This treaty could take away farmers markets, GMO labeling, green initiatives and undermine internet freedom.
Shady corporate BS..

Excellent interview. I don't think I've heard about this before. We all know NAFTA was a piece of crap, and this sounds FAR worse.

We know what NAFTA did , I can't imagine Nafta on steroids ... companies close shop and ship operations overseas for cheap labor , bye bye jobs , and now other companies in other countries wont be able to compete with the incoming big boys and their political backing , bye bye mom and pop operations . basically a global Nafta ... it can't be good ...welcome to the New World Order economy run by the big corporations ... taking the government to court for money they didn't make because of whatever , and making the tax payer foot the bill once again ...

While some focus is on doom scenarios, this TPP and agenda 21 roll quietly on in the background, with little transparency and msm coverage.
More info at this activist post article: http://www.activistpost.com/2012/07/trans-pacific-partnership-agenda-21.html

There's some info and a link for further action near the bottom of this article: https://www.eff.org/issues/tpp

Thanks Referee for bringing this back to the 'headlines' on PA. A very serious subject indeed.
This is the 3rd time in about 2 months the TPP was featured here at PA. As usual, we post and discuss our doom and offer no solution to the issue.
I'll volunteer to offer solution which I'm sure most don't want to hear again.
We must change the rules of the money game here in the US. Re-enacting Glass-Steagall is the only viable alternative to the current paradigm. LaRouchePAC.com is spearheading the re-enactment of Glass-Steagall. At present, there are about 25 states that have passed resolutions, about halfway there. JPMC, Citibank, etc are spending millions to stop this effort against the minority calling for its re-instatement.
A fair Glass-Steagall banking system becomes null and void if the TPP agreement passes. And it will with this presidunt.
The type of future I see without a fair banking system is featured in the 2013 movie "Elysium". We won't have to wait till the year 2154 for a polluted, diseased and overpopulated world. Note: What happened to the depopulation agenda between 2013 and 2154?

I have to agree. Some how we have to return control of government to the People. There seems to be no end to the different end arounds the law that these people are willing to use. Just like the Lisbon treaty take a look at Europe this is much like trickery used to destroy local governmental control. Glass Stiegel is a huge step and the first logical step. I would also like to see the 25 generals step up as mentioned in Bill's Michael Hasting's thread.

Referee, when I started a thread about this, I pointed out the extreme secrecy and that people in Congress weren't even aware of the administration's negotiation on TPP.
According to the video you have added to this dialogue, some in Congress are aware and that is good news, Contacting your representatives can't hurt. I have already emalled my three reps this morning. They sure don't like being left out of the decision making process, so they might pay attention.
Thanks for the video which shows some people are waking up. This is international crony capitalism to the max. Thank you!
