Good afternoon, I do not usually forward videos but this is a presentation showing the Standard procedure for Force Feeding at Guantanamo Bay. This is currently going on daily. There are several detainees who are on hunger strikes. The majority of them have never been charged with a crime and have actually been cleared for release. They have not been released due to various political reasons.

The video features a rapper known more widely as Mos Def. Please watch and discuss.

Isn't it funny that the hunger strike is NOT mentioned on any of the Shame Stream Medias?

It was, briefly. But I listen to stations like Democracynow.org (http://Democracynow.org) They are pretty good at providing information that is useful. Also Progressive News and Counter Spin are great shows that provide valuable information that isn't spoken of on larger Media Outlets. Please do a search for these and listen to them, perhaps even donate to them to allow them to continue to do their good works.

We hardly hear a peep about Guantanamo from the MSM. They are succeeding with "out of sight out of mind". I am sure most people have forgotten that there are still prisoners there. These prisoners are being sedated and or restrained and then force fed when they fall below a certain body weight due to hunger strikes. We'd be shocked to know what is really going on in there.

The US government is fighting a legal effort to stop the force-feeding of hunger-
striking detainees at Guantanamo Bay. Lawyers for several prisoners have appealed
to a Washington court to intervene - but the administration says federal judges
have no say on what happens at the camp. The mass hunger strike at the notorious
US military facility is now entering its sixth month. Nearly two-thirds of the inmates
have joined in the protest against alleged mistreatment, and detention without
trial. It's the largest strike in the camp's 11-year history. Military doctors are force-
feeding 45 detainees, to keep them alive. The highly controversial practice has
been condemned around the world - but is still being defended by US officials, as
RT's Gayane Chichakyan reports..

Five months and counting - that's how long the inmates at the
Guantanamo Bay prison have been refusing food to protest at
what they call inhumane treatment. Despite international outrage
over the situation the hunger strike is showing no signs of
ending - today RT is taking a close look at why.

Glad you put Democracynow.org up. It's how we found out about the Patriot Act with Cheney/Bush regime, and the lie to Iraq. Very good reporters there, especially the female Ralph Nader, Amy Goodman. They said the revolution will not be televised in 1984. They were right, because ptw own the television stations and news.
I hope what I thought about this President is true, and he's not gonna fall on his sword, but if it's concerning the health of his family, I know he will continue, and just risk impeachment, after taking them all down with him for f'ng up his one chance to do something good for the country in our history. The earlier generations had their heroes, and they deny us ours. PTW=So evilly psychotic and self serving, they literally turn your stomach.
