Fear Propaganda & End of the World Scenarios that were duds - lets look back at history and laugh at ourselves

In the couple years or so since I have been a member of Avalon, I have witnessed us pass from one End of the World scenario or world disaster to the next. :drama:

2012 was a popular fear monger :drama: period here at Avalon, and there appears to never be a dull moment on any given day for a multitude of ways that either our;

Government, God, Satan, Russia, China, Aliens from Outer Space, Monsters, Comets, Asteroids, Sun blowing up, Global warming, Nuclear War, tidal waves, etc... were going to be the demise of humanity. :dizzy:

I thought it would be entertaining if we could spend some time to look back at our own history of horrible events that had us totally gullible and believing that disaster was going to strike at any moment and see how many duds exist.:bigfish::fie::mmph:


Some might remember the Simon Parks thread (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?30323-Simon-Parkes-about-Mantis-Aliens-Reptiles-and-other-aliens.&p=606574&viewfull=1#post606574) where he talks about how there is going to be a false alien invasion coming soon.

Well it is about 7 months past, so we shall have to wait just to see if that event unfolds soon. How many here are still looking up to the skies waiting for those alien ships :ufo: to attack us ?

Yes Cataloged entries of such events would stagger the mind and quite frankly piss off the soul! I know mine is...im tired of focusing on this crap----

Up until 2.5 years ago, I believed in Pane Andov's information concerning the Nexus wave. I guess I was not alone, the thread posted on the old Avalon forum, some years before, was one of the most successful ones, and I think that Pane is a very nice person. Nevertheless, apart from the fair justifications that many of these scenarios may have had, I am still recovering on a loss of credibility thanks to that...and at times have to listen to my wife reminding me that I wanted to buy property in the 'safe triangle zone'. Anyway...I don't regret having opened my mind to these possibilities...what a great lesson it has been, and that's why I appreciate this thread, it is kind of fun to look back.

Thank you for the fantastic thread! :)
I believe some of the scenarios were just corrected and not allowed to exist any longer or been diverted to another dimension/time by our loving higher spiritual beings.
In the end, What predictions do when realizing nothing happened is first a big relief :dance3:and also a build of further doubt something going on out there.
If we try to focus on probable circumstances and events and not on Predictions per se we can let ourselves be less susceptible to fear and also more credible to people who are just studying and wanting to learn awakening.

There is nothing wrong with be prepared for a disaster they happen all the time. I think

a good chunk of Avalon here is waiting for some major SHTF scenario that these

cointelpro agents have been churning out for years to get us scared and focus on

saving our families and not growing spiritually. In 2006-10 I was in a constant state

of fear from hearing these doom theory's, but eventually i realized it was a trap. I

live today looking to the future in a positive way and my life has never been the same

since. The future is gonna be positive as long as that what you focus your attention

on. we create our own reality.

Thank goodness the original poster of the video announced that it was a hoax and he was an actor making up the whole story.
