Time stopped, became tangible. Encounters with a UFO. No sleep for eleven days without any physical strain. These are just some of the phenomenal developments manifested during the experiment at La Chorrera. To summarize their conclusions, Terence and Dennis postulated that "all phenomena are at root constellated by a waveform that is the hierarchical summation of its constituent parts, morphogenetic patterns related to those in DNA." (6) Basically, that time is an objective apparatus acting as a wave (instead of the linear line framework we get from historiography) and that all events and thought forms are the development of that wave's motion. The back and forth motion, or crest and trough, of this wave is represented by critical moments in history they call novelty: the discovery of fire, the birth of agriculture, the creation of the Mona Lisa, the invention of the steam engine, the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and so on. "Time is a topological manifold over which events must flow subject to the constraints of the manifold [...] by examining time from this point of view we can see when in history great outbreaks of novelty occurred." (7) Within this waveform the brothers found a pattern of novelty, a cycle in which the time spans become shorter and shorter. When this pattern ends it becomes a singularity, a zero point. Using a computer program they wrote, the McKenna brothers traced this zero point to an approximate location on our calendar and found it correlating with the end of the Mayan Calendar on December 22, 2012.

Hey there, dear Avalonians! Thanks for Terence McKenna's info and energy! I found some of it too, on You Tube recently, nice synchro! I guess his work is in the same timeframe as Aldous Huxley's, or the same sort of vibes, for me. I would like to throw in a warning, if I may. I have lived among quite a lot of drug users, in the seventies, without being on a high myself :) as if I need one...ahem...Most of them on soft drugs, but some on....I won't call names here...I am cautious...as I am NOT AT ALL promoting the use of this stuff, on the contrary. I have seen and sensed what it does to people.

When I listen to Terence McKenna, I can hear the experience of being on a high or other worlds/dimensions, in his voice...

And I am not at all judging here, or labelling, not at all! There is purity, beauty and knowledge in shamanism, I believe, if wisely lived. What I find is a great challenge, apart from the choice to simply enjoy a high as a way to chill out, is the integration of rich, colorful, insightful and loving experiences, wisdom too, breaking the prisonwall down of THE BOX, by the use of drugs that open the mind, to give them meaning in real practical daily life and actions. Drugs can be very shattering to the soul and the traveling out.....in....out....in...... of the physical body puts quite a strain on the nervous system. To say the least on the physical body itself.

Living in 2 worlds sort of hinders being in the NOW, except when these experiences are part of an education, like becoming a shaman. Or rather how to handle being one.
I know a few people who are aware of several dimensions in the same moment, having learnt to integrate that capacity. And I am not talking like if they are better or more advanced in their spirituality, as they are here in the body, finding issues to deal with all the time. It's hilarious how changing a fuse at home, can be very complicated to such a person.
And what if.... we all are experiencing several dimensions at the same moment, hmmmmmm? Without knowing it? Could very well be the case, NOW, don't you think?

In my not so humble opinion, and it's obvious very much so, we live in great change, on all levels and I feel, visually and almost physically now, that THE VEIL is falling down or dissolving, displaying parts or ourselves that have been forgotten for a long time. And I believe this is one of the most beautiful, loving laws of nature/existence, that these are the tools that we are going to use amidst of this great change.........I am diverting......sorry:)

But I would like very much to hear from you how your experiences/thoughts/feelings are on this.....diversion of mine :)

What I mean to say, is that when we use knowledge and wisdom of the spirit, combined with our hearts, in the work of our hands and when we use the work of our hands for the growth of our loving hearts and spirit, that this is the bridge over troubled water.....:)

It certainly is interesting how TPTB criminalize consciousness expanding drugs. It's okay to anesthetize your brain with alcohol, but try to reach beyond conventional reality and you're in big trouble.

Conventional reality is the box they keep us in.

check out 'true hallucinations' by mckenna, it is a novel he wrote and turned into an audio book, the story it tells was the start point of what eventually led to his theories on 2012, not what you might expect but a fantastic story and read in a very entertaining way by the man himself. it also has an account on his sighting of a ufo. the bloke was a literary master.

he had a theory that an alien intelligence exists within various intoxicants, especially psylocybin, that spores of the mushroom can exist in outer space and they could be some form of alien communication device for want of a better description. he said that if your were an alien wanting to get to know and communicate with huanity, what would be a better way to do it than disguise yourself as an intoxicant, as we are tottally closed and unresponsive and rigid in normal conciousness, but we do have a habit of getting intoxicated and becoming the complete opposite.
he belived that if you take the right substances in the right conditions you can communicate and be shown things by this alien intelligence.
