Stewart Rhodes, founder and President of Oath Keepers, argued that there’s a relentless campaign going on to centralize power, militarize the police, and strip power out of the hands of average citizens. This kind of situation sets people up for a dictatorship, such as seen in Stalinist Russia and Nazi Germany, he remarked. Rhodes believes that economic collapse and the ensuing chaos will be used to accelerate the centralizing of power, and the scrapping of the US Constitution.

Stewart also discusses what people need to do now to counter that assault and to prepare for what is coming.

I think that the Simpsons had some idea of the government takeover and destruction of the US Constitution. In this episode (Treehouse of Horror XIII), Lisa decides that Springfield should ban guns because of their destructive use. When all guns are finally gone, Billy the Kid and his crew arise from their graves as zombies and take over Springfield. Everything quickly turns into chaos and the citizens are run by the zombies.

Does this remind anybody of what the US government is currently trying to do by destroying the 2nd amendment? Instead of zombies, it's actually the government. This was just a cutesie way of letting us know their plan....:usa2:

The Founding Fathers of the US created the 2nd amendment not to give citizens freedom to possess firearms to protect against burglars and grizzly bears....they created it so citizens can protect themselves against the government if it acted in tyrannical ways.

Without the 2nd amendment we won't have the first amendment ... all set in place because the framers understood what government will do if left unchecked, they just finished fighting the tyranny of England ... Sad they left their own country , fed up with control , made a new world and that tyranny followed them saying you can't have free speech , no guns , only the religion we say , no gathering together , no private property , etc ... lucky for us , they said to England leave us alone and we will make a better world based on FREEDOM ... We are on the verge of losing everything that those before us fought and died for ...

It amazes me that we got ourselves into this mess in the first place and let this happen! I've only been around since 1990, so the Baby Boomers of the US have let this happen. The rights of Americans have been on the decline because the people who are not awake and aware let this happen.

Sadly, people believe that living in a city being provided for by the government for all their necessities is a good thing. But once you give this power to the government and are dependent on them for your food source, they have control over you. The destruction of Organic family farms and the creation of "jobs" in the city has been the tool that people have fell for. What we think of as progress does not always mean a good thing.

The NSA recording everything and building their database could mean , if they need to pin something on someone they could insert things that weren't there , making anyone a terrorist ... and the individual would have their own words but , the NSA could produce tons of doctored documents that would make a court case in their favor , requardless of the truth ...

Your conjecture is well and fine, but other than here say, can you substantiate this statement with facts it is so. Please supply facts with your understanding so the members can discern whether it can be substantiated. Attacking the messenger without facts is trying to distract from the message and the message quite simple is educate and protect yourself for a better future. Fact is that natural and man made disasters do happen and it is better to be prepared.
