" This is a victory for all those who think special interests shouldn’t get special deals. This secret rider, which was slipped into a must-pass spending bill earlier this year, instructed the Secretary of Agriculture to allow GMO crops to be cultivated and sold even when our courts had found they posed a potential risk to farmers of nearby crops, the environment, and human health. I applaud the hundreds of thousands of Americans who have worked hard to end this diabolical provision." -Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-OR

Of course, one must now look for the place they have hidden further incursion. Things like this don't simply give up and go away.

Maybe, but at least the Senate listened on this one, because people didn't just roll over and accept it! Two major NWO issues (Syria strikes and this Monsanto waiver) have been halted, and that is HUGE. (Next on the Agenda, NSA monitoring and banking/Fed, among others...)

This issue is being monitored like crazy and it'll be hard to slip anything by the anti-GMO groups. Certainly the lobbyists will try, but given the choice of hanging on to their Senate seats vs facing the inevitable fallout, I think most will choose keeping their seats. There are plenty of other special interest lobbies that will fill any campaign $ void.

We Dems don't play, when injustice on the people is 'afoot." That's real, at least these Democrats that KNOW WE have our foot squarely up their foot if they even try to hobknob with the criminals.
