Tin man?
While the Enterprise is on a mission to a future supernova, they get a visit from Tam Elbrun, well-acquainted with Counselor Deanna Troi and a specialist in contacts with aliens. Their actual target is 'tin-man', a space vessel which is believed to be an organic creature, yet no manufactured cyborg, but can't be contacted except hopefully telepathically, a task even Elbrun failed at so far, which seems to work dangerously on his temper, while he has the rare medical condition that his mind-reading ability is by default on, which progressively builds up excessive stress, so he finds only android Data relaxing company. Meanwhile the Romulans, who monitor every probe in the space zone, have already sent two space ships, and then the Enterprise senses a ship of unseen power. Troi finds out more about Elbrun and 'tin man' and Data about the Romulans' ruthless orders... Written by KGF Vissers

Don't mean to be of topic, but didn't bob lazar speak about a bio-mechanical ship like that at Area 51
I know it was someone that worked at Area 51 but not sure who really...

I dont think I have seen that one but it sounds interesting. Speaking of star trek I just watched
"Into Darkness" and it was great! I wish I would have saw it on the big screen in Imax. I don't
want to give away to much but Khan was always my favorite villian.

Thats the one shadowstalker, thank-you, and not sure if Bob Lazar spoke of that type, he mentioned seeing some in hangars and worked on the sportser model. My hypothesis is that the ones filmed here exhibit characteristics that gave me the impression it was bio-mechanical in nature even saying as much as sentient. There were some parallels to that episode with Tin Man which was awesome, he was telepathic and sentient, and the object observed here also appeared to have a translucent organic surface with what looked like a vascular sytem. The video sphere consumes light energy and wow clip are examples.

I thought of the one where wesly sat at the controls with an ET and using his spiritual powers made the enterprise move so fast , when they stopped they calculated it would take millions of years for them to get back where they started ... the ET phased in and out while doing this hyper warp drive event , is that the one your looking for ???

Hi Mojo, another Trekker here - "Tin Man" is it, as you've said... (you may be interested to know there were similar storylines as per your description featured in the other ST series too ;)
The original series STAR TREK and subsequent movies (Capt Kirk, Mr Spock, Dr McCoy etc) - referred to as STAR TREK TOS
STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION (STTNG) - Capt Jean Luc Picard, Commander William Riker, Commander Data (an android), Counsellor Deanna Troi (partly telepathic) - this was the series featuring "Tin Man"
STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE (STDS9) - Set mostly on a space station - Commander Benjamin Sisko, Major Kira, Odo (a shapeshifter)
STAR TREK: VOYAGER - Lost in the Alpha Quadrant - Captain Katherine Janeway, Tuvock (Vulcan), 7-of-9 (part Borg)
The Prequel to the original Series, STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE; Capt Jonathan Archer, T'Pol (Vulcan female), Trip, Dr Phlox etc
There was also a popular animated series after the original show in the early 70's which used the same (and new) characters as the original. ;)
You can find all the episode guides here (and related links too with brief synopsis for each ;)

I think Ghostrider is referring to the first STAR TREK MOVIE (not to be confused with STAR TREK: VOYAGER) but he's quite right. The story involved the NASA Voyager Space Probe, recovered by an advanced mechanical alien race which became a gigantic intelligence of its own, calling itself "V'ger", using a (bald) female Deltan crew member (Ilia) to communicate - similar theme ;). This was based on an Original Series episode, "The Changeling".

Not too sure if it was Bob Lazar, as he mostly talked about the "Sports Model" saucer held at S4, a few miles South of Area 51.
The second crashed ship at Socorro, - a V shaped winged craft, (part of the Roswell crash), was allegedly bio-mechanical. Lazar mentioned that one of the nine "disks" held at S4 fitted the description of this vehicle (#5 above):

There was a episode in 'star trek next generation' in which a creature lives upon feeding energy from asteroids, and the crew thinks it is a ship but turns out to be a living creature.
While their is one other episode were Deanna Troi's friend arrives onboard, And because of his high telepathic abilities he was in communication with a creature, who he thinks to be very lonely. Finally they find that it is a huge ship, and that it wants to destroy itself by going inside the star. It is because it was not serving anyone. It need an biological creature to serve for, but it itself has its own intelligence. Deanna Troi's friend goes to that ship and be the part of it.

veeger, was the name.
Also, be aware that writers for differing production companies, independents, etc...Do indeed come here to Avalon and strip mine the forum for script ideas.
Of that, there is little doubt.
In the earlier days, they had to seek out books and older stories. with the net, they can merely observe, ruminate, and strip mine ideas... and put together the story they want. Something they can sell, something they feel they can make work for their intended market.
Be aware of what you put out on this forum, as it may be part of a movie, some day.
