This was the show about energy weapons and 9/11 - the most interesting part of it was in section 2, I don't know how many people subscribe to Red Ice, but it is well worth it.

I have listened to it a couple of times, and am still trying to absorb all the material. Basically Cotterell is trying to describe a "unified theory" of gravity, electricity, magnetism, reincarnation, soul voltage, Freemasonry, the creation of the universe by God, Earth as a prison planet (more accurately: purgatory), etc.

I don't know whether he is 100% correct, but certainly there are some very interesting thoughts and insights. Hence, this thread.

The idea of soul voltage is fascinating. We have a certain voltage when we are born. If we can increase it by doing "good things" (not defined) then we can return to God. But if we decrease it - or at least not increase it - then it is not sufficiently strong to escape the gravity well of the Earth and we have to stay here and reincarnate.

According to Cotterell, the Freemasons knew this and initially tried to do everything to escape the reincarnation cycle - building the cathedrals, charitable works, etc. (historically accurate?) but later on there was a split where some of them basically decided that escaping was too difficult/impossible, and that they would just stay here and rule this planet, having apparently worked out some way to reincarnate back into the same family, i.e. inherit their own accumulated wealth.

There are a lot of interesting ideas in the interview, especially about gravity, which I am not going to try and explain, since they are... urmmm... quite complicated... his put downs of modern science remind me of Insane Clown Posse - magnets, how do they work? Maybe they were onto something after all!

Thanks, I have a subscription to Red Ice. The interviews are excellent - very high quality. Henrik asks intelligent questions and he lets the guest do the talking, which is the way it should be.
I will make sure to listen to the interview you mention here - the ideas are intriguing.

I listened to both segments and found the 2nd hour fascinating.

I have read in books about what you call soul voltage, but I think his ideas of how

it works are a little off. In my readings it is called soul energy, which we can bring in

different levels in a certain incarnation. Example a soul may only bring in 30 percent

of its energy into an incarnation, because its feels that is sufficient enough to

carry out its life purpose. Other souls may choose more, because they enter in

difficult incarnations. As far as I know there is no way to increase the amount

while you are here, but its possible there maybe exceptions that are very rare.

It is very possible of souls reincarnating in the same family, but that is dictated

by the higher levels of the astral realm and not so much a decision down here.

I would recommend Micheal Newtons work, which goes into great detail of

the reincarnation subject.

Ya some interesting ideas here for sure. When it comes to the soul and reincarnation and related issues, we may be placing too many limitations(limitations that don't exist except in our our belief in them) on what may or may not happen. The soul will undoubtedly make many considerations that we are not yet aware of, including evolution. It all depends on the kind of experiences that can be created through the parameters that are set at birth. Maybe the soul can choose to do anything it wants in between incarnations, including not reincarnating. The real question is, what would it want to do considering it's purpose? What serves it best?

Scary thought. If earth is purgatory then what did we do to end up here? Sometimes I think earth is hell not purgatory. Considering the fact that we all here are very upset at what's going on and often shake our heads and sigh our hearts out I have a hard time imagining that we are such "bad" folks in our essence to have ended up here imprisoned.

The book Power vs Force by Dr David Hawkins gives a calibration of the frequency of various levels of soul development.
He also says that we come into earth at a frequency which we can raise or lower according to the motive behind our actions.
This also affects the collective consciousness.
He also said that the world is purgatorial --not so much that we did something wrong but a place to raise our consciousness through trial and error.
Of course there is past life karma involved--- here we have the chance to evolve to know our true Self.

I would really recommend Power v Force--- one of the most helpful books I have read.

why would a soul choose to come to earth if there was a risk of being caught in a suffering reincarnation cycle, it makes no sense, there would not be many souls willing to take that chance

At the risk of being very blunt, there are many souls who have actually taken that chance, including you, me, everyone on Project Avalon forum, and all the other 7 billion souls currently incarnated on Earth...

God is perfection, all-knowing. How therefore is progress possible for God? Perhaps one way is by splitting off from itself, forgetting itself, and then remembering and growing, ultimately reuniting with God making, as Cotterrell put it "more God".

This is, I think, a fairly common philosophy amongst various spiritual traditions.

As to whether Earth is hell or simply purgatory, because it is not a final destination, probably purgatory rather than hell, unless you get totally wrapped up and lost in it, in which case you would be making your own hell.

Greybeard: completely agree about Power vs. Force. It's a must read. Certainly blew the doors off my barn when I read it 10 years ago.

In my view all these concepts we have put into words like "prison", "purgatory" etc are very subjective and not that accurate. They come from our limited perception and further conceptualization of what reality is. Why do we need to limit ourselves using such concepts... Imagine you are for the first time here and you need to experience it all anew, no words existing or preconception, imagine that and than try to imagine why you have come here. Strip your mind from the conditioning and look. That is when you will actually "understand" what The Earth is and why.
In the light of this thread, being listening to red ice radio for a while, and being interested in this type of thinking about life, I "feel" for me a lot of the information about soul/spirit sounds true. having also no religion, I tend to go back to buddhism and its "understanding" of reality and our mission here. we are definitely not the first to think this subject over. It has been done long before our time right now, why not try to look at those teachings from the current perspective of things...
But I also don't discard the idea of "alien" a la "matrix" concept of reality.

All in all for me, we are just trying to ruin the subject putting too much energy into trying to understand and rationalize. Feel it simply. That is how I look at it. But I don't use words when I think, I more "see" things, so I don't know how to express what I want to say more clearly...

Yes! The Earth is not this or that. It's not one thing. The reality of what it is cannot be grasped by our thinking minds, at least not in a adequate way that does justice to it. The Earth is whatever we make of it on one level. If we want it to be hell, then though our unconscious thinking and deeds we turn it into hell or purgatory. If, on the other hand, we look at the Earth as a world of possibilities while at the same time a living biological entity to be honoured and respected as such, heaven can be right at our fingertips.
