As one of the participants says in his feedback: "I am very happy and grateful that such a spontaneous decision to participate has turned out into one of the most beautiful and inspiring trips for me ever."

Thank you for sharing these with us - I can well believe it was a magical trip. I remember reading about dolmens in Vladimir Megre's Anastasia books although they can be found all over the world. About 30 years ago on a visit to the Black Sea I wanted to visit the dolmens at Krasnodar but wasn't allowed because, although it was during glasnost, it was still very difficult to travel anywhere apart form the route prescribed by Intourist:(.

I think those homes of stone were built for protection from animals larger than man so man and his family could sleep at night with one on watch. The hole will only allow for fox or coyote, wolf or smaller prey and snakes. Good eating if one should try to come in and bite or steal food from the family.
I really believe this because if I was a lone survivor with meager tools to make weapons, a stone shelter with a small way in and large enough to have weapons inside for decapitation, would be my plan.

Thanks for sharing these wonderful pictures of Dolmens - A dolmen pilgrimage sounds like a great idea and can be a way to connect with the knowledge of our ancient ancestors as was written in the Anastasia books (book 3 or 4 I think). They are also known as cromlechs and can be found all over Europe, in India, Israel and Syria and are particularly abundant in Ireland, France and The British Isles.
This is a good website to find out more -

Some scientists believe that dolmens are much older than Egyptean pyramids, dated from 2000 to 8000 BC

Thank you VestnikRA for sharing these images and information.
I have not seen these 'Dolmens of Russia' before.
Their constitutions is very interesting with the triangular end stones!
I also seen some face stones have carvings, an outline like a suggestion of a door?

the Egyptian pyramids are 73,340 years old built in two stages ...my source Ptaah the ET ishwish of earth , looking over our little blue marble for the last 1,000 years ...
brilliant pics. thank you so much for posting. What do you think those small round holes were for? they seem too small for an entrance, too much effort just for a window, they all seem to have them, it was obviously an important design point, I wonder what its purpose was??.... N

to me, they look like the size of an igloo hole (nothern inuit snow/ice shelters), so yes, an entrance that will more or less efficiently hides from the elements and harsh winters, there must have been some other complétions to those dolmen that were made of trees and planks etc.

When were these dolmens constructed? They look very old, though the 'entrance' holes would have been difficult to do without metal tools I think.

That's a good question. Most of the dolmens don't have any carvings. Only very few of them have portal carvings outside of the front slab and zigzag carvings - inside whcih definately point to significance of these particular dolmens.

They are about 5 to 10 thousand years old.

The holes would have let the smoke out maybe...no doubt they had fires lit in them for warmth/cooking easier to make the hole in the sides...

No, they were built for different purposes, not as dwellings. All dolmens used to have a plug before, you can still see some of the plugs in museums - https://www.flickr.com/photos/spaceoflove/14347174551/

Interesting. Have these been plotted on a map? Have their orientations been marked? The circles remind me of others on megalithic sites that are used to track the sun and indicate when the solstice or equinoxes occur. I skimmed your article on SpaceofLove and noticed where you talked about sensory deprivation. Maybe the sites could have been used to facilitate out of body experiences, especially at pivotal times like the equinoxes and/or solstices?

Yes, some of the dolmens have been plotted on a map, like here:
http://www.spaceoflove.com/map_of_dolmens.jpg
The orientation may be different. Usually the front slab with a hole face a river. However the dolmens located on the top of the ridge may face in opposite directions.

I admit being uneducated about Dolmans. I looked them up on Wikipedia and learned they were Burial sites. That seems a little strange to me. Does anyone have any other ideas about their history?

The dolmens are older than Egyptian pyramids and they have a few different purposes. They are not simple burial sites that's for sure. Yes, follow the link by the seeker - I wrote this article a few years ago.

Throughout the readings of the ‘Sleeping Prophet’ Edgar Cayce we again encounter amazing references to Russia’s special place in the cosmic plan. Cayce said:
“In Russia there comes the hope of the world, not as that sometimes termed of the communistic, or Bolshevik, no; but freedom, freedom! That each man will live for his fellow man! The principle has been born. It will take years for it to be crystallised, but out of Russia comes again the hope of the world.”
(Edgar Cayce, 1944, No. 3976-29)
… for changes are coming, this may be sure — an evolution, or revolution in the ideas of religious thought. The basis of it for the world will eventually come out of Russia; not communism, no! But rather that which is the basis of the same, as the Christ taught — His kind of communism! (Edgar Cayce, c. 1930, No. 452-6)
On Russia’s religious development will come the greater hope of the world. Then that one or group that is the closer in its relationship [with Russia] may fare the better in gradual changes and final settlement of conditions as to the rule of the world. (Edgar Cayce, c.1932)
I always used to wonder what he meant by this and have pondered it for many years. I feel strongly that he may have been referring to the Ecovillages that are springing up throughout Russia, inspired by Anastasia.
