View Full Version : Spirit trap

In some of the stories I've told with dealing with unseen stuff at my home, I've always been fascinated with what my babe once called a vortex and I got stuck on it. It became my belief that there is portal in the little hedge grove next toy driveway.

There was a period of time where she would be drawn to it. Like she was being called by little kids who needed help. When she stepped in, her physical body stood still whole she was "gone". She's later describe being pulled in to misty grey blah place.

I had an old friend come by who was trained a little in reiki and energy work. Among other things, she went to that area and checked it out and was like "yup, it's a trap. I feel the kid energy calls and it's fake, a lure"

In hindsight I wish I didn't give her any preconceived notions, though I already kinda believed V already and so my friend just confirmed it, I trust her and believe she is the real deal. Has great humility and cautious about anything to "certain", if you follow me.

Anyway that word caught my ear: "trap". Fairly certain V used it too, and it was something bouncing around my imagination a bit. Anyone got any experience with this? Intriguing concept, no?

Hi there donk. Just by and by I found this interesting:
She's later describe being pulled in to misty grey blah place.

That sounds very similar to a "place" I used to go when I was starting to get the hang of meditation a few years ago. There were usually people "there" too, going through the motions of all sorts of drudgery. Being very spiritually naïve at the time I was fascinated. I mean hell man, I had broken through to some different dimension...(LOL)

Looking back now, I see that was NOT the kind of place to keep hanging around, and I'm thankful I didn't. That place and the people were trapped in some type of purgatory, and I would have become trapped too had I say used that as a prompt to get into the channeling scene.

Anyway, I think that ANY one place or experience we focus on for too long is a trap. Even meditation can be a trap. Metaphorically, I see our journey here like a kid trying to make their way from one end of an amusement park to the other. There's absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying the sights and sounds along the way, and by all means enjoy the thrill rides as well!
:)

But the trick is not getting stuck (trapped) on any one thing, thus forgetting we have a "destination". Sorry if this offends anyone (it's not intended to), but I see very effective traps laid all around for spiritual seekers, and Avalon is no exception.

Channeling, OBE's, meditation, enlightenment, conspiracy, aliens and UFO's, ascension, us vs. them, magic, free energy, and the list could go on and on. While none of these things are bad what so ever (and I've merrily touched on just about all of them), like in the amusement park the trick is to enjoy the ride, but then move on.

If something comes naturally that's one thing, as long as we don't become fixated on it. But purposely repeating, or trying to repeat the experience, is where the thrill ride becomes a trap.

What I wonder about with this "trap" or multitudes of "traps" is how does one know even what to move on to, or if one should move at all, is there a pinnacle one should rest in, or are they all "traps" to sail through until this life is complete?

Well said Fred , Rus--I am not sure...she figured it out, and we made a lot of progress toward not letting the source of that (or tender or trap layer or whatever) effect us the way it did a year ago, when it happened

like I've said many times, I'm not sensitive at all...so I only have others people word. three have corroborated something similar going on so I kinda go with it. It never felt right to her, except when she was initially sucked in ...I'm happy how quickly she recognized more was going on than it seemed.

Strange times

is there a way to disable said traps..so others see them or dont have to bee sucked in..smash the trap??i feel this can bee done..without getting sucked in myself.should i even try?feel like i would bee leaving a loaded live mine behind for someone else if i didnt.i agree with fred.it is a fine line we walk sometimes.

Well it seemed to me, and of course, all speculation here, there was an entity in waiting, which my lovely and talented gf is now host to. My friend said she sees at least two seperate in her that were "winning the battle", she feared that V would be consumed if she gave up, and regretted telling me she was being told (not sure if it were her guardians or the bad guys) that they were too strong for her, she needed serious help...which I've know for some time, as anyone following my rambling and venting on this esteemed forum will know by now.

Anyways, she (my sensitive healer friend) described what she felt as faint, could sense the ruse of "children calling", but didnt feel the area had the power I was describing that many people used to a year ago, even those who didnt believe in anything felt strong murky energy enough to mention it when they were near there, she said she could feel something, but perhaps we had taken (stopped providing) so much power to it lately.

When it first started working on ness, she had unstoppable draw to it. When she faced it went in after awhile, she completely stopped...no more staring at it, no more field trips to check it out late night (when she drank), barely a mention. My conclusion was it got her, there's residuals in the space, but the problem is now attached to her (along with plethora of others she already had)

Synchronicities have shown me many teachers and angles to this thing, I think I'm getting close to figuring it out. Hopefully we get the help she needs in a thorough cleansing, I've been opening her to many possibilities and avenues and don't intend on stopping unless our paths end up going different directions. Hopefully James' "spiritual roto-rooter" as he calls it will help when we visit him (at ECETI ranch) in 2.5 weeks...can't wait for that!

Heh, btw:

V = Vanessa
donk = Phil

I have no idea why I sometimes try to "hide", it's pretty silly. It used to be I thougt my (ex) MIL was on here, but she's not...and I realized if anyone I know actually reads this, it is a good thing...I can't imagine having any "enemies", and if I did and they were reading my **** how anyone would not who I am if they were seeking me...:p :o
