Watching the Video, about Hugo Chavez "The Revolution Will not be Televised" will give insight to the way these things go down each and every time.

The problem being each and every person standing on the street needs to see how this works to be able to quell reaction.
Alas, the decades of TV broadcasts haven't included such documentaries in their scheduling, so we are a tad behind.

These Egyptians get it
The tweets coming out of Egypt are indicating there are more people protesting now than there were against Mubarak.

I am Egyptian and following the events on the ground.
There are more Egyptians on the streets tonight in Egypt than there was during the revolution 2 years ago.
As of now there is no word about this on any western news outlet.

The Egyptian protests are real. The Syrian "rebels" are US; CIA; and others. The Turkish protests are real.

The clock is ticking... and the chances of a military coup in Egypt occurring in the coming hours look high indeed. If the army does take control they may become victims of Islamist attacks of the same kind that are occurring in Syria. Morsi has just called for people not to attack the army - but will this change if he is deposed? Morsi, unfortunately, is a supporter of the Syrian terrorists - the coming days may test his consistency. Would Morsi welcome the same terror in his own back yard - or does he want to keep his Islamist terror at a distance? Perhaps time will tell.
This interesting article talks about Morsi's attendance at rally for the Islamists of the Syrian war and the rift that this naturally caused between him and the army:
