Instead of showing critical missing children bulletins, the federal Amber Alert website on Sunday displayed a sparse, white screen with a simple message: It's a victim of the government shutdown.

I am sure that "the website" that posts new photos of Obama daily stays running and updated....Actually, let me correct that, why those US key websites are being shut-down is a very suspicious act. I mean, a site can be "running on automatic", it is updates that might require someone but that does not mean the US Gov. needs to shut-down their key sites (like NASA for example). Am I missing something here?
