While the national media covers the Oscar Pistorius murder case wall to wall, the gruesome murder and beheading of two Coptic Christians by a Muslim has been virtually blacked out.

This despite the fact that the story was broken by an ABC television local affiliate in Jersey City two weeks ago.

Authorities in New Jersey allege a Muslim man beheaded two Coptic Christians, burying their bodies and heads and hands in separate graves near Philadelphia, bringing the horror of the persecution of Christians in Islamic nations to the United States.

According to New York’s WABC-TV, the Muslim was identified as Yusuf Ibrahim, 28. He was taken into custody after the bodies were found.

The report said investigators alleged Ibrahim killed the victims then severed their heads and hands, and buried the remains in the back yard of a home in Buena Vista, N.J.

The report said the victims were from the Coptic Christian community in the area. One of the victims had come from Egypt not many years ago.

While the report said police did not indicate a motive, friends of the victims wondered if it was something to do with religion.

The original post sparked a knee jerk response on my part of being flip about the religion card but watching this news report it sounds more like a drug deal gone wrong.

The reporter initially states that the heads and hands were chopped off to aid in hiding the identities of the victims.

Why did he cut off their hands? New Jersey Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa said (http://njsp.org/news/pr021113.html): "We allege that the defendant was ruthless and calculating in the manner in which he carried out the killings and attempted to prevent identification of the victims by cutting off their heads and hands before burying their bodies."

The point of posting this thread was not necessarily the motive of the crime, but the hipocracy of the media and masses in the dehumanization of the society. Systemic evil is encroaching and to be aware of this is to know thy enemy. Giving up our liberties and rights will not prevent this from manifesting on our streets and in our psyches. You shall know him by his deeds! This is beyond hate folks. IMHO

If you do a study of frequency of biting by dalmatians, and publish the results with the slant that dalmatians are worse than all other dogs, you have done the reader a great disservice. (disclaimer: It's a metaphor - it has nothing to do with dogs or any pejorative use of the mental wordplay on "dog!")

First of all this "article" gives credibility to the meme of Muslim jihadists and terrorists. Isn't it the solid truth that the most common terrorist on planet Earth is a white, male, US citizen, probably claiming Christianity as their religion? How about a study on the most prevalent REAL terrorists in the world's history?

Sheesh.

Actually, considering that we have an unqualified Muslim "President", a Muslim-style obelisk atop the Freedom Tower, and the WTC Memorial at Ground Zero has been designed to invoke Mecca, I wonder if something else isn't going on in this country, a change of energy, a new paradigm, a new symbol, moving away from the "Christian" ruse towards a new one... of total control and power over the obedient masses. Why else would the media shy away from this? One would think it would help their anti-Muslim "terrorist" propaganda agenda.

IMHO i think this has to do with the whole agenda, look at the big picture; all the christian persecution in the middle east, the syrian conflict, everything esle thats goin on over there, plus all the scandals thats goin on here in america. personally i think the MSM and the government elitests are trying to turn the world against Christians mainly because your good old fashioned bible thumping christian is the one that is gone have the strongest principles and values, and the ones that would most likely stand up for their freedom and liberty. Surely these men are gun-capable enough to inflict death upon their victims...so my question always is: how would a headline look with the words "shot" and "muslim" together as compared with "beheading" and "muslim"?

For me a headline no longer needs to say "muslim" when it already has "beheading" in it because I already know that when I click on it, I'm going to read about muslims.

I don't know, it just seems too easy...
