. Plus I'll even take you on Cruise. chuckle chuckle. I told her the boat better be close because I ain't flyin nowhere, until they stop with all that TSA BS. Well... TSHTF over that one. Her and her Son,(who's 36) hit me with both barrels.cc. WHAT are you gonna do? Just let all of the Terrorists board the planes?
I have no fear of losing my statis, among Family and Friends, as their beloved NUT CASE! ccc.
Great thread witchy1!!

Oh wow, I never thought people actually believed that. I might be wrong but it seems to me that people here are at least a little more distrustful of what the government does.

The NYT article referenced in the Maddow report was dated 5/21/2009, so maybe search around that time period? FWIW, I don't think this is a new report as I am sure I've seen it before. Not that that negates its importance. :)
