Here's an interesting Corbett Report discussing how things can improve without control systems.

Martin Cassini of EqualityStreets.com joins us to discuss the Equality Streets campaign for traffic system reform. We talk about what a traffic system without traffic controls looks like, how it can reduce congestion, frustration, accidents and even death, and how this idea has already been implemented in various cities around the globe. We also explore the social and political implications of the idea that humans can be counted on to react responsibly in the absence of overarching systems of control. Please view the following videos for more detail on this subject:

To quote the Beatles....SLOW DOWN...you're movin' way too fast.....

That's how to solve traffic problems....the less the regulation...the less the confusion.

It works on highways, and it works in finance...and most all patterns in life.

Yes of course speed kills etc but i was thinking about the bigger picture scenario.Mr Cassini explained that in some small towns there were traffic problems and then when the lights and signs were removed the traffic problems disappeared.People started to take more responsibility when driving rather than just rely on traffic signs etc.In these situations the removal of this control system was beneficial and so the same might happen in many other different circumstances.
