Or is that just what I think?
Inequality is at an all time high, and can see many corrupt people battle it out for more and more power, prompting a financial war in which countries will ally with each other to make other countries bankrupt.
If there is another World war in the foreseeable future, what will it be about and why?
I'd love to see your perspective on this matter.

It will be after Glass-Steagall is re-enacted.
We are half way there now. Oregon just became the 23d Glass-Steagall state after the introduction of Senate Joint Memorial 11.
Once they will realize that the quadrillion dollar derivative empire is just monopoly money and their 'Get Out Of Jail Free' cards have expired, then they will kick over the game board.
----
Just a side note:
I wish people would understand how critically important Glass Steagall really is for us. Almost every country on the planet has people in high places calling for Glass-Steagall restoration.
How else do we strike back against the crooks?
Protests? I have not seen the big picture/plan change because of a protest, e.g. Occupy X, Arab Spring etc.
Boycotts? Well, McDonalds and Coke Cola are still in business.
No. You have to hit them at their wallet - then you'll see the JPMorgoon cane rattling again.
If we don't see a full, exact, as originally written Glass-Steagall restoration SOON, then say a prayer.
...and I understand that Glass-Steagall is a just push-back and only part of the solution, but it's all we got.

Western Commerce is set up as a form of warfare. It originated out of and probably before the Roman Imperial Expansion, and has evolved into the UCC, Admiralty Law of Commerce of today. That's why it is called the Occult (hidden) world of Commerce by people like Jordan Maxwell. Court operates on the same principle. It's all adversarial.
Now looking at it from the strictly WAR side ....ALL WARS have and always will be commercial ventures.
