I'm currently applying for a Mason position locally, I want to find out for myself what it is all about.
hopefully it all works out.

I would say you shouldn't talk about it before you are accepted. It may negatively affect your approval.
Do remember the first 3 initiations are not dangerous, they just will seem that way, as most things do when blindfolded.

I don't currently think of the masons as "them" & certainly this is not a "giving up" on my part in any sense. Nor even an "infiltration" where I intend to break trust or disrupt the organization; I am interested and meet the desired profile.
I see everything in reality as a reflection of myself (ourselves) and what is with in all of us, if something is viewed through the lens of fear it will seem evil or "bad" instead of just what it is.
I don't feel that I am going in blindly & will keep my "wits" about me while engaged with the organization.

I have a sponsor and have met many of the members in a very positive way; I'm in contact with the W.M. of the lodge and have met with him at one of their charity events. so far it seems like a good start.

They say the first 3 levels are not revealed anything... an uncle was in it for years and never rose past the 3rd level, but did confirm some stuff, like stuff revealed in the Empire of the City - Word Superstate Video... and some have come forward after reaching the 90th level, talking about the huge Satanic influence (Bill Schnoebelen) and some say it goes all the way to 360... Good luck...
update:
The study of the pyramid itself, and in all its forms, is worthy of contemplation. It is more then just an organizational structure. I see it its fundamental attribute is power concentration. In all it's physical manifestations there is always an element of concentrating power. In other words in the most fundamental sense, it is a technology, a tool. In the case of organizing people into a "pyramid" type organization we inevitably create a concentration of power for those at the top. (and a Machiavellian control system of those at the bottom) in an evil scenario.
In this case it is a technology that happens to be used for evil purposes. Like the banking system, the pharmaceutical system, the legal system. This is just another secret. Keeping people blind and ignorant to it's existence and actual purpose.
If people understood better, they wouldn't be victims but would know better to clearly focus their attention at the peak, and do what is necessary to fix the problem. In essence they could 'reverse' the pyramid. And make the power at the peak accountable. That isn't happening today. In fact no one even knows who is at the "peak" (we can only guess, how darker can it get?)
I think at one point it was used for good, in a transparent way. That must have been eons ago, but I am sure that it must have been.

I'm fairly certain that nothing can be created "bad"(evil) but everything can be perverted to bad (evil), this seems to be the fundamental basis of vaccum and expansion, positive and negative, good and evil etc....
the Pyramid structure (socially, economically, etc) makes a lot of sense and I'm sure it could be used for "good" just as easily as it is now being used for "bad"; I think the pyramid was what created magnificent societies and "got things done" but the twist of corruption and the lack of a "check" to the pyramid allowed this useful organizational tool to be twisted, it's currently twisted so far that it has turned on itself & the symbolism of the pyramid with a floating detached cap stone shows how "disconnected" the mentality has become, it will destroy its own base and be left with nothing if it continues.
in essence I think a big part of our goal is not to "destroy" the tip of the pyramid, it's to remind it that is made of the same stuff that the base is, to re connect it and re-align it with its former (presumably) goals.
I do not hate the 1%, I think they are simply too disconnected and isolated & have developed an elitist entitlement mentality that is not helping anyone (including themselves).
Perhaps the original mistake was attempting to make the pyramid completely "good" with no balance, too polarized, and thus the slip to "evil" was inevitable and necessary to create balance (which is ever strived for it seems).
That’s my thought for this moment; it may change in the next.

I know some really cool masons. The guy in the video is a very spiritual person who actually practices what he preaches and thats very rare these days.
