I hope this hasn't been posted yet. It's hard to miss when it's right there when you get on Youtube today. Seeing this, sure makes me wonder why Shame Stream Medias aren't covering this abuse at GitMo. Why is their hunger strike being ignored? Yasiin wanted to show everyone what it was like. Geeeeez!

Years ago, I worked with a guy who was a guard at Gitmo when the detainees first arrived. So, I got some good scoop from him about what was happening there. The one thing I'll tell you is why they're stuck there. It happened after the first plane load of them returned to Afghanistan ended in a horrible disaster. All of them were lined up as they got off the plane and shot dead. That was their trial and execution. I'm thinking getting captured was like mission failure and the penalty was automatic death. That's probably what awaits the rest of them. So, why are we keeping the rest of them?

But that's no excuse to hold them indefinitely, violate and degrade them and whatever else is being perpetrated on them.
End this goddamn war already.... :tsk:

I could not watch the video - it would destroy me for the rest of the day. I feel for the people detained there. There is not a single reason why they should be detained and my heart becomes heavy just thinking about their plight. Not wanting to eat seems to be the last vestige of their dignity. I cannot begin to imagine their pain and what it would be like to have no freedom. This information reminds me how woeful human beings can be towards their own.

The entire detention centre is an evil reflection on those who keep it functioning. By their deeds you will know them.
