Even more scathing reports of US surveillance are emerging from Germany - courtesy of
Edward Snowden. Der Spiegel magazine is reporting that they've seen a top secret US
document - outlining how the country's intelligence bugged EU offices and spied on the
bloc's internal computer networks. RT's Peter Oliver is in Berlin with more on this latest
leak. RT is also joined by Lode Vanoost - former deputy speaker of the Belgian
parliament. Read more: http://on.rt.com/0ha7ne

The main revelation out of all this is there has always been spies, the question
is who ? how ? controls the data in the modern world and what are they doing
with it.

The International Spy Museum, Washington DC

Uploaded on 22 Feb 2011

The International Spy Museum opened in Washington, DC on July 19, 2002. It is
the only public museum in the United States solely dedicated to espionage and the
only one in the world to provide a global perspective on an all-but-invisible
profession that has shaped history and continues to have a significant impact on
world events.
The Museum features the largest collection of international espionage artifacts ever
placed on public display. Many of these objects are being seen by the public for the
first time. These artifacts illuminate the work of famous spies and pivotal espionage
actions as well as help bring to life the strategies and techniques of the men and
women behind some of the most secretive espionage missions in world history.

The mission of the International Spy Museum is to educate the public about
espionage in an engaging way and to provide a context that fosters understanding
of its important role in and impact on current and historic events.
The Museum focuses on human intelligence and reveals the role spies have played
in world events throughout history. It is committed to the apolitical presentation of
the history of espionage in order to provide visitors with nonbiased, accurate
information.

A report on the BBC radio news this morning announced that more NSA employees were speaking out. The Observer news paper was where the article was mentioned.

I have no way of searching websites as my internet connection is weak and very slow.

All of the sudden the silly EU good for nothing diplomats care about what the NSA does. When it was just the regular folks they weren't crying out. Also funny how the leaders of the EU member states claim to have been unaware of what was going on. An insider stated:

Madsen named seven EU countries that have been substantially engaged in communications intelligence gathering alongside the US. These are Britain, Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy... Governments have chosen to keep the public in the dark about it. They don’t understand that the days when they could get away with a conspiracy of silence are over.

In this interview Patrick speculates that the Snowden affair is being manipulated to bring in a worldwide Internet ID program, which is why they are releasing info that not just US people were being spied on.

Patrick Henningsen, an independent journalist currently based in London, is the managing editor of 21st Century Wire, which delivers news and exposés on intelligence, foreign policy, climate change, the war on terror, technology and Wall Street. In the first hour Patrick talks about the situation in Syria as Britain and France, together with Israel and US support are destabilizing the country. Fake revolutions with the aid of Google and the National Endowment for Democracy are reshaping and reforming countries faster than any invasion could. We also discuss the NSA surveillance debacle and Ed Snowden in the main stream media. Henningsen explains how whistleblowers have now become an intricate part of the geopolitical game.

In the past certain groups were put down such as used car salespeople and later attorneys. Now it is the national security/law enforcement people and maybe it is times for more jokes about them. Please watch this video if you want to lighten up a bit http://www.theospark.net/2013/06/federal-law-enforcement-priceless.html?m=1 Time for them to clean up their act if they want to be taken seriously.

US president Barack Obama implies that European countries could be spying
on the US, saying there are plenty of European leaders who want to know what
he is thinking, during a press conference in Tanzania.

Read an article that quotes a former Lieutenant Colonel of East Germany's Stasi. Here's a quote:

You know, for us, this would have been a dream come true...It is the height of naivete to think that once collected this information won’t be used...This is the nature of secret government organizations. The only way to protect the people’s privacy is not to allow the government to collect their information in the first place.
Coming from a Stasi officer! The organization known to harass people viciously and spy on everyone and everything.

Even Schmidt, 73, who headed one of the more infamous departments in the infamous Stasi, called himself appalled. The dark side to gathering such a broad, seemingly untargeted, amount of information is obvious, he said.

NSA's New Spy Game?

OPh_Lc1o1Ds

Published on 1 Jul 2013

The old spy game, as portrayed in Hollywood with moles and secret
briefcase exchanges, is no more. It's been replaced by a new spy
game led by the NSA, which the world is just now finding out about
thanks to Edward Snowden's leaks. The latest leak covers a global
surveillance system run out of the NSA targeting now just enemies
of the United States, but allies as well. So what does this new spy
game look like? And are there any limits to it? Political Commentator
Sam Sacks breaks it down.

The Resident: Spy-crazed US gov't spies on self

VK-jveb5p8w

Published on 2 Jul 2013

The US government is even spying on itself, through a program
called the Insider Threat Program. President Obama instituted it
right after Bradley Manning's leaks came out. It is designed to
force federal workers of every agency to rat out their coworkers
if they think they are acting like they might want to leak something
or talk to anyone about their jobs. The Resident (aka Lori Harfenist)
discusses why the US has this spying obsession.
