The following is an email I sent out to family and friends yesterday and I thought it might be good to share it with Avalon--for what it's worth.

Dear Family and Friends,
On the cusp of the 12th Anniversary of that infamous day, 9/11, I can’t help but feel we have let the fallen down in our complacency regarding that day and our rush to judgment as to who was responsible for the attacks and why.
Even if we can somehow rationalize away (or ignore) the mountains of evidence provided by eye witnesses and highly credible experts and professionals in their fields who refute the official government conclusion as to what happened that day and what caused the buildings to collapse, how can we rationalize away the fact that it takes weeks, if not months, for demolition experts to analyze a building's structure and determine where hundreds of explosives must be placed (and set off in a finely tuned sequence) to bring a building down in a vertical collapse without toppling over and destroying surrounding buildings, yet not one, not two, but three buildings were brought down in such a manner simply by fire (or so we are led to believe) only two of which were caused by jet impact?
There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of questions posed by highly credible witnesses and professionals that have gone unanswered regarding the attacks of 9/11, yet our government and its mainstream media continue to refuse to address any of them. Why do you suppose that is? Could it be because they don't want you to know the truth? What are they afraid of if their “official” version of the “truth” is actually true?
But perhaps the more important question to ask is: why do the majority of the American people seem to not care about discovering the truth? What are we afraid of? Could it be because if we learned the actual truth that we'd then have to face the fact that our government and the world is nothing like what we believed (or were led to believe) it to be and that then we would have to make some very hard decisions as to what to do about it? Each individual must search their heart and soul to answer those questions.
I submit to those who claim they care about the truth, if not for themselves then at least for the thousands of men and women who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks and the thousands more soldiers who were injured or lost their lives in the ensuing wars to “get the perpetrators,” which is a more rational approach:
to refuse to look at any evidence that refutes the official claims and blindly accept everything the government and its mainstream media tells them—which is akin to going to the fox guarding the hen house to ask if the chickens are safe; or,
to research both the “official” evidence AND the contradicting evidence produced by thousands of highly credible witnesses and experts and then, and only then, determine if you think a truly independent investigation into the disputed “facts” are warranted in order to get to the real truth once and for all?
I think you all know where I stand on this issue. Where do you stand?
Here is just a small sample of facts:
Congress and the President created the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United States on November 27, 2002—over 14 months after the September 11, 2001 attacks.
According to the 9/11 Commission Report Preface: “The law directed us to investigate “facts and circumstances relating to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001...”” By virtue of their own statement, it should be obvious that the government's true intentions for forming the 9/11 Commission was NOT to discover the truth regarding the 9/11 attacks, but rather to gather evidence to support their foregone conclusion that it was terrorists who perpetrated the attacks on the World Trade Center buildings.
Building 7 was not hit by any planes yet it too fell. According to the government, building 7's collapse was due to an office fire even though there has never been before or since any skyscraper that fell due to a fire.
Skyscrapers are designed, built and tested to withstand a hit, and an ensuing fire, caused by a jet aircraft. So how is it that not one, but two, towers could collapse from a strike by a jet aircraft? And why were there no odds ever provided for the likelihood of two such events occurring on the same day in the same place to two separate buildings?
WTC building 7 was not mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report.
NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) admits WTC7 fell at “free-fall velocity,” but does not explain how that is possible unless it was a controlled demolition.
The steel was removed and destroyed in unprecedented swiftness before a real examination of the steel could be made. Further, requests by independent analysts to examine the steel were denied.
Hundreds of cars were toasted, some blocks away from the WTC buildings, with surrounding cars and even paper left untouched. What could have caused that? Certainly not a jet impact to a building blocks away!
On September 10, 2001, just one day before 9/11, Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, reported to the mainstream media that the Pentagon could not account for a “missing” 2.3 trillion dollars. While this was in the news months before 9/11 and it may or may not be true that the records were kept in WTC building 7 and many of those killed were accountants and other financial people who worked for the Pentagon and other government agencies, the fact remains that the government has never told us where that “missing” money went (12 years after 9/11) nor have they showed us how they've “corrected” the problems, incompetence and corruption.
