Secrets of the UFO —Don Elkins & Carla Rueckert. Atlanta 1978
Most readers of the Law of One may not be familiar with the Don Elkins & Carla Rueckert story prior to that event, and even fewer will have seen them interviewed on TV as here. This is like an expanded version of Richard Dolan’s ten-minute presentation to former congressmen this year, and after thirty-five years, with the exception of the coverup, which has gone into overdrive since then, it covers practically all the ground that Dolan covers; this is both a tribute to Elkins’s sober, scientific handling of the data and a sign of the lack of progress if any that has been made in all that time. This being so, it deserves to reach a wider audience today, not as a historical document,
Don Elkins’s work established his channeling protocols as being UFO contact without the hardware component. He set a standard that few others have reached, and which Carla seems to have maintained through her contacts with the Q’uo principle, which invariably emphasizes the need for a discerning ear. I know they get a few mentions in Picknett and Prince’s The Stargate Conspiracy, but that book kind of shoots itself in the foot from the outset by taking the subtitle “Revealing the truth…” to warn against returning ancient gods. The only conspiracy perhaps here is the fact of lumping together a variety of material on the basis of ones’ own negative view. Quoted on the back cover is this somewhat ambiguous compliment from the Daily Mail: “Picknett and Prince are first-class storytellers”.
Be that as it may, this interview deals exclusively with the hard UFO evidence then available. Elkins is not talking about gods, just “nice people” visiting in craft that leave tangible evidence.
