USNORTHCOM is responsible for defending the United States. and Canadian air space, yet through various Freedom of Information Act requests, I am unable to access documents to prove that this is the case. So I begs the question is USNORTHCOM up to the task at hand since it cannot provide any documented evidence to support this.
It makes me wonder whether they have "drop the ball" on a number of incidents within the US, and don't want people to know.
The records I wish to access are on a Canadian system, so I need to file a FOIA request to the Department of National Defence, only problem as USNORTHCOM knows is that non Canadian citizens cannot file requests, so I'm up the creek without a paddle, unless of course there are Canadian citizens which can file a request for these records out there is Avalon land?
