We should all know by now that your information is shared.
Even though I was aware of it, you don't really think about it happening to you other than just a email spam. So here is an example of what I experienced today.
Last night I made a Google search for a Kabar knife. I did not purchase one, I only lurked on 3 or 4 different sites for style and pricing. I left no other information other than my electronic footprint that I was there. I did not sign up for anything. I only viewed the sites.
Tonight while viewing my facebook page in my time line was an advertisement from Overstock.com for .........a Kabar knife. Google, Overstock, Facebook. Who else knows what I am looking at? Of course, the US government too.
This gives me an extremely uncomfortable feeling. I wonder what other lists I am on?:smash:
