The Daily Bell stops publishing

Sometime within the last day, one of my favorite analysis sites, The Daily Bell (http://www.thedailybell.com), announced that it was ceasing posting new articles.

Their chief editor Anthony Wile posted a final article entitled Hasta La Vista (http://www.thedailybell.com/29394/Anthony-Wile-Hasta-La-Vista) that begins:




Well, it has been a great ride. Much has been accomplished at The Daily Bell and I, as founder and chief editor, have decided it is time to allow The Daily Bell to stand as is, as a historical testimony describing our current troubled and exciting times.

Content on TheDailyBell.com shall remain available as an educational and research tool. I and all the elves are humbled by what we have been able to contribute during this Internet Era, surely one of humanity's most significant epochs.

Well folks, it looks like The Daily Bell is to be no more. I don’t know about you, but I will miss their consistent libertarian and “Austrian school” take on things:

This is hard to hear, er ah read. DB was a good source of info outside the mainstream. Hopefully the writers and ideas will continue to make themselves known.
