Hey Ruthie, may I suggest that you look into Bill's "How to Heal the World" thread and see if there's anything positive you can think of to contribute? There are lots of great suggestions in that thread. The thread is based on the idea that no matter what they're doing out there to scare the bejessus out of us, no matter how big the threat feels, we have some power of our own and we should be using it. Now is the time.
As an organic gardener, I can tell you with certainty that
1) just because it LOOKS like it's going to rain,
2) just because it FEELS like it's going to rain,
3) just because if SMELLS like it's going to rain,
4) just because the humidity is 80%, the sky is full of dark clouds, and the wind is kicking up, that absolutely does not mean that it's actually going to rain. Often the whole system just blows over and it doesn't rain. That means that in order to tend the gardens, I have to step up to the plate and turn on the watering system.
The symbolism here may be a little convoluted, but I hope you get the meaning. Just because things LOOK a certain way does not mean that they ARE that way. Because our thoughts have power, it is actually best to not think about these things too much, thereby giving them your power and contributing fuel to the fear fire.

I know it is good to have a positive view of the world we live in, but that doesn't mean we have to go around with blindfolds on and ear plugs in Doodah. Ruthie as I see it is offering another perspective to prepare us for the rain. You gave us four cases to consider for growing stuff in your garden, but if all these signs were noticed and you were planning on walking 3 miles into town I think carrying an umbrella would be sensible. It doesn't mean it is going to rain either, but neither does it mean that you are a pessimist. Actually there are very many indications that a war against Syria is imminent, so it is a foolish thing to discount the possibility entirely. Unless of course you have intel to the contrary.

Or, on the flip side of that coin, you could say that if attention gets publicly drawn to something surreptitious, then it provides a chance to foil a possible future scheme?
*shrug* Dunno.
All the attention paid to the security at the past summer olympics, was that all a bunch of wasted avalon forum posts that should have been more positive?
I appreciate hearing other perspectives, but I felt that just replying to the OP with a put-down was a little harsh.

I don't think posting information that is meant to make people AWARE of things, as NEGATIVE. It's only information...if you find you have too much negativity around you, I suggest you don't click on a thread that is entitled as mine was. Information that is given as a warning can be POSITIVE, unless you'd rather walk around blindly in your surroundings, unaware of problems, and therefore powerless to change them. I don't dwell in negativity, I dwell in informing myself on a variety of topics. We so happen to be living in troubling times, yes there are many good things happening, but there are also many disturbing things as well. I only post things as I am concerned about because I want to help, I want to make sure people keep an eye open and are safe!
If you think my wanting a safer world by posting information I believe could benefit those around me..then guilty as charged. I will let you know when my next thread about unicorns and rainbows comes out, maybe you will be less angry then. For wanting so much positivity, you spewed nothing but negative vibes back there doooooodah.

You are incredibly negative and paranoid. Information is only that, and I post things to get others opinions and if it can provide someone with new facts that they were unaware of, or maybe they find some additional information that I was unaware of, and share back. That is all. I hardly think you should find this threatening in anyway. But if you are sensitive to information that makes you feel bad vibes, perhaps you shouldn't click on threads that don't mention only happy happy subjects, it will not cause you to get so upset then.

Thanks for your rational response Aranuk ! You rock!

These days it is prudent to look at everything no matter how small or big, leave every possibility open and go in eyes wide open ... a global agenda in place for a very long time is about to merge , just as timelines merge ... after syria , then Iran , then the hostile alien false flag leading to martial law and fema camp vacations ...then on to vaccines and micro-chipping while they have everyone rounded up like sheep ...
