Day time event SOUNDING ???

Day time event sounding???
This is a bit long so I've split it into 4 events.

This complete event got me annoyed, wanted to see it (Them) but couldn't even though very clear skies hi clouds.

Event 1)
12:30
Taking my dog for a walk, crossing a small steam leading to the big playing fields a sudden Wissssh sound going East
(In direction of on coming commercial aircraft?).
I ran forwards looking upwards in that direction and nothing?

Ok missed that, what ever it was?

Event 2)
13:00
In the middle of the very big playing fields, clear vision to the whole horizon, clouds around 5-8 thousand feet.
Flying directly over me at around 1.500 feet commercial aircraft on landing approach ( I live on the runway 2-8-Right flight path to Heathrow-Airport, so I know the sights and noises those aircraft make)

Well from directly in front (East) of me a very, very fast Wissssh sound (A Sweet clean sharp sound) going away from me. An aircraft of some kind, it must have already been at great speed, not decelerating, no Sonic Boom, NO engine noise of any kind at all? just the sound of something going through the air at a very fast speed, Wissssh.

I caught the place I should have seen a very fast fighter plane, At about 1 o'clock (Position on a clock) to my line of view and lost the sound at about 2:30 o'clock (Position on a clock) to my view? at about 2 seconds of sound, I guess at about 1000 to 2000 feet height
But the main thing is no sighting of a craft at all, clear sky nothing? Now I'm good at finding, spotting fast moving aircraft but nothing? Sound was going in a North direction?
( Across the commercial flight path?)

Event 3)
13:15
Laying on my back in the middle of the same field a commercial aircraft just flying over but the sound not quite right? as it past I realized there was an overlay of a Fighter plan sound up higher going south, but again no sighting> now I really should have seen that aircraft, but NO..
Now I'm getting a bit fazed, zoned now!

Event 4)
13;20-13:30 ish
Still in middle of field, still clear skies and another of the Wissssssssh aircraft, same sweet clean sharp sound going North, now I was spot on it, focused by sound and again nothing Grrr and ???

What ever was going on, what ever was flying back and forth over me in clear skies to 5-8 thousand feet was totally invisible to me!!
It they where flying back and forth across and along the commercial flight lane with commercial aircraft flying???

Wish I had had a fast shutter speed camera, that way I might have caught a glimpse of something..

Anyone had or know of similar events? Invisible hi speed craft just air sound no sighting???

This might be a coincidence but this is just some 200 yards from where me and a friend had a very near and clear viewed UFO sighting. We saw a giant pulsating airship shaped craft back in the 80's, the one I call the 'Pulsating Cuttlefish UFO!. It wasn't an airship and me an a friend lost time and our journeys home...

Hey Sunny side up, I have experienced more than once, probably 4 or 5 times, aircraft flying directly over my yard. not jets, but smaller of the twin engine type. VERY low. But like you, nothing was there (to see). Totally invisible. No other explanation, other than "something" stealth. In fact, I am really happy to see that i am not the only one to have experienced this phenomena.

About 5 years ago, I was in my back yard, and heard the low rumble of a high flying jet, but it seemed to just "hover", because I could hear it for about a half hour. The sound did not move. Clear skies, not a cloud, but nothing was there.

No, did not have the swish. Just the definite sound of an aircraft directly above me, and IMO much lower than what would normally be legal. Tree top high.
I live in Illinois/USA. Most happened in the last few years. The 5 yrs ago one happened in another town 4 hours away. Both in Illinois.

At speeds faster than sound the plane may sound above your head but be completely out of sight, especially if the object is extremely high in the atmosphere.

I am used to having "flyovers", daily, with the plane in sight. I know the sounds very well. There is no way that these planes could have been out of sight by the sounds of the engines. no possible way. They have stealth technology, and are using it regularly. we need to be aware of that.

me and my oldest caught some on her hand held 3ds vid camera.the only way the ones we could make out have to be slowed to the slowest speed allowed.beyond sonic.one fly by..you can here a distinct low but audiable whosh..whissh type sound.also we captured some good stills on july 19th o something pretty big.we couldnt see it until after viewing on the camera.we have some experts with lap top coming to check em out.really get view of em.this tech is far far beyond any accepted norm.and thats just in the sky. well timed thread and post.thank you.

yes I've had quite a bit of experience with fast movers, low and hi good points.
I've experienced hi speed fighters suddenly slow in front of my line of vision and appear and cruse on off at around the 4-5 hindered speed, up until they slowed they of cause where invisible and soundless.
But in those cases they hadn't actually flown over me yet!

I've had Tornado's buzz over me at tree top height causing a sudden and great Roaring bash of noise, if your not used to it you look the wrong way but you can learn to look the opposite way against your normal instincts and so see the plane/s great fun!

What I heard and didn't see the other day was out of the norm!

One of the craft that day was a normal sounding jet engine but still wasn't visible!
That is of-cause if they where actually planes and not some other crafts flying around that day. Flying around and a cross a very busy commercial flight-lane?
They might do this on a regular basis OR they might have been testing out there stealth using the Airliners?

Well done william r sanford72 gratz on your capture, can't wait to one day see them posted here :). can you give us a clue to what they looked like?

the july 19th stills were taking just after a freak storm passed through.it is atleast half football long not sure how wide rectangle with rounded edges..cigarish. 20 thousand feet to 30 thousand feet.it doesnt move.its just sitting there.we only got 4 shots of that one.the vids..there i think disc shaped..or top shaped..oblong???they are moving to fast to make out a shape.the mufon tech guy i hope will be here around 2:30 pm iowa time.hope they can get details a cheap camera cant and a hand held game console.sorry if its a bit offf thread but i am a little excited to have some visual proof to go along with what i have seen and gone through.for the people around me this might help.william.

About a week ago, I was driving to work and was startled by a very loud and sudden 'metal-on-metal' shrieking noise. It was just outside of my truck, on the right side. I was in the right lane, next to a metal divider. My initial reaction was to slow suddenly, and that is what I did, I assumed that I had wondered to the right, and was now scraping against the guard rail. There was nobody behind me, thankfully. I had slowed quite suddenly! The sound lasted for about 10 seconds. It was LOUD and shocking. It changed in pitch and got louder and then it went silent!! I pulled over on the freeway and got out of my truck to look and see the damage, but there was nothing. I had not hit anything,, not a thing. It had to have been an aircraft. There wasn't one anywhere in the sky, but it HAD to have been. Whatever it was, it was loud and fast and nowhere to be seen.

I suppose I could describe the sound as a very peculiar sonic boom. I wonder what an Aurora would be doing over mee humble town. :( Isn't this a super secret SPY plane?

hay jake was it screech and then a loud pop??or SNAP like??cause thats been heard on the farm overhead and on the ground.sounds silly i know but ive been describing this very sound with another member in detail in pm starting a month ago.just curious.

jagman Nice pic :) The Aurora is a very hi altitude craft. I now aircraft Booms and the like carry and even bounce off the higher levels of our atmosphere, like Concord going through the sound barrier over the north sea and being heard in Boston I think it was! But the sound I was hearing was from a low down craft/s which crisis-crossed my area. Having read about the Chines having a sub moved around I can't help feel it was more along that level of tech. Going by my head turn and focus of my ears it was above up 800 mph easily and low. I had 25 mile air space vision I guess and nothing could be seen going off in the direction of the sound, low or hi level...
No way of knowing if it was: friend-or-foe, terrestrial or other lol...Probably a mix of all ha :(
