I saw this and it reminded me how many people in Asia still care for one another.

Hi Ioneo,
Thank you for posting the video. I watched it earlier. Cried like a baby. It was cathartic. And I was encouraged that sooner than later, the whole world will be like that.
I'd add here. Why wait? Random acts of kindness are free. Smiles, hold the door, pass along a 'have a nice day'. If you've got a couple of dollars, leave it for the next person that comes in to pay at the gas pump.
Peace,
Paula

I try to do simple acts of kindness everyday, what i need to tell myself is that it isn't an act of kindness but just the way it should be, hard in this world at times when the exact opposite seems to be 2nd nature. but we will persevere and win in the end.

That's the gold in The Golden Rule. Who dreamed up that? Did you cry a little? Good, you're in.
The Golden Age guys. Get used to it.

I've been to Thailand many times and the people are poor but always have a welcoming smile. They are also used to giving because every morning Buddhist monks all across the country take their begging bowls around and get enough food for 2 meals. They still do it the same as in the Buddha's time.

My dad told me of a boy who in his school was either picked on or ignored. My dad always
said "hi" to him. Moving 15 years later, while walking through a warehouse, my dad heard,
"Hi Joe." He stopped and turned around. Just then a whole stack of heavy boxes toppled over
and would have impaled him on spools. It was the boy from HS.
Kindness never forgets and always returns.

Hi!
Yes very moving vid, my tears immediately started to flow...
There's a Swedish radioprogram where pple can call and talk to a psychotherapist. The other day there was this guy who went to an Asian country (he did not say which one) where you can leave your wallet and keys on the table while taking a nap on the train and when you awake your valuable things will still be there. One can leave the door unlocked and you don't get attacked on the street.
I got the impression his parents are Asian living in Sweden. He wants to go back to his girlfriend in Asia but had to go home because his mother is ill.
I wonder what country that might be???

It's a mobile phone network advert ffs. Media manipulation at it's finest.
