Article in the link below is worth a read (mainstream warning)..

In summary: US props up fraudulently elected Karzai, now Obama negotiating with Taliban, Karzai now pissed off with Obama, Obama pissed off in return. Karzai threatens to block troops, Obama threatens withdrawal...

What a state of affairs... To think people are dying just to give this entire shermozzle time to unfold to its inglorious end.

The article portrays this situation as being Obama mulling over withdrawing troops, but seems more like Karzai standing in the way of their continued deployment. Remember it was the Iraqis who forced the Americans out - not Obama, who wanted troops to stay. Media did a good job of swapping that one around too. Note the new buzz word 'Zero option' - euphemism for a premature, degenerate and embarrassing retreat.

12 years of war come to this, what a disgrace.

So does that mean they have finally secured their global US military protected black market cocaine distribution network firmly in place?

peace talks with the Taliban? zero option? like is there even one Afghan that wants even one US soldier in Afghanistan???
What planet are these guys living on... Are they trying to create a political dialectic? making the bizarre propaganda assumption that someone actually wants them in Afghanistan?... this is just strange, what are they smoking?! (don't ask)

Shades of Vietnam?

The Mudjahdin kicked Russia's arse out of there back in the late 70's early 80's, and now it's our turn.

The above link show how much money the US has spent in Afghanistan, and it isn't any more secure for it.
