A Place for Prayer
http://www.insaf-pls.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/religious-harmony.jpg
In a quest for solidary, I would like to specifically provide 'A Place for Prayer', here, on our Avalon forum where each one of us can take our liberty to post any particular prayer requests that may crop up in our lives. Whether your prayer request is specifically for yourself,....or a loved one,....or your country,.....or even the world, itself,....let this be a 'place' where we can record this particular 'prayer request' for all to see and to be cognizant of. Prayer is highly powerful when properly implicated by people who 'bind together' and care.
With the great diversity we have, here, at Avalon,....wouldn't it be great to see Jewish people praying for an Islamist's personal needs, ( and vice-versa)? Regardless to one's personal outlook,....wouldn't it be great to lay all of that aside and simply 'pray' for someone else's mother, father, sisters, or brothers, as if they were your own?
We can make a huge difference,.....'if' we try, folks!
I will even 'begin' this by asking for 'continued prayer' for my mother, whose name is Virginia. She is 75, and has just undergone a 'successful' removal of a cancerous tumor from her colon. She is to actually see her doctor, today, 8/20/13, to discuss her 'options' concerning any treatment she might need in the future. She was told that she did not have any signs of cancer in her lymph nodes, which is certainly great news! They may 'suggest' chemo treatments to her,....but I am trusting that she won't have to go that route, and continuing to rely on prayer on her behalf.
To the 'concerned', here at Avalon, we can 'all' periodically come back to this thread to check up on each others prayer concerns and witness the fruits of all of our efforts.
We 'all' know of someone, somewhere, who needs prayer, folks!
In James 4:2, it says, ( in part),.....
.....ye have not, because ye ask not
Let's not be guilty of 'not asking', my dear friends!
Your brother, friend, and servant,.......kreagle
