Just grep the country code in your /usr/share/zoneinfo/iso3166.tab file, like this (for the ZW code):

grep ZW /usr/share/zoneinfo/iso3166.tab
That command outputs the following:

ZW Zimbabwe

Actually I'm rather making fun of myself in this post. Most people don't spend their life at a Unix/Linux shell prompt.

More usefully, the current ISO 3166 Country Code table can be found at ISO 3166-1 Alpha-2 Country Code (http://www.iso.org/iso/country_codes/iso_3166_code_lists/country_names_and_code_elements.htm). It now has 249 entries, as opposed to the 208 entries in the opening post of this thread, though I doubt we have many members yet from the newest 41 countries.
